    Makes me so happy that we have similar deck building styles 😅. I went with Blade of selves and “when this creature enters or attacks” effects for a few of the cards

    Great deck tech and I’m glad you understand that Disa shouldn’t be built strictly as a Goyf kindred deck but run goyfs as the sub theme. Too many people online seem to be misinterpreting how this deck should probably be built.
    Also I really like Korvold Gleeful Glutton in this deck too since he also cares about permanent types in your graveyard. Comes down as evasive attacker and draws you a bunch of cards and grows big.

    Old stickfingers + ashes of the fallen/maskwood with disa in play goes super hard in this deck

    Underrealm Lich would be good for fixing Draws and Milling mid to late game. If you get 6 triggers on a Toski, Then the Lich lets you see 18 cards deep. And if you have your Maskwood Nexus effects out you can send the creatures to the bin and they get reanimated to your board!

    Possible one sided board wipe with Crux of Fate, selecting “Destroy all Non Dragons” when you have your Maskwood Nexus effects out!

    Mimic vat is really good in this it will allow you to send your dead creatures to exile instead of the graveyard and then when another creature dies you can move it from exile to the graveyard sending it back to the battlefield and recycling your goyfs

    For a unique combo run you should try Mortuary in this deck. Just sacrifice a nontoken Lhurgoyf to something like Greater Good or Altar of Dementia, Mortuary will put the creature on top of the library and repeat when Disa puts him right back into play when its discarded or milled!

    • @Knightfall8
      @Knightfall8 5 месяцев назад +3

      came here to also suggest Mortuary. It can serve as a wincon too, as long as you stack it properly and use altar. With a regular goyf and a changeling (like a 2/2 or w/e), you can sac the smaller goyf to altar targeting yourself, hold priority to sac the normal goyf to mill an opponent, then let the stack resolve. After the dust settles you have your two goyfs back and you get to repeat the cycle.
      You dont have to do this with a smaller goyf i.e. changeling, but it was the easiest way to demonstrate the combo without incorporating a bunch of math into a youtube comment thread.

    I think the “myriad” effect of anduril is wrong. Disa says “whenever one or more creatures”, if im not wrong, that means you only can create one tarmo token per combat

    • @TheChivi91
      @TheChivi91 5 месяцев назад

      My bad here. If you hit different opponents in the same combat you will create same amount of tarmo tokens equal to the opponents dealt damage this way, you're rigth, my apologies!

    I've been slowly improving my Slimefoot and Squee deck over the last year off and on. (I don't play a ton so...)
    As much as I love the commander, the sapproling token requirement can get tricky at times. Especially after a board wipe.
    Since both that and this commander are JUND colors, should I convert slimefoot to this?

    • @riggs142

    No Filth + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth? Making all lands swamps and giving your creatures swampwalk is a solid play. Asceticism is another great bit of protection, and Eldrazi Monument should be an autoinclude in any token making deck.

  • @mfmageiwatch

    A standard pod has 3 opponents not 4, so 9 not 12 each time you were talking about bloodthirster goyfs and/or foodchain mana.

    • @decktechsfordecks
      @decktechsfordecks  5 месяцев назад

      I did misspeak there but you do still get 4 combats with bloodthirster. This means as long as we have anger in the graveyard we can net 12 more goyfs.

    It's janky, but I'm gonna stick Iname, Death Aspect in the deck, With Maskwood Nexus and Disa out, you just play every creature in the deck at once. Pyrogoyf will then lay a serious beatdown.

    Me, building the deck myself right now, wondering what fancy cheap evasive creatures you might have found.
    Oh.. literally none... ok =((

    • @Aeonblade10
      @Aeonblade10 5 месяцев назад +1

      Dauthi/shadow creatures are cheap unblockables for mostly 2 mana. Tormented Soul is a 1/1 unblockable for 1 black, and Changeling Outcast is another 1/1 unblockable for 1 black with Changeling, so great addition to the theme.

    I read somewhere that ashes of the fallen would not work. The creature isn’t a lhurgoyf until it is in the graveyard, so entering the graveyard it is its other natural creature types only and would not trigger Disa.

    • @decktechsfordecks
      @decktechsfordecks  5 месяцев назад

      There’s a lot of people saying it doesn’t work siting zask interactions but disa is unique. she doesn’t require the stack to reanimate the creature so the same thing that stops zask doesn’t apply here. Ive asked several judges and they agree the interaction works 😁

  • @Caslu1986
