      @@lamaking5956Depends on how you scale the Buu saga. High Ball for top tiers are universal level(Buuhan about to collapse the universe, Kid Buu about to destroy Grand and Supreme Kai’s planet which could possibly be infinite in size, and Vegito who was the strongest character at the time) with the low ball being low multi-solar system level. More recent feats put Saitama at either multi-solar system to multi-galactic. So enough to dominate conservative estimates but not take on the higher interpretations of Z. DBS is straight up out of the question. Universal+ was the baseline when Goku nearly wiped out a cosmic construct with multiple universal sized dimensions(possibly infinitely sized) just by punching really, really hard.

    No way Omniman is getting past Nappa. This is the same guy that reduced an entire city to a pile of dirt simply by raising his two fingers after just waking up from a year long nap. The explosion was even visible from space.

      Omniman is definitely getting past Nappa, a meat head too dumb for his own good. He still cannot level an entire city by flying and since it is a weak human city it doesn't help him. Viltrumites get their guts ripped out of their bodies and live, saiyans do that they die. It's a wrap plus Viltrumites can survive in space that Saiyans cannot.

      Vegeta isn’t dense he’s just reinforcing his body with ki. Machines/robots frames are actually hard for Ki users to damage. The strongest of which is the living machine magma thing for the tournament of power arc but other examples are the RR army armored Mechs from the Original Dragon Ball and Cooler’s droids (I left out the androids because they all use ki). Omni Man’s body is far more resilient to damage than anything made on earth so he scales fairly high in resiliency. Ki blast make it easy to take out planets, no need to tank the planets core which is insanely hot and dense, doing it with your bare hands is an insane feat (even if it was a shared one). Goku was burn by lava in the Namek arc, Cooler was killed by the sun in seconds, and Vegeta died as a result of earth getting destroyed by Frieza, since he’s survived in low oxygen environments before it had to be the blast that killed him. Omni man will die to a planet buster as well but survived nuke lvl damage and only got a nose bleed so basic ki blasts aren’t an issue and he’s not the type to let someone as powerful as Vegeta power up or charge up his attacks. He doesn’t play by the anime rules. Him killing his flash means he can defeat faster opponents as well. He could take out Vegeta until after the Frieza arc since Vegeta never gained the insane speed boost Goku got until after the Cooler Revenge Movie.

Weaker ki blast still have power but are used more to drain the opponents ki. When their Ki is weak or guard is down even Bulma can hurt them. Without proper ki control, Ginyu was weakened immensely in Goku’s body. Friezes during the Namek Saga was the only exception to the rule, he can survive the destruction of a planet due to his insane durability even with almost no Ki and cut into a quarter, and doesn’t need oxygen in space. Omni Man body is closer to Frieza when it come to his durability,just not to that extreme. He’s ability to resist damage in the extremes for a prolonged periods of time, even if his guards down survive crazy damage from a laser blast that was about mountain lvl and be fine (a super weak laser almost killed Goku when he wasn’t wasn’t paying attention), and he still can fight with organs/body parts missing.

If he goes for the Great Ape form, then it's GGs anyway (even when he is hardcapped at 4000 -> 40000, but I think it would be out of character). 711 trillion pounds of TNT? Now someone could correct if I’m wrong but I believe that’s only a “measly” 322.5 gigatons. That’s nowhere near enough to kill Vegeta who durability scales far above Piccolo’s casual vaporization of the moon which is in the exatons(quintillions of tons of TNT)
    Now I personally think Omni-Man is stronger than this but outside of his speed he doesn’t have much going for him so in terms of raw power I’d say he struggles with Raditz, likely loses to Nappa, and breaks his arm trying to punch Vegeta

  • @Crow_Rising
    @Crow_Rising 10 месяцев назад +6

    The thing about the comparison, like many other comparisons, is that Dragon Ball and Invincible are two very different series that work under very different rulesets regarding strength feats, and are subject to artistic intent rather than an intentional consistency regarding power scaling even in their own series. Basically, a planet level feat in one series doesn't necessarily equate to a planet level feat in another series, and not all feats are indicative of the actual power a character is capable of as many of these are outliers made for "rule of cool" moments rather than meant to be taken seriously. This can make it really hard to do accurate comparisons for characters between different franchises.
    My personal speculation however is that Nolan could in fact beat Nappa and Vegeta, but would get stomped on Namek. My reasoning is that characters in DBZ buff their durability through the usage of ki control, and also use the same ki control to buff their physical attacks. They're not using the actual strength and durability of their bodies, and so when caught off guard can be injured or killed as easily as any ordinary human, such as when Goku got shot by a laser pistol in the RoF Saga in early Super. Considering the speeds Nolan is capable of moving at (he can reach whole other galaxies in under a week, so definitely MFTL) it should be entirely possible for him to simply speed blitz Nappa and Vegeta before they have a chance to defend themselves.
    However, he's going to encounter problems on Namek, especially in regards to Freeza. Freeza is a mutant and natural prodigy who became the strongest (or potentially second strongest, after his father) mortal being in the universe without ever so much as a single day of training in his life up to that point in time. He's a monstrous and terrifying presence who many have tried to kill and none have even come remotely close, so it's safe to say that regardless of outward appearances his guard is never truly down. Simply attempting to speed blitz him isn't going to work for a quick, cheap kill and he's physically powerful to such a sheer degree that Nolan just frankly does not stand a chance regardless of how feats are scaled. Freeza's power level is so many times higher than Vegeta's was in the Saiyan Saga that it's frankly quite unhinged. Vegeta was introduced at 18,000, by far the highest power level in the series up to the point of his introduction. Freeza on the other hand at his strongest ranks in at a power level of 120,000,000. It's such a massive and absurd leap that it's hard to even comprehend it.

    • @dreemurrprince
      @dreemurrprince 4 месяца назад +1

      I’m not so confident about him speedblitzing vegeta, as its said especially in DBS that vegeta almost ALWAYS has his guard up. It would require you to have a fully off guard vegeta at the start of the fight, which is just kinda a handicap at that point. Even at half his power he’d be able to take a few hits, as nolan would at best be 1/3 planet level, MAYBE half, while some statements put full planet level at 10000. Which would mean that even buffing omni man up to full planet level and vegeta at half his power, he’s still only marginally stronger than vegeta with a 10k to 9k measure. Vegeta has also shown to be able to tank attacks for an extended period of time that surpass him greatly, such as him tanking the x4 kaioken kamehameha (almost twice his power at 32,000) and coming out of it mostly alright. Nolan’s likely not getting past vegeta

    • @Crow_Rising
      @Crow_Rising 4 месяца назад

      @@dreemurrprince Roshi could blow up the moon when he only had a power level of about 100 back in the original DB. If we assume the moon is about one tenth the size of the earth and apply the logic that things don't scale up evenly and that you need exponentially more energy to blow up larger things (the square cube law), it makes sense that it could require 100 times the power level to blow up the earth compared to the moon, which would put the minimum at somewhere around 10,000.
      Comparatively speaking, Raditz is at a level of about give or take ~1000 to 2000 when he arrives on Earth. Nappa is at around ~4000, and Vegeta is at about ~18,000. This means that out of the three, Vegeta's the only one with enough power to utterly destroy the Earth if the previous calculation is correct, though the others could probably still do some serious damage.
      As we know Nolan is not planetary, attributing him a DBZ power level (which technically isn't correct since he wouldn't have ki) would probably place him somewhere in the same ballpark as Raditz and Nappa as opposed to Vegeta, so he's definitely going to be disadvantaged.
      However, we do learn throughout the series that much of what the Saiyans believed about power levels in the early parts of Z in which the concept was introduced was actually propaganda perpetuated by Freeza and his father to help prevent them from having to deal with uprisings against them. The lies are generally founded on basic truths, but are meant to make warriors believe that it's completely futile to put up any resistance. For instance, one such lie is that you are born with your power level and it never changes, something that gets debunked many times over through the course of the series. Another of these lies is that whoever has a higher power level always wins a fight, one that many fans still believe to this day despite it being debunked in the very first fight in DBZ in which Goku and Piccolo are able to team up to defeat the stronger Raditz, something that wouldn't have even been necessary if Goku had been more proactive about using Raditz's tail as his weak spot.
      This ties into my reasoning regarding Nolan potentially being able to speed blitz Vegeta; Yes Vegeta has a high power level and yes he tends to always have his guard up, but destructive power doesn't equate to defensive durability as the way ki control works requires fighters to actively raise their ki shields to defend against attacks. Vegeta would need to know there was an attack coming to defend against it, and since Nolan's speed isn't connected to power level like it would be for DBZ fighters he's able to move at speeds much, much faster proportional to his strength compared to them. It should be more than possible for him to attack an on guard Vegeta with enough force to kill him before he has a chance to defend against the attack, as Nolan would be moving at speeds too fast for Vegeta's enhanced senses to register in time, let alone move into a defensive posture before impact. He'd be catching Vegeta "off guard" in the sense that he wouldn't specifically be on guard against his attack.
      Granted, this would require a sneak attack. Because of Vegeta's enormous power, he should be more than capable of keeping his defenses up sufficiently to block anything Nolan could do if he is able to predict it ahead of time. Effectively, if Vegeta's knows about Nolan as a potential threat, it's over. Trying to take the chance to make a dramatic entrance instead of going straight for the kill shot would give Vegeta a massive advantage, dooming Nolan. It really boils down to how likely it is for Nolan to attempt a speed blitz right off the bat rather than trying to look intimidating, giving his presence away.
      Freeza, like I mentioned before, is a whole different beast however. The leap in power from Saiyan Saga Vegeta to Namek Saga Freeza is truly absurd. His power level is so high that even at the speeds Nolan could move Freeza should be able to defend against it, and even if he couldn't he'd probably just tank the attack regardless since his ki shield would be so absurdly strong that such an attack wouldn't even require a defensive posture to defend against. It would be like when Hercule was punching Cell and doing no damage. There's really nothing Nolan could do against such a terrifying opponent.

Unless he’s being entirely sneak attacked without any forewarning (even then I doubt vegeta would go completely down below half his power at any given moment before the android saga when he BEGAN to chill out) he’s still STUPIDLY durable. Even though Vegeta had a smaller advantage against Cui (24k to 18k) than the X4 had on him (32k to 18k) he was still pretty okay even after being stuck in the attack for an extended period of time, while Cui was completely vaporized. Unless Nolan gives him the red rush treatment I just don’t see any reasonable way for him to do any significant amount of damage.

    • @Crow_Rising
      @Crow_Rising 4 месяца назад

      @@dreemurrprince Cui's problem was that Vegeta had ample time to raise his ki barrier. They had a conversation before their fight even started, and so there was no hope for Cui to bypass Vegeta's defenses from the start. Even if he had managed to get a sneak attack in though, because of how speed works for Dragon Ball fighters he wouldn't have been able to get as much of a boost from it as Nolan could.
      Nolan's speed isn't tied to anything like ki, so he's just simply capable of extremely fast movements that completely dwarf anything Vegeta would be capable of at this time. He can reach distant galaxies in mere weeks if not days, and does demonstrate the ability to use this speed in combat in some circumstances, using it to ignite the atmosphere and destroy whole cities just by blitzing through them. As such, he's entirely capable of speeds that would allow him to attack Vegeta with lethal force before he could raise his ki barriers to heighten his durability, as even his heightened senses from his power level wouldn't be able to perceive it coming. He'd be dead before he even knew Nolan was there.
      While just having a higher power level in general does somewhat boost durability for fighters in Dragon Ball, it's not as effective when it's not intentionally manipulated in such a way as to specifically block an incoming attack. Furthermore, these defenses are mostly effective at countering other ki users, either their ki blasts or their ki enhanced melee attacks. Simple explosive devices such as the bombs planted within Android 16 or more recently Cell Max are stated to be capable of killing the Z Fighters despite being well under planetary in damage potential. Nolan would be plowing into Vegeta at massively faster than light speeds beyond his comprehension without any assistance from ki, so without being able to specifically raise his defenses against it in time Vegeta shouldn't be able to survive simply due to the sheer magnitude of kinetic energy slamming into him.
      In all honesty I'd have more confidence on this working on Freeza too if not for just how ridiculously powerful and durable he is due to being a mutant with a power level reaching well into the millions. Even if he does somehow take massive damage such as being chopped in half or into tiny bits, the individual pieces of him are still capable of staying alive and he can recover from being pieced back together or receiving bionic replacements. The odds of Nolan being able to inflict that much damage on Freeza are miniscule however considering the sheer magnitude of his power level and therefore his enhanced senses. Even at Nolan's speeds, it's not so unthinkable that Freeza could successfully see such a surprise attack coming and defend against it, or even just dodge it entirely, or counter it with a lethal attack of his own such as a death beam or a simple punch.

    I'm fairly sure planet Vegeta is commonly considered to be 10x the size of Earth but in order to have 10x the gravity of Earth, it would have to be close to 5000x Earth's size. There's a scene of King Vegeta, don't remember if it's filler or not, where he destroys several planets of indeterminate size simultaneously by simply lifting his arm and Vegeta is 80% stronger than him by the time we first see him fight. Planet Vlltrum is about 2x the size of Earth.
    If Roshi can destroy the moon at the low hundreds of power levels, Radditz is 15x that so he should, in theory, be able to destroy planets larger than Earth since power levels in the early stages seemed to be linear and Earth is only 4x the size of the moon. Radditz also dodged a light-speed attack while in Earth's atmosphere and it was unaffected, so while Nolan is definitely capable of moving MUCH faster than light, he tends not to when in a planet's atmosphere since it would leave nuclear explosions in his wake. Radditz also tanked blasts from Piccolo, who by this point was MUCH stronger than Roshi and probably planetary in his own right.
    So, Radditz is capable of dodging light-speed attacks while in an atmosphere (for some reason), capable of destroying a planet at LEAST the size of Earth, and durable enough to be unaffected by attacks coming from people that are also capable of destroying Earth. Omni-Man caps out somewhere before Radditz and I doubt Thragg or end-of-series Mark do much better. They certainly don't make it to Vegeta.

    711 trillion pounds of tnt is only 1.35 quintillion kilojoules of force. That is a tiny, tiny, tiny, TINY fraction of the force required to outright detonate a planet. Vegeta doesn't even need to use his max 18k power level to destroy a planet, and even if he did need to, he survives being hit by a Kaioken x4 Kamehameha. The Kamehameha is a strong blast on its own, and it overpowers Vegeta's full power Galick Gun; he gets off of the Kamehameha after being hit directly by it without much in the way of obvious injury. But the blast was still attempting to carry him out to space, it didn't outright detonate and do full damage, so it's reasonable to assume he survived at least an *_equal_* attack with no consequential injury. In DBZ, a character's offensive capability is by and large proportional to their defensive capability.
    I feel like if that's as hard as Omni-Man hits, using raw force, he would practically bounce off of Vegeta.

Sure, he does become stronger and faster over the course of the series, but to say that he has faster than light reflexes or can even move faster than life yet still have difficulties fighting other humans is just ridiculous.
      I prefer interpreting things like dodging light attacks in a different way: like he sees the guy pointing the gun and tightening his fingers on the trigger, so he is quick enough to dodge the direct line of the gun, but he's never faster than light. He reacts to the movements of the human, not to light itself. When he's fighting he's hyper aware of his surroundings and has very good reflexes. That's enough to dodge light attacks without being faster than light.
      A lot of the moon destroying and planet busting scenes are just filler that the show created, but they're nowhere to be found in the manga. If you watch DBZ Kai, which is a more accurate portrayal of the manga, you won't see any planet busting until late in the Buu saga.

    My theory is Master roshi can blow up a moon because of his pure mastery and control of ki. It has been shown that even with similar power levels, ki beams can varie in power. This is proven when goku used his kamehameha against raditz and his power level over doubled. Another example his vegeta upgrading his final flash to his final shine attack which is stated to be a better version of final flash which directly contradicts that ki beams are equal in strength. Master roshi's moon buster power might be because it didn't take him 50 years to learn it, he said that it took him 50 years to perfect so he might have learned it much earlier and dedicated his time to mastering it which creates his pure and perfected kamehameha which toriyama states himself is the purest and most powerful version of the kamehameha (ignoring power levels and off-shoots). His power could be shooting up 5 6 or hell even 8 fold when he uses it. Which is similar to the destructive power of piccolos beam destroying the moon even though piccolo is far stronger than master roshi at this point. A power level of 600-900 could be enough to destroy the moon for all we know.

    I have thought this through myself. If we compare Nappa's 2 finger city destroyer with the space beam sattelite, it would at least give Omni-man a nose bleed. If Nappa could hit him with a ki-charged fist, that might do some damage but Omni-man is too fast for that, plus Nappa is pretty crazy. Though when calm, he could put up a good fight. However, Nappa, while being huge, can dodge very quickly. We saw him fight 1 v 6 when Krillin and Piccolo did the dividing technique (while Omni-man almost died beating the Guardians of the Globe). Then there is the question of how durable the Saiyan armor is. We know Vegeta can punch through the ones worn by the Frieza Force such as Zarbon and Qui. But that was after some zenkais. While Goku Kaioken x3 did not break it with a full force punch. Omni-man can crack a mountain, we have seen that.
    Ok, now onto Vegeta. Some things to note here. Omni-man is a veteran soldier, who trained against people of similar level. Whereas, Vegeta never really had any rivals beside Qui and most of his fights were pretty easy. Though it was suggested, they might need Raditz and Kakarot for some planet. Vegeta can fight, clearly but he is more warrior than soldier or martial artist. Vegeta's ki-laced punches would outright kill Omniman but he could take some regulare hits. His speed is again a huge factor here. He might out speed Vegeta. But can he dodge ki-blasts? If not, he is dead meat. And then there is the Oozaru form, which he could only fight if say he got into it's mouth and attacked from the inside (mouth beam is a problem tho). I doubt he could cut the tail by hand, he could maybe blind him flying at his eyes.
    So maybe, he could out speed Vegeta and do some damage to him. I could see that happening. However, the Ginyu Force would be too much for him. Burter and Jeice would be about as fast as he is, Recoome is too damn sturdy (but leaves himself open), Guldo = xP (he can't slow him down enough) GInyu could kill him though. He might consider taking the body, since it lives so long and has advantages. But that's about it. Frieza would eat him in his First Form easy.

    Few things that you might reconsider, Nappa has indeed a power level of 4000 but when Vegeta tells him to calm down and take on Goku for real, his power surges to about 7500. He then goes toe to toe with Goku who is just over 8000 (9000 is a dub error). Goku then states this fight could drag on forever. Which is why he used the Kaioken as a quick multiplier to finish of Nappa quickly and catch him of guard. Besides that if Nappa has a moon available (I don’t know if he can create an artificial one like Vegeta) his power will increase tenfold. And he probably too can control his oozaru transformation. While Nappa’s battle IQ might not be that high I seriously doubt Omni man could stop a Nappa with a potential powerlevel of 80.000 max. Recoome is only a 40.000 and you saw how he slapped around an even stronger Vegeta. Even if he manages to beat Nappa, Vegeta stops him easily with a max power level of 180.000 up his sleeve. Nappa _can_ desroy planets. even radditz can. hence Saibamen also can. the PL of 10.000 statement is what it is. a statement. but a statement, which is proven false by feats and scaling, so it doesn't hold much water to anything. ALSO don't forget that Earth is a small planet. it's likely that the PL of 10.000 statement also only applies for medium or big sized planets. and planets in Dragonball are ginormous compared to our universe. Jupiter. a huge planet close to being a brown dwarf has gravity of 2,5G. Planet Vegeta for example has a gravity of 10G. so it's MASSIVLEY bigger than Jupiter, what we consider very big our world
    since Omniman's best feat is below planetray in DB he'd be around moon busting Piccolo lvl in strenght wise.
    HOWEVER! speed. Omniman is too fast... way too fast for early DBZ... he may not be able to properly damage a saibaman. but he will just outspeed any Saiyan Saga character. or even any frieza saga character. hell, any Cell saga character even. he won't beat them by punching them, but... he can just... outlive them. how climactic. though Goku could prolly do something with his instant transmission.
    omniman crashing into Vegeta woudn't do shit, either

    Omni man is definitely planetary and even if he was one of three to destroy a planet he was pulling his load which is still far more than any saiyan.
    Flying through a planet is different from blowing it up with energy which anyone can do in DB past a certain point so it isn't special anymore. The former is way more impressive.
    Omniman would make it past Vegeta and Nappa, the latter is too dumb and the former needed a moon to beat his opponents plus he's arrogant and doesn't have thousands of years of experience fighting enemies.

    Its hard to scale characters from different shows due to the difference on how power works and how closely each show obeys the real laws of physics. For example, in dragonball, they consistenly move faster than sound and yet never never cause a sonic boom. It seems like Invincible is a little more strict with this type of thing. Also, in dragonball, typically but not always, strength and speed go up proportionally to eachother with a character's power. Dyspo, Burter, Guldo, Hit etc are outliers in this.
    The best way to do this, is a range. At worst, Omniman is Raditz level. At best Omniman is Namek saga level. We can average that to between Nappa and Vegeta, which is what you said basically. Anyways, just a longwinded way to say I agree lol

      He compares him to the villains from the beginning of the Dragon Ball Z saga, the weakest in terms of pure power in the "Dragon Ball Z" universe and after the "Sayans arc" of which he speaks, Vegeta sees his power multiplied by 'infinite via all the struggles he will experience. Before the Dragon Ball Z saga there are already characters from the "Dragon ball" saga who can destroy the moon and they are so weak that Raditz could kill them with one finger and it is the weakest in the sayans saga. Basically, omni-man would just stand against Raditz the weakest of the sayans and would surely beat him, against Nappa in my opinion he could beat him but at the cost of his own life and i'm not sure... Omniman is absurdly faster than everything short of the Buu saga.
    The problem is that he's way below in terms of durability and physical power, and Viltrumites can punch above their endurance limit, meaning, chances are that Omniman would squish his arms by punching Vegeta, and the moment he's caught with a single hit, he's done for.
    We also know that while his speed of flight in a straight line is absolutely insane, he doesn't necessarily have the ability to fight at those speeds, as seen from the fact that he can't just instantly nope every threat he faces by speedblitzing it. Though of course part of that is comic book writers having no sense of the scale of space, a common problem in comic book scaling because you get absurd shit like a character that can't react in time to stop a bullet lapping the entire universe in seconds.

    Kind of like comparing Apples and Oranges. Having said that I could see Omni man going up against SSJ 1 Goku. This is super weird because of all the plot issues. A freaking gun took down a surprised Goku when he fought Freiza in blue form. A normal gun.... BUT then again a lower level character blew up a moon with his turtle attack. So again this is hard to define. Dragon Ball Z has a lot more cartoon stuff as well. Things like the wives hitting their husbands when they are mad and them getting "hurt", but on the high end they are crazy powerful. This is why I am putting Omni Man around SSJ 1. That is when I see Goku going to an entire new level, and Omni man is suppose to be on par with Superman, per the writer, so that sounds about right.

    Omni-Man had to get help to break a planet. King Vegeta has about 1/2 the power of Prince Vegeta and destroys 3 planets at once. At VERY most Omni-Man MIGHT be in the ballpark of Nappa but Vegeta is sneezing that pest away with contemptuous ease.
    Kakarot going across Snake Way is entirely irrelevant. As Batman said, "Who is faster, Usian Bolt or Bruce Lee?" when correcting Superman on this very point. Even as a kid Kakarot demonstrated he was much faster than light in combat, so fast in fact God himself couldn't keep up with him (Back when Kami was literally "God" before all the Kais were introduced). You MIGHT be able to spin some things to get Omni-Man near the ballpack of Raditz, but considering Red Rush had him looking stupid and he can't even remotely compare to even Kid Krillin this isn't a contest.
    The Tsar Bomb is worth roughly 57 megatons, so 7,116 would be 405,612 MT. To shatter the Moon like Master Roshi you'd need around 30,000,000,000,000 megatons while the Earth would take 110,000,000,000,000,000 megatons. This isn't even close to being enough to bother Prince Vegeta.
