Thanks for this. Can you speak to the monitor set up? I have an ev 30 and need a floor wedge. Is yours powered? What brand is it? It looks to be about the right size for me. Which channel is it plugged in to in the back? Thanks man!

You're welcome! The floor monitor is a QSC CP8 and yes it is powered. I hear a lot of acoustic solos and duos use them as mains but I bought mine in 2019 strictly as a floor monitor and still use it for that - light and small. I would also use a Yamaha DBR10 for a floor monitor.
It is connected to the aux out on the back of the 30M. I don't do any separate monitor mixes as I want to hear exactly what the crowd hears.
Hope this helps. If you have any other questions let me know!

Even though you want to hear the same mix that people here out front, is there a separate volume for the floor monitor?

Yes there is. The quickest way to adjust it would be if you use the app - you can adjust it separately from there.

My question is why doesn't microphone vocals go to a second speaker via mix out? Only music seems to work.
    Thanks for any answers!

Yeah that is weird. My first thought was were you using the aux out and maybe you did not have the vocal channel to the aux out. But if it's via the mix out like you indicated I would have no idea why. I have tried my mix out and it worked fine but when I run a floor monitor I use the aux out and that works fine as well.

@JHGurganus thanks so much for the reply. I tried both. Neither worked. Does the mix out have any settings for vocals?
Well, I just got it, so I think I just need more time to play with it. Overall, I'm very happy with it, but the main reason I got is for all the microphone inputs as I host house parties where usually 4 people want to sing at the same time, and I want everyone to have their own mic.
But at larger venues, I will need that extra speaker with vocals going to both.
      I appreciate your videos!
