Andy I was really impressed with the grip from this setup, not once did it struggle for traction, the tires really confirmed nicely around the rocks, just wish they would make some silicone inserts for this size. It conquered that double hill on my mountain, like it wasn't even there!! I was definitely quite surprised. I will definitely be adding some new and more difficult features to the course over the next few months. I'm so glad you enjoyed this build Andy. I'm going to be building another one, but hopefully the next video will be even better. 😅

I'm pretty sure it will be easy to sort out and get them to work. Which would be great to get that extra weight on the front of this truck.

Andy I have got a thing for stripes on my cars!! And I had been looking for some really good transfer tape!! And I finally found some nice rolls on AliExpress. They are not vinyl but some kind of paint that actually transfers onto the car!! So once you got them on they ain't coming off anytime soon!! Funny enough that's exactly how I like it on my real cars! Just the two stripes on one side of the vehicle! 😅 When I get a chance I'll share some pictures to you on Facebook 🤪 You are going to laugh at the stuff that we drive in Portugal!

Bro that was the easiest I've ever got up that double hill on my mountain!! It didn't spin the wheel it just crawled all the way up!! And by the waterfall I was amazed that it actually got up that steep piece!! That's like 65° and it didn't slip once!! I'll definitely tell you I am very impressed!! Need to add a little bit more weight up front, so I'm going to fit this counterweights on the new Knuckles and if I've got to grind a bit for them to work, I don't care!! But I need that extra 30 g up front. I'm probably also going to buy some brass rings for the rims, so I can put two in the front. I've even got a name for this rig! Blue Dragon!! Just because of the way it moves over the rocks 😅🤣

Bro when I started building the river for my course, I was always wondering if I was making a mistake!! But it's now been there for 3 years and still in pretty good condition. I'm definitely going to dedicate some work to it this year and try and finish it off, and of course try to make it even better. One of my favorite crawlers from 2023!! The trail Hunter Evo pro V2 It just makes it so much fun having that two speed transmission. All I've done to mine is some oil shocks, and some brass rims and tires from Injora!! And it performs so good!! It's my son's favorite!

I totally agree, there's just something special about 6x6, and the way it moves is just incredible! I was surprised at how much articulation I managed to get out of the rear axle. Yeah bro the super Mario Van is still one of my favorite! I love the way that paint job turned out. And super Mario just has a special place in my heart. I used a 1080 G2 in my build so I can adjust the drag brake on the fly, so I can trail with it without a drag brake, but when it comes up to a crawling section I can turn the drag brake up to where I need it on the transmitter

Man!! This video was so insightful and beyond helpful!!! I did the frame rails and axle combo. Doing everything else of my choosing. Going with Df/Bc rear links in the front for some stretch. Df/Bc front links for the second axle to keep it short since I had to flip the center plate around which put my transmission and motor backwards but still building. I ended up putting Ht rear links on my third axle to stretch her out. My goal is 1.55 proline swampers on her. My 1st and 3rd axle are steering axles. I'd love your help/imput on motor. Heard about the hobbywing 1/16 motor but needs major mods for it to fit. Also love how you did the links for the third axle to give them the same angles from inside to out. I'm just scared about my 2nd to 3rd axle and rotation if it'll be the right way but I'll cross that road when I get there. What are your thoughts on the laying down servo?

Hi Peter, like I mentioned all the items used in the ir40 build, is in the description of the video. If you have any trouble finding it let me know, as I can always send you an email, with all the items and a link to them. Sadly enough they don't make a kit! But it is simple enough to just go through the items on their site and of course pick up all the items needed to do the build. That's how I do it.

Awesome!!! I have a question: on the injora whels..I bought some 1.9 injora wheels and injora tires for my 1/10 toyota FMS truck..but I had an issue or maybe I thought it was and need some help. When I connected the back wheel piece on the beadlock 1.9 wheels it didn't click all the way in..and the screws were to away from the hole..I was using hex driver not the electric screw driver..the people at injora said I would have to push harder to add it and make it work..but in reality I felt as it was to much of a struggle and I thought it was easier to do. What you think?😢 I really like the injora 1.9 wheels but I'm afraid. Any help will be great!!
Thanks bro, I haven't put together any 1.9 rims of this type, but I can't see them being very different. I find that some of their rims, have one specific way of going together. So when assembling, make sure you rotate the inner pieces until you find the best fit, and it is going to require a better force to get everything squeezed down to tighten up. Often they provide two longer screws so that you can pull the beads together. I never use an electric screwdriver or drill to tighten anything!! You can use them to pull it together, but never use them to tighten. I have had some really tough ones to put together!! So you are going to need to use a bit of force. I will order a set soon, so I can assemble them on a video.

Thank you bro, the bed was supposed to say Toyota on the back but with the rush 3D RC made a mistake with the lettering So if you notice I have got a sticker over it! As I did mention individual it's only a prototype and I will be printing the final product once it is ready.
I am really impressed with the way it turned out!! Performs extremely well!! it's like that hill wasn't even there!! All my other Trx4m's struggle on that double hill climb! This is the first time I get to test the 370 motor and transmission with the MB 100!! And I've got to say I am really impressed, plenty off torque not as much speed as I was expecting!! Can't wait to get some 3s batteries to test 💯💯💯
@@leetitiii hi bro, and thank you. So far everything seems to be pretty good quality! From the transmission that came with this chassis, to the axles! The axles are nice and smooth and have metal gears throughout.
@@leetitiii yes real bearings NOT BUSHINGS THE AXLES ARE FULL BRASS, THE FRONT AXLE I REPLACED WITH AN ALUMINUM AXLE, ALL THE AXLES HAVE METAL BALL BEARINGS, METAL SHAFT AND METAL GEARS! THE CHASSIS IS ALUMINUM. EVERYTHING YOU SEE ON THIS TRUCK, IS SOLID AND MADE TO LAST.
I am running the 370 motor with the reduction gears from Injora. Seems to work really good on this rig, hopefully I will have my hands on a 3s battery within the next week, so I can finally test the mb100 on a 3s battery! The original ECM is not a bad product, and I really like the way it's got three preset functions that you can change through, and of course the fact that it's got the function to run the pro light kit is awesome! But comparing it to the mb100 or the MB 80, the slow crawl is way better with the injora ESC and it's definitely got more power going to the servo. And besides that it is so quiet compared to the original ECM. On some of my trucks I have kept the original ECM. I've got nothing bad to say about it but if you want more performance and a smoother crawl I definitely recommend the MB80 or MB100

@@hoanghg88 indeed the shocks that came with his chassis were not great!! Even though I've opened them multiple times, to try and get them to move smoothly! For some reason they just lock up when they feel like it. I have changed them out for the injora shocks, and I've got to say what a difference.

It's a lot of fun to have a river that can be dry or running depending on what you want to do that day.

All I've done to mine is some oil shocks, and some brass rims and tires from Injora!! And it performs so good!!

I used a 1080 G2 in my build so I can adjust the drag brake on the fly, so I can trail with it without a drag brake, but when it comes up to a crawling section I can turn the drag brake up to where I need it on the transmitter

Man!! This video was so insightful and beyond helpful!!! I did the frame rails and axle combo. Doing everything else of my choosing. Going with Df/Bc rear links in the front for some stretch. Df/Bc front links for the second axle to keep it short since I had to flip the center plate around which put my transmission and motor backwards but still building. I ended up putting Ht rear links on my third axle to stretch her out. My goal is 1.55 proline swampers on her. My 1st and 3rd axle are steering axles. I'd love your help/imput on motor. Heard about the hobbywing 1/16 motor but needs major mods for it to fit. Also love how you did the links for the third axle to give them the same angles from inside to out. I'm just scared about my 2nd to 3rd axle and rotation if it'll be the right way but I'll cross that road when I get there. What are your thoughts on the laying down servo?

Sadly enough they don't make a kit!
But it is simple enough to just go through the items on their site and of course pick up all the items needed to do the build.

Awesome!!! I have a question: on the injora whels..I bought some 1.9 injora wheels and injora tires for my 1/10 toyota FMS truck..but I had an issue or maybe I thought it was and need some help. When I connected the back wheel piece on the beadlock 1.9 wheels it didn't click all the way in..and the screws were to away from the hole..I was using hex driver not the electric screw driver..the people at injora said I would have to push harder to add it and make it work..but in reality I felt as it was to much of a struggle and I thought it was easier to do. What you think?😢 I really like the injora 1.9 wheels but I'm afraid. Any help will be great!!
Thanks bro, I haven't put together any 1.9 rims of this type, but I can't see them being very different.
I find that some of their rims, have one specific way of going together.
So when assembling, make sure you rotate the inner pieces until you find the best fit, and it is going to require a better force to get everything squeezed down to tighten up.
Often they provide two longer screws so that you can pull the beads together.
I never use an electric screwdriver or drill to tighten anything!!
You can use them to pull it together, but never use them to tighten.
I have had some really tough ones to put together!! So you are going to need to use a bit of force.
I will order a set soon, so I can assemble them on a video.

I am really impressed with the way it turned out!! Performs extremely well!! it's like that hill wasn't even there!! All my other Trx4m's struggle on that double hill climb!
This is the first time I get to test the 370 motor and transmission with the MB 100!! And I've got to say I am really impressed, plenty off torque not as much speed as I was expecting!!
Can't wait to get some 3s batteries to test 💯💯💯

So far everything seems to be pretty good quality! From the transmission that came with this chassis, to the axles!
The axles are nice and smooth and have metal gears throughout.

THE AXLES ARE FULL BRASS, THE FRONT AXLE I REPLACED WITH AN ALUMINUM AXLE, ALL THE AXLES HAVE METAL BALL BEARINGS, METAL SHAFT AND METAL GEARS! THE CHASSIS IS ALUMINUM.
EVERYTHING YOU SEE ON THIS TRUCK, IS SOLID AND MADE TO LAST.

I am running the 370 motor with the reduction gears from Injora.
Seems to work really good on this rig, hopefully I will have my hands on a 3s battery within the next week, so I can finally test the mb100 on a 3s battery! And I'm very interested to see how the 370 motor and transmission is going to perform on 3s

I want to know how sure you are that this Injora Esc works better than stock Traxxas. Please let me know why.
The original ECM is not a bad product, and I really like the way it's got three preset functions that you can change through, and of course the fact that it's got the function to run the pro light kit is awesome!
But comparing it to the mb100 or the MB 80, the slow crawl is way better with the injora ESC and it's definitely got more power going to the servo.
And besides that it is so quiet compared to the original ECM.
On some of my trucks I have kept the original ECM.
I've got nothing bad to say about it but if you want more performance and a smoother crawl I definitely recommend the MB80 or MB100

I will be swapping them all out for 59mm Injora shocks.

@@hoanghg88 indeed the shocks that came with his chassis were not great!! Even though I've opened them multiple times, to try and get them to move smoothly! For some reason they just lock up when they feel like it.
I have changed them out for the injora shocks, and I've got to say what a difference.
