This is one of the best videos I’ve seen on this subject. Too many trainers train bitework with gunfire and it makes the dogs bite the handler when they draw the gun because of the association. Training to deal with the stress is 100% spot on. Great video

I train my guide dogs for stress levels and for certain situations. I start stress training with a speaker playing whatever noise we're training for, and gradually get louder as the puppy plays. Eventually they're sleeping with the speaker at full volume. Once it's time to go to the train, the dog is already comfortable with the noise, so now we watch the movement and the people while we enjoy a snack. Once they feel comfortable we investigate and maybe take a short ride.
Situational training comes at the top and bottom of steps, at intersections, and with cars trying to run us over. We do this to teach the dog how they should react in those situations so they can effectively communicate with me, and avoid danger.

Could you please consider doing a video on "proofing"

Wow, this applies to a situation I know of. My opinion was based on the same reasoning, but naming things helps make it applicable more widely and ACCEPTED more easily.

Hans, what are your thoughts on single puppy litter? Does that create issues?

How does the dog know whom to bite?

I totally agree, if you condition the dog to a command you can go to the moon and he will understand that he must be alert pozorrrrrr

You can not condition a dog to situations but only judgment
