4 years f2p here. This video is absolutely bonkers lol never thought of the game from this perspective. Best strat for f2p is to consider 14/1 max rank for the first year. Saving each set of 700 dubs you get for free each campaign. Then after a while, you pick and choose the campaigns you want. Took me 4 years but now I'm totally set. The only fancy commander I have is Beapley, which I luckily got out of a free crate. I'd estimate I've played in basic time 75% of all my just under 10k standard battles.
Finally someone made content about this. It’s very hard to get many commendation at first I’ve the idea just like you said max out one commander lv.4 of legendary skill then buy the max commander with CXP. I think this is the best way of guaranteed to buy the universal commendations for now. Don’t need to wait for campaign or creates because don’t forget even you have money to buy doubloons you can’t buy the commendation directly you has to wait for next campaign event reward or buy a create with also to be random anyway Nice video mate. Hope this information gonna help new player out to spend CXP wisely lol
Good video Hipper, but you're mistaken about one thing. When we weren't guaranteed to get a new commander out of the commander crate, duplicates didn't give commendations, they gave 75k commander xp. Because the Legendary ranks hadn't been implemented yet. I know this because I remember buying tons and tons of commander crates trying desperately to get the one commander I wanted, and I ended up with around 8 million commander xp lol
I have played this game for + four years and maxed out only two commanders😂. Extremely time consuming…. Grinding out campaings. It is going to be painful for new players to join in the game, when they get nuked by lvl 16 Legendary 4 commander. It is desing that wargaming promotes and they want you to feel frustrated to make you spend money on commanders. Just to have that extra % damage on the battlefield.
I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere, but what happens to that extra clock timer under the base trait once you reach level 16 legendary 4? Is it another base trait or just nothing? 🙏🏻
So essentially you have to buy the campaigns and you have to get one commander of the legendary for first before you can buy duplicates ? Is that how it work?
Hipper, you forgot to mention that refreshing each Monday in the store, under the Containers tab, there is a 3x commander crate for 10.5 million silver. As long as you earn enough silver over the week this costs you no real money.
Whale here; there is something to be said, "the whale cannot simply wallet warrior his way though. One has to use restraint. Or warrant the risk of going full tbull and spreading the whaledom to thin"...
