"to defeat the enemy, be the enemy" - watching as a submariner because CVs are quite prickly customers for us. (And yes i am also playing every other class and actually have found the Spanish and South American cruisers really fun, plus i am in love with the IJN and USN battleships)
As a main CV player ,whatever rework they got in future i will not stop playing them ,but i will adjust myself to it and seek oportunities to improve myself and develop new strategys!!! I am useing only US CV !!!Thanks a lot for info!!!

I was going to buy Kaga to farm xp, thanks for the tips. X CV torp my ARP YAMATO 3 times and sink it from full health is kind of op (forcing me to group up with others and still no good really). I will do IV and VI CV till better at it first.
I've played wows for years now but have stayed away from CV because a) I hated the early RTS game play and b) Everyone now hates CV's. @i7Qp4rQ 1st sorry for the delayed replies for some reason I'm not getting notified by your specific comments. Just came across this randomly lol. When you're flying, you can press W to speed up and use your boost. You'll see the green bar on the left side of your reticle decrease. When you let go of it, it will slowly fill back up. In the event you want to fill it back up very quickly, you can press R and it will restore it, even giving a few seconds for free. Pressing R will a full green bar stored does nothing. Also, the last gasp captain skill automatically fully restores the green bar when you take control of the last attack group of your current flight group.

I played WoW back many years ago, and I jumped back into it tonight, and holy shit I don't what they hell they were thinking with the aircraft, but I could use them highly effectively before, but now I have no idea WTF is even happening. lol It used to be so intuitive, and now the aircraft just kind of shoot wildly into the water! lol it's so bad now.
Generally means they've given up map control which is good. Usually the blobs don't stay together long and someone is alone. Consider attacking the red CV after pre dropping or making sure the DDs are accounted for
They completely changed them since then, and it looks like they will be changing it again soon. Some CV use different weapons! Lot of things for you to discover :)
The consensus is that your aircraft are still too slow on reaching the safe altitude where they are no longer susceptible to AA and, more specifically, flak. You will lose more aircraft taking that skill from enemy flak overall that it simply isn't worth it.

I rather face a cv than a sub, imagine a shimakaze with no guns, but better concealment, homing torps, infinite smoke (submerging), immune to radar while submerged, and with a fast reload. CVS can spot other CVS, but subs are hard to spot even for other subs
CV s are just cannon fodder . Planes flying 5x faster than ships yet they can turn out even when being dive bombed . For no reason fly eight planes only two attack !!!! never read of that in WW2 . Destroyers can cross battlefield in in two flights of my planes then i am sunk . Assuming you actually do hit Torpedoes have minimal damage . And now you have fuel issue so have 3 min of travel till have too comeback . Nerfed would be understatement .
What CV are you using? That is certainly not the experience I've ever had. Feel free to send a replay and maybe I can help you specifically with what you're seeing!
When you aquire the CV, you should look at it in Port. First you need to take note of how much it initially cost you, because once you now right click it, and sell it, it'll sting but you did the right thing. Wargaming is not a company developing a game YOU like, they are developing a game they can farm cash. NOTHING will be working, once this is all done, NEW ships that have better stats that you can buy will be made available, thats it. STOP play this class so they can go back to focusing on the broken core game, old ships left behind that arn't even worth owning any more. The old trees slowly being timephased and obsolete. CV's, Submarines, they took away the focus, with those 2 added features, classes, game mechanics, it's like a bunch of clowns coding a world hack over at Wargaming. They both have to go, for the game to survive.
Def one way to look at it. CVs have been here since beta though and the game is world of warships, which CVs are. Have to accept that. New rework is coming though! Let's see what happens.
Carriers can attack anywhere on the map, in an extremely short period of time. They can go 100 wars in a row without even taking damage once if played right. Basically it is a PvE class in a PvE war, you can troll real PvPers all day long w/o ever even having any adrenaline in your body. Basically, if you are the type of player who sucks at pvp where you can take return fire, then CVs are for you.

T4... maybe, T6 CV play is a terrible option, because if you get uptiered to T8 which happens alot.... your going to have a bad day.
Eh, I've had better luck often not getting uptiered when playing T6; Certainly better than playing in T8.

How do you control your cv while steering planes? I saw ppl doing this and wondered how to do it
Pressing M brings up mini map, from where you can click on the map to initiate autopilot to drive to a place

Even in CVs with tactical squadrons? I don't remember who posted a video saying that the detection skill is ok for CVs that run tactical squadrons.
