I know I missed a few things and the game froze (of course) in the middle of the video so obviously not the most perfect product but were going to get better with each and everyone one! If you go to the store and select commanders, you can read each commanders description and it'll tell you what they are best at: destroyers, cruisers, brawling battleships, all-around
Good info, I wish wargaming would include an option to reset commanders, whether paying gold or whatever. I made a lot of stupid choices early on with commander builds.
I saved up 900k to purchase Takagi. I did not realise the game gave you all commanders once a week over time. I received Halsey and Sims in my last 3 weekly commanders which was frustrating. My brother got Sims in his second week of playing. So lucky!
You need to contact WG about using identical commanders skills, individualy. For example; using Lee for my Massachusetts and skill set him for secondary build. I can use Lee on my Iowa, but not set him up for secondary build, but unfortunately, I can't change it without it changing everything else. In general, setting commander skills for 1 ship without changing it for another. That would be very helpful, not to have those skill altering hassles. If u understand what I'm getting at.
As a new player, I would like a video on the commanders most experienced players would not rank up (beyond level 6). I learned the hard way on a few, but when I look at the Italian commanders, I have no idea who is good, bad, or what. I understand who has good inspirations, but I still struggle to understand who to use on which ships. For example, I run Spee on my German destroyers, and really like him, but everyone seems to say Bey is the better option. I just dont want to waste resources ranking up a commander that will ultimately be useless later in my career. As a true wallet warrior, I bought commander crates until I had all of the standard commanders lol. But now im lost.
I love Kinkaid for a maneuverability build on light US cruisers. The rudder shift on my Cleveland is 3.7. So easy to avoid incoming fire while getting shots off and even broadsides shots especially on BB's since their reload is forever.
How can i unlock more commanders without spending doubloons? I really need some for my french destroyers. I have reached tier V destroyers and i dont have any destroyer commanders
Can you reassign commanders once you put them in a ship? I only started playing today it's telling me to assign a commander John Jellicoe I only have T1 and 2 cruisers tho
It really depends man. I love cruisers but you have to play them carefully. American battleships are great for every (tanky with accurate guns) it depends a lot on your play style
I play pretty good with Destroyer but not all Destroyer are fast enough for me, I like the Battleship but certain ships does not have the range any pointers you can give me first week on the game and I'm hook lol
@@BIGMOE007 honestly brother just playing and playing the objectives! Pay attention to your surroundings, try not to give up broadsides in a battleship or a cruiser. It's a very difficult game to master but a ton of fun
Taking one less Salvo or even a single torp hit is worth waaay more than trying to obsessively trying to tweak captain's perks/inspirations/ etc, sounds like you don't, and you even mention it at end..awesome vid tho!
I play American (and German) cruisers more as island hoppers and utilize smoke when I can. Agile/kiting build are definitely an option and I run them mainly on Italian/French/Japanese lines

I run Kinkaid on the US heavy cruisers, primarily to increase the turret traverse to something a little less than abhorrent...speed is nice too...

Its not a bad choice but I try to not get into positions where kiting is needed (right away lol) but can be very useful when needed
Try it on Wichita with 2 seconds rudder shift time. It can go up too 1,5 seconds.

Yes easily, this is not like the PC version you can assign them to any ship and change their skills (not inspirations) ay any time
