Josh really has elevated the interview game--getting people to talk about their own mortality isn't always an easy ask. But the bomb food, and the thought-provoking questions go together like pastrami and chili cheese fries.
I don’t really like to be negative however Gabriel Iglesias is one of my least favorite comedians. Im sure he’s a really great guy but I just can’t get his comedy. I’ll watch this tho for GMM sake.
As someone with a binge eating disorder the power of “I don’t lack the education I lack the motivation” & “I replaced one addiction for another” absolutely hit my heart 😩😩 I love this show
i "eat my feelings" and yes not a lack of education lack of motivation . ive been trying to lose weight for 30+ years . at some point i just accepted that i would never be a size zero , and that a 24 isnt super huge . and after i had my daughter , she stuck around my body , so theres that too lol .
@k7l3rworkman97 You got this I promise. You have to find something that is fun and motivates you when working out. I lived with bulemi* and aneorex*a for 14 years. I struggled with weight my whole life. And I finally just found that weight lifting is the love for working out I've missed. Both physically and mentally (especially mentally)
This show is getting on a whole new level. The guests, the interviews getting so real and deep, the food of course, all of it is just so synergetic and well done.
I'd love it if Seanie Boi came on the Show. I'm sure he eats more than just Chicken Wings, though it wouldn't surprise me if his last meal had something involving that dreaded Last Dab.
I doubt you’ll ever see this, Gabriel, but my husband met you while he was working some years ago and you gave him such a generous donation which made us survive for that month. I wish I could find the photo of you two since it’s been years. My husband passed away earlier this year. I’m really struggling but this episode made me smile, how grateful and happy you are to be alive. (And spam is my childhood food too!!) Much needed, thank you Mythical Kitchen!
By far one of my favourite mythical kitchen eps overall. Gabriel is such a sweet, genuine , hilarious person and I love how much he was enjoying his meals with josh. Just absolutely wholesome and wonderful
They couldn’t have filmed this with me on set. I would have been in the background cry laughing. Gabe is too relatable, down to earth, and hilarious. I’m a fan and I also can see him as the wealthy cousin or something that just wants to be left alone.
them starting the diet coke tower was so cute, i really like the random changes between cuts, like gabriel wearing the napkin bib in prep for the chili bacon wrapped hotdog
Love how honest Gabriel is when asked if he thinks about death. I think we all think about it regularly to a certain extent, it certainly does make you very humble and thankful for the life you have.
I love this show and Hot Ones because they are actual interviews where people can be themselves and answer questions that are not cookie cutter and monotonous.
Yes and they don't surround them with puppies or make them read google questions. They're letting the people have an actual conversation which I think is what fans of their want.
People have many facets and each of them shine with different angles. Give them comfort or give them pain. Hot Ones and Last meal certainly covers extremely opposing sides.
This needs more views. Having people on your show and feeding them their FAVORITE comfort foods is a genius tactic to then ask them questions! They are already in a good mood from the food so the answers are great as well! This deserves to be as big as Hot Ones!
No matter how much weight Gabriel loses, he'll always be "Fluffy." He's so genuine, so real. He understands that humor is a unifying force, and enjoys life that way. I'm just a little surprised there was no chocolate cake.
He is just so sick of it man. It's like he said imagine it being your birthday every day for the last 20 some odd years and you get two cakes a day. Anyone would get tired of that!
Changed my opinion on Iglesias from 'funny guy I see a lot' to genuinely cool dude. Josh, you and your team are doing a great job dissecting people and the questions around death. Such a great series from a group of people who didn't have to work this hard for my devotion. Congrats on producing such killer content that both entertains and enlightens!
I haven’t watched anything with him in it since I was in middle school and watching him now as an adult and seeing him as the person he is and not the ‘funny famous guy’ is such a lovely experience
This is one of the best episodes and not just because it’s Gabriel and he’s great. It’s just how inspirational and profound he can be. He’s one of if not the most relatable guest.
This has been my favorite Last Meals episode. Fluffy was completely honest in his experience with food and Josh was so considerate and respectful. As a fellow Fluffy, I really appreciate it.
Gabriel is legitimately one of the loveliest human beings I have ever listened to. He absolutely never disappointed and just feels like the dad a lot of us never had.
This series has produced some of the most profound, beautiful, and genuine moments. Gabriel is such a genuine and funny dude. While he's one of the most famous glove trodden comedians of all time but at the end of the day, he's such a genuine, real dude who you could just have a conversation with. It's Such a deeply profound show. I love this series so much.
I know I’m the thousandth person to say this here, but Gabriel never ceases to amaze me with his charisma, humility, and authenticity. Been watching his specials since I was in elementary school. Thanks for all the joy, Gabriel!
I legitimately cried watching Josh's reaction to Gabriel describing how this interview was so different from the thousands he's had before. 😭💙 There isn't a day that has passed in nearly 10 years that I haven't watched something Mythical, and this is definitely on the highlight reel. Congratulations, Mythical Kitchen! And thank you!
One of the common things I've noticed in so many other interviews with Fluffy is that he always gets interrupted. Josh did an amazing job with the interview flow and allowing Fluffy to really express himself.
God I love Fluffy so much! Went to his show several years ago in Norway and he stayed almost 2 hours after the show finished just roasting the crowd and doing improv. He even roasted me a few times because I didn't get him a beer from the bar, it was great. Glad to see he's doing well and he looks incredible 🥰
The cut from "I'm going about this strategically cuz i dont want to make a mese. Gonna cut it in half." to just JOSH HORKING IT DOWN. ABSOLUTELY WHEEZING XD
Josh, I cannot describe how happy I am that you got Gabriel on this show. He's my favorite comedian and I've been watching his stuff since I was a kid. This was an awesome episode!
This might literally be my favorite episode of this series to date. Something about someone as joyous as Gabriel Iglesias having such depth in conversation hit real hard. Huge ups to Josh and his crew for what they've created here.
9:50 at first i thought this interviewer was hella weird with his fantasies but then getting to know him more nd more hes respectful and has a sense of humor and knows how to keep a conversation going non stop so it doesnt become boring 10/10 video hope to see more in the future
I agree! He asks the educated questions but doesn’t hide behind professionalism which keeps the interview fun. Two HUMANS speaking and not a robot cranking questions.
The fact that if you actually google just “fluffy” he’s not only the first but the only thing to pop up… wow I’ve never been more proud to be Mexican 🤣
He was first for me. I checked Google images and he was the first six photos, followed by a dog. In fact, it was all Gabriel and dogs except for one Fluffy McWhiskers who was, I'm sad to report, apparently involved in a cuteness explosion.
"Maybe Fluffy doesn't show up to the Club. Maybe it's just Gabe, and Gabe is *PISSED* " I would love to see a dark show, maybe named Dark Side of the Fluff?
As a 30 year old mexican american born and raised in LA, i have known gabriel and his comedy for basically my entire life. Havent seen much of him in a while, but man how can you not love this man. So humble, genuine, kind and just flat out a funny guy This was a great episode!
I love these interviews because josh doesnt just put everything on his guest- he puts his own weird morbid stories in there too to make it an actual conversation
Sitting here in Modesto (literally!) loving this interview. Love you Fluffy….whatever you need to do to be happy, do that. You’ve given so much….its time for you. ❤️
Surely the best episode of this series thus far. Gabriel talks in such a humble, yet experienced, ways and I was captivated the entire time. His happiness and gratefulness and groundedness idk... all of it. I aspire to have a similar mindset and view on happiness.
Seeing two people that are not only so iconic, but were huge inspirations from the moment I saw them the first time. This was really one of my favorite moments in all my years on RUclips. Thank you.
I've been watching this interview daily recently because of just how inspiring it is. The phrase "Bet on yourself" has stuck in my head in the best way possible. ❤
Wow.. You can tell this was a really impactful interview for Fluffy. He was so honest and open. Truly a pleasure to watch and take in his wisdom. Thank you both for one of the the best Last Meals ever.
Josh is the new Sean Evan’s. Really happy this show exists and you guys have been getting the guests you’ve deserved. When I saw Tom Hanks I was blown away. Not that mythical wasn’t already huge but highlighting the kitchen crew and what not has been a great thing to see.
I like Sean Evans but this guy has an edge on him. Sean keeps it professional and sometimes comes across as inauthentic. This guy seems more real to me
can we please take a second to acknowledge how incredible the interview questions are, as well as the accompanying dialogue that came with those questions? they aren't just surface-level questions, and they spark genuine and unique answers/responses. i love that this particular series takes the traditional interview format and turns it on its head, ultimately creating a fresh new spin on a popular format
Gabliel, I really appreciate your honesty about yourself. You as many others have worked so hard to become famous and successful, the hint of your reaching your goal and beyond is, when you feel you can not stop performing, you are the slave of your own success. I love your comedy, and I wish you long and healthy life. Thanks for all the good times.
Gabriel is such an engaging performer. I had the pleasure of seeing him in a very small event space in Riverside, Iowa while he was essentially taking his next album's material through a test run. Even though we were a small town with a small crowd, when I heard the final album later, it was clear he hadn't toned anything down just because we weren't a huge audience. Every show is THE show. He's truly passionate and talented and great and I love him.
I have so much respect for Josh and what him and the mythical team have created. You've cultivated a space for people to be themselves and share vulnerable parts of themselves. Thanks friend!
I think this is my favorite Last Meals episode yet. Loved the chemistry between the two of you, sounded like a couple friends having a nice discussion. Loved how giddy Gabriel was about the experience as well. Top notch stuff!
I never had spam until I became an adult. It just always looked gross. But then a Hawaiian Bros opened up in town and I saw the spam musubi. I decided to try it and loved it! Now I even make it for myself at home. Spam cooked in teriyaki sauce is the best!
Fluffy was very appreciative of the whole interview. Makes me glad he got this opportunity to just talk sotto voce and relax. He must not have a chance to do that a lot these days.
Josh, you've figured it out! The food, the questions, the respect, it's all there👏 You can tell every single one of your guests is beyond impressed and having a great time. And the conversations that are had really reach out to people
Fluffy is so wholesome and sweet. If I ever got the chance to meet him I would just want to hug him and say thank you for being so inspiring and genuine. Absolute king.
Wow, this guy really took a recipe and made it his own. Amazing premise and extremely well done. Hats off to you sir, you have my support no matter how little that is!!!
This is such a lovely interview. Sharing our thoughts w each other about food and death and having a laugh about it all is really just such an amazing thing I think we can all learn a little bit from.
I'm so glad this series is going so well. Really good questions with a host in Josh that manages to break everyone's walls down. And also delicious looking food, what's not to love?
Gabriel Iglesias will forever be the best all around comedian. He even stated why I believe so. He's never had to drop into politics, race, or any controversial thing. The only time I can recall he did, was when his bus driver Dave had "built a wall" between him and his cabin.
Aww, man I miss midnight drives!! The quiet and freedom and open road is so amazing and calming. If you can do that on the coast...omg!!! Zen moments all the way. Radio on low, windows down, ocean smell, no talking.
At 25:26 he talks about something that bothers him and whether or not to talk about it. My last Fluffy show I am happy that he put himself out there and talked about owning guns for safety and got no backlash for it even though after talking about it he stated he was afraid to talk about it because so many people are anti guns. So it is nice to see that He is still a person wanting safety and can speak his mind without to much or any backlash.
This is a collab I didn't know that I needed. You guys have an amazing synergy, and this whole interview was so wholesome. More collabs with Gabriel, please!
This show really is a less painful version of Hot Ones, dark, but less painful. They both have the most unique questions that people actually want to listen to and not just ones they hear all the time. Both Sean and Josh really dive deep in their past and it’s interesting to learn new fact about people we’ve loved for many years. Now I wanna give Gabriel a key lime pie lol
I love Fluffy! He is my favorite comedian and seems like such a genuinely kind person. I'd love to be able to sit down and just chat with him. I watch his specials when I get depressed and he never fails to make me laugh. Thank you Fluffy ❤
Right ? I have seen certain jokes from him a bunch of times and every single time I am laughing just as hard as the first time. The racist basket is one of my all-time favourites and it cracks me up every time I see it
My grandma actually FOUGHT for my grandpas headstone and bought a space right next to him. Shes still around and kickin but we grandkids and our parents know where she wants to be,and what she wants her stone to look like and what picture she wants. I love my grandma
As a California raised person, I feel great honor saying The Hat in my head before Fluffy finished calling it out ❤ pastrami fries there are the business 🎉
Love the level of success that this channel is achieving, and that most guests seem to really enjoy this style of interview. Side note, just searched "fluffy" on pretty much every search engine I can think of, and my guy Gabe is 100% correct on being the number one result on literally everything 😂
As soon as I saw fluffy i gasped and immediately clicked! I absolutely love him, he's such a cool and humble guy, and I rewatch his specials all the time! So cool seeing you guys have these awesome guests, this show is great josh and crew you guys are killing it.
its nice to see once in a while, like gabriel is WORKING that camera , he alone keeps my attention because hes always looking at me (directly into the cam)
My late wife and I got to be there when you filmed your special at Dodgers Stadium. When you don't know when death is coming, it's surprising what ends up being one's last meal. Thanks for speaking about mortality, and making my wife laugh.
I get to see Gabriel Iglesias this Saturday in Peoria illinois and I am so stoked! I have wanted to see him for many years now and he finally is gonna be an hour away from me! I really enjoyed this interview. I also sincerely hope that he knows how much his audiences and fans appreciate his sacrifices! I personally wouldn't want the fame but I will say that many of his everyday experiences is something many other people would like to experience once in their lives....also my favorite pie is key lime! Yumm!!!
yooo he wasn't kidding lmao did the fluffy search and he was the first person that came up. Way to go with branding yourself without meaning too. Lmao again another amazing interview. Ill be a regular watcher here on your channel. Between the unique way of doing an interview and how you carry the show and host....gold. Absolute gold.
Man I love this interviewer I’m unfamiliar with him and this is my first time watching this channel and man was a great guy to have genuine conversation with
This was the best thing I've watched in such a long time, I love you fluffy. So down to earth and just an amazing human being that has brought laughter and joy to tons of people. Josh, this was the best guest ever, not afraid to say it. This made my day, thank you both.

This was so wholesome. Gabriel is such a wise man, his "last words" really brought the feels to surface.
For me too. I never let myself just enjoy life. I have to like schedule it in. And even then I don't even really know what I enjoy honestly.
I'm so glad this series is going so well. Really good questions with a host in Josh that manages to break everyone's walls down. And also delicious looking food, what's not to love?
The typo made this comment so much better. I imagined you saying Josh was delicious and looking good😂
@@DaisyElf508 dammit. I had to change it but that is funny
@lucasash1974 aww, you should've left it, haha
@@DaisyElf508 lmao now i wanna know what the typo was
The timing of this video…I’m glad his plane landed safely! I absolutely love him and this series.
Sadly, his plane actually crashed. So sad

I absolutely love seeing how honest Gabriel is, one of your best up front and honest episodes. Thank you for creating that open but fun environment
I love how personable and humble Gabriel is.
Gabriel was an excellent guest. Josh was an excellent host. This was awesome. Thanks for doing it.
Having Gabriel tell you that your show is the best has got to make you feel awesome. Awesome job!
YO THIS IS CRAZY, two of my favourite creators clash. Great vid guys
Came here to say the same thing!!!
This episode was truly Mythical. Thank you for the mashup I've always wanted.
This has been the best interview I've seen ever! Fluffy is such a real and great person and so is Josh. Perfection!
Now, if I ever meet Gabriel in person…I’ll ask him about his day and how he’s been feeling.
Think that should be the norm when we meet our favorite celebrities.
same
My late wife and I got to be there when you filmed your special at Dodgers Stadium.
Yumm!!!
He’s so humble❤ no famous person would ask for simple meals like this
This is such a good show. From ep. 1 with Rhett, the interview portion has consistently been top tier. Great work, Mythical Kitchen!
what did we do to deserve this collab 😭♥️
So proud of everyone from Mythical for creating a great show. What a great moment having Gabriel Iglesias on. Mythical Kitchen has hit a new level! ❤
Thank you show host for making the food with so much love.
yooo he wasn't kidding lmao did the fluffy search and he was the first person that came up. Way to go with branding yourself without meaning too. Lmao again another amazing interview. Ill be a regular watcher here on your channel. Between the unique way of doing an interview and how you carry the show and host....gold. Absolute gold.
You can tell how genuinely grateful Gabriel was to have this experinece and it was awesome to see.
Wow. This is so amazing. I always knew Fluffy was funny as hell, but now I genuinely love him as Gabe! What a wise and thoughtful person!
Been listening to this guy for like 15 years. Im glad he's happy.
“I think you took my spot, that’s right they had affirmative action “ was hilarious
I've said it before and I will say it again. This is the best interview show. Every time I finish an episode I am left wanting more.
"I don't lack the education, I lack the motivation." Most relatable statement ever.
I would pay so much money for the “Gabes PISSED” show
Found your channel while I was sick last week. This is an amazing interview concept. Please keep this up!!!
I love the chemistry between them and how chills the conversations are! Love Fluffy always
I've loved watching this man since I was 8 years old and now at 24 is kind of mind blowing, Gabriel is such a sweetheart.
