I had been building a Prismatic Bridge deck for a while until I saw you sliverless Sliver Overlord deck and decided that was the 5 color deck for me… aw shit here we go again
Pull from eternity is useful for the exile part. Also looking to add Dismiss Into Dream. I added Darksteel Forge , Rite of Replication , Panharmonicon, and Eternity Vessel. Deck has done very well,won my LGS pod with it haha. Love the deck!
@@andrewamann2821 Well, it's more of a jank/fun deck, so there's a good chance your gameplan will fail, but if you make it through it's gonna be hilarious. but i mixed in an athreos just for that. it's hard enough to get rid off, so at best it takes two turns to have both in play and i should be good, exiling the fish would actually help me then. But yes, Pull from Eternity has synergy with Dizzy Spell so i guess i will have both :p Also, we now have Toxrill, so that's a thing too.

i'm scavenging the atraxa precon to build a different counters deck. those 2 are essentials as is corpsejack menace if you're doing +1 counters as it doubles any +1/+1 counters you put on.
Yeah, my own Vorel deck is probably my favorite one to pilot and has so many nice little engines and threats. And honestly, the best card that enables a lot of the plays is Clockspinning. Buyback instant that adds counters.

This unique look at Esika just might have solved my problem, as well as having taught me a new way to look at interesting non-legendary creatures. I can't wait to see what you show us next!
This is a really cool deck. For a deck that tutors for the same creature every game, it still seems like it will have some fun variance between multiple games depending on what you end up putting all the charge counters onto.
I built a similar style deck with Vorel as the commander! It also had the "take infinite turns with magistrate's scepter" gimmick as one of its paths to victory.

Another draw spell you could consider is Midnight Oil. It’s not a crazy amount of draw like mind unbound, but it does increase your max hand size because of the way it is worded and because of all of the counters you will have on it. Depending on how much earlier you get it out than mind unbound, they could be a good combo, you just have to watch out for the downside when you discard if you go over your limit with the draws from mind unbound.
For fun you can put in helix pinnacle yeah it has shroud so you cant double its counters but with the charge counter mana rocks and what not you can ramp it up a lot
Probably the second one. Mitch is a good player, but unless he dedicates prep time to piloting a cEDH deck, it’ll be clunky. Which is frustrating for all parties involved. Basically every deck in the format requires study time for anyone new to that exact deck. As opposed to Playing with Power just generally being confused about what certain cards are or going “hey I know this one!” Which is quality content and has big comedy potential.
I believe Mitch would make a janky cedh turbo build and would have a lot of fun with it. But the comedy of him playing against playing with power would be great

This deck seems pretty cool, even in the state it is in. An Upgrades version looks like a very interesting, fun and for lack of a better term, crazy deck. Love the vids, and all the deck techs you do are just awesome. Your budget options are always incredible, I think this is the first time I've seen Titan Forge in any deck lol
Titan Forge is really good though, even if it doesn’t get you experience counters with Ezuri or play its tokens for free like Spawning Pit can. 9/9 is beeeeeg
I suggest adding Archmage Ascension, since it lets you replace your draws with searching your library, so you can never lose the game by drawing out so long as it's active. And it's a counter based card to boot. Or if you really _must_ stay under $1 per card, Abundance also replaces draws so you won't draw out, while letting you filter what you draw in a way. The Magic Mirror also helps as a 2nd Mind Unbound that also has no max hand size stapled on.
In the more pricey range, you can add cards like Teleportation Circle or Isochron Scepter to have that sweet ETB each turn or even have some protection.
I love this deck idea! I am already working on my own varient with a couple twists. Might increase the budget slightly, but not to bad, and i cant help but add in a couple more charge counter based win-cons. Also conjurs' Closet for every turn blink, stacks great with everything else.
One of my favorite decks is a deck with roalesk apex hybrid that runs a lot of these cards and then a bunch of clone effects to proliferate, one of my biggest accomplishments in janky deck building.
Can you label this Secret Commander series? This is like the 10th deck recently centered around tutoring up a single non-legendary golden pig every game. I like those decks, but it would be nice to have them distinguished in some way
I feel like if you're willing to sacrifice guaranteeing the Skate, putting in a Teferi, Timebender could also really help this deck. Starts with 5 loyalty, +2 to untap an artifact or creature, where untapping the artifact is the important part. -3 to draw 2 and gain 2 life, not super useful to this deck but can be useful in a pinch. The important one though is that if you can get Skate in and out a lot, you can -9 a few times over to take a handful of extra turns at once!

Love seeing Mana Bloom and Rishidan Pawnshop in use. It is hard to find a good fit for Pawnshop, as it sat in my binder for years. I have been using Bloom since I bought it and I have to say it is abery fair and friendly design for people playing 3+ colors in their deck. It also would fit excellently in an enchantress deck as for a single green it can trigger all LTBs/cast/ETBs for enchantments on each turn.

This seems a good deck that would gain from inexorable tide and starfield NYX. Maybe doubling season if you have one, or one of the similar enchantments
Golem Foundry reminds me of how much i loved the Slicer Cards. I’d love to see a deck built around Precursor Golem as the secret commander. Then again theirs a red commander that has the same effect but for all creatures thats p cool
I haven't read all the comments so I'm not sure if someone already suggested it, but if you're up for another card that's slightly more expensive than a dollar, consider Sphinx of the Second Sun. I know it's a creature, but just read what it does :)
Maybe a bit pricey for a budget deck (around $8), but Eternity Vessel would be absolutely insane with this deck. Your life total effectively doubles each turn.
I like this deck, it has some draw issues... they can be fixed by putting 1 more creature in it... Mindless Automaton... an artifact creature that comes in with 2 +1/+1 counter.... pay 1 to discard a card and place a +1/+1 ounter... remove 2 +1/+1 counter draw a card. (No tapping) so you can get some serious draw off this card by just a couple doubles. If it comes out first you can still save it from kill spells by removing counters, drawing a card, then blinking it. It comes back with 2 counters. The kill spell fizzles with no target.
Just played this deck with a few friends and ended up with over 40 snakes trampling over Feather, vehicles, and zombies. Was able to get deep glow skate to trigger an absurd amount, this is definitely one of my favorite decks.
one small correction: you cannot actually use teferis time twist to protect the bridge as the bridge reenters the battlefield as esika since it's the "upper" side of the card.

One minor error I noticed: At 15:10 you mention being able to flicker prismatic bridge with Teferi's Time Twister to protect it. MDFCs will always flicker to the front face, so you would just be getting Esika back on the field instead
A bit over the $1 mark, but I would really consider running Riftsweeper and Pull From Eternity in the deck. Would hate to have someone Exile the Deepglow Skate.

You pay commander tax on your commander (the physical card) regardless of what casting cost/face you use (so long as it's a casting cost and not an ability such as Derevi) and given its cast from the command zone.
I'm buildintg something similar, but with more creatures, control and a proliferate theme. There aren't many cards in your deck that look like a wincon or something, so a great addition would be to add Torment of Hailfire and Debt to the Deathless, with a lot of mana from all of storage pernaments these two cards makes my opponents scream. :D
Did you consider Myth Realized for this deck? It is an enchantment for a single white. Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, put a lore counter on Myth Realized. 2w: Put a lore counter on Myth Realized. w: Until end of turn, becomes a Monk Avatar creature in addition to its other types and gains "This creature's power and toughness are equal to the number of lore counters on it." Almost every spell in the deck (including the bridge) can potentially put a lore counter on Myth Realized. That's not even counting Skate's etb.
cool deck mayhaps it needs more graveyard recursion just in case deepglow dies cause it would suck nuts if it got stuck in the yard p.s. didn't see ephemerate in the blinks.
i just use time stream navigator and use kenrith as the wincon there are a few ways to get them out into play on the same turn useing esika paradox haze being one of them other wise i just use worldly tutor cards to control the top deck to get the right creature out into play.

Yay,another deck for one of my favorite cards: Ventifact Bottle. :) Not in budjet but Helix Pinnacle would be good in this. Awesome deck once again. :) Esp as someone who likes rayfish,I love this.
I actually had a similar idea with Ink-Treader Nephelim. So I could essentially make a legal version of Ink Treader with black included, with a bunch of token producers (like in this list) and a bunch of cheap cantrips etc.
I love your vids and decks. I also want to try to keep supporting my local gaming store, but whenever I take a deck list in from one of your vids they just don't have the cards, or want to up sell me on cards or change the concept of the deck, makes me not want to go in when I see that the deck you built is on TCG player for $X and they suggest a single card that is $XX. Anywho, love the content and the education about various cards out there that aren't in the lime light of other channels.
The fractal tokens you also double all there counters too each time you play at the same time add more counters to the enchantment just said enchantment forgot to drop and thous creatures too get a boost each time get wild fast had it happen to me in a game dude

I wonder how that would work, you'd have to cast as many as you can before the first one resolves, and then have cards that allow you to do things without having to cast them.

Okay, I've been away from magic for a LONG time how does Prismatic Bridge get cast? Can you cast either side directly from the command zone, or do you have to play Esika onto the battlefield first and then pay the WUBRG to flip it?

It needs to be able to grab its key pieces out of exile.... If the key pieces are removed from the equation, permanently, it just kinda loses.

If you want to add an extra creature, then Ichor Rats seems a bit easier to cast, plus it gives everyone an infect counter to begin with

Veyran is another powerful spellslinging deck. I actually just converted her to Krak & Sakashima though. Tons of fun!

This is my dream deck. Charge counters, tokens, proliferation, and tons of artifacts. The only thing it lacks is infect, but I can live without that.
So what about teleportation circle or strixhaven stadium? Seems like cards you'd want in the deck

@@generalbacon7476 But because the way stadium is worded, you only win if you put a counter by attaking with a creature and damage the opponent so not realy worth it
@@obyzamkenoby1162 I see where you're coming from but with all the blink and exiling in the deck it can't be that hard to just remove someone's creatures maybe only for a turn but that's really all you need. If not it's still a mana rock
Do you pay commander tax on the enchantment?
You pay commander tax on your commander (the physical card) regardless of what casting cost/face you use (so long as it's a casting cost and not an ability such as Derevi) and given its cast from the command zone.
I think "All will be one" will be interesting in this deck...
This is an amazing deck design! I love it!
I'm buildintg something similar, but with more creatures, control and a proliferate theme. There aren't many cards in your deck that look like a wincon or something, so a great addition would be to add Torment of Hailfire and Debt to the Deathless, with a lot of mana from all of storage pernaments these two cards makes my opponents scream. :D
i wondered why you didnt mention karn's bastion as it also has 4,tap: prolif. but then remembered its not under a dollar. its $6

Did you consider Myth Realized for this deck?
It is an enchantment for a single white.
Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, put a lore counter on Myth Realized.
2w: Put a lore counter on Myth Realized.
w: Until end of turn, becomes a Monk Avatar creature in addition to its other types and gains "This creature's power and toughness are equal to the number of lore counters on it."
Almost every spell in the deck (including the bridge) can potentially put a lore counter on Myth Realized. That's not even counting Skate's etb.
cool deck mayhaps it needs more graveyard recursion just in case deepglow dies cause it would suck nuts if it got stuck in the yard

Aria of Flame seems pretty good here too, right? It is around a dollar, so still close to buget.
i just use time stream navigator and use kenrith as the wincon there are a few ways to get them out into play on the same turn useing esika paradox haze being one of them other wise i just use worldly tutor cards to control the top deck to get the right creature out into play.

I actually had a similar idea with Ink-Treader Nephelim. So I could essentially make a legal version of Ink Treader with black included, with a bunch of token producers (like in this list) and a bunch of cheap cantrips etc.

I love your vids and decks. I also want to try to keep supporting my local gaming store, but whenever I take a deck list in from one of your vids they just don't have the cards, or want to up sell me on cards or change the concept of the deck, makes me not want to go in when I see that the deck you built is on TCG player for $X and they suggest a single card that is $XX. Anywho, love the content and the education about various cards out there that aren't in the lime light of other channels.
The fractal tokens you also double all there counters too each time you play at the same time add more counters to the enchantment just said enchantment forgot to drop and thous creatures too get a boost each time get wild fast had it happen to me in a game dude

I wonder how that would work, you'd have to cast as many as you can before the first one resolves, and then have cards that allow you to do things without having to cast them.

Okay, I've been away from magic for a LONG time how does Prismatic Bridge get cast? Can you cast either side directly from the command zone, or do you have to play Esika onto the battlefield first and then pay the WUBRG to flip it?
