ADG EDP is a slightly more grown up version for us that grew up with the OG EDT. Nostalgic but a bit darker. Love it.

Getting lame how trendy it's become for people to constantly say fragrances are "more grown up" than other fragrances based solely on what time in their lives they wore them. Original ADG could be worn by any age at any time because it's a great fragrance. The maturity argument is so stupid.

I love how you use your hands when describing flavours. It actually helps me a lot and learned it from whiskey tastings, it was to taste a whiskey (also wine) and to draw a shape after. It gives you a base off of what the flavour profile is. (Line = Linear, Triangle = Sharp, Circle = round, smooth, balanced etc) Also waiting for the restock so my mum can pick up a hard candy at home and send it to me in Australia!
Thank you Aaron, great review despite you being so tired while shooting this :) ...and a good reminder that my bottle is almost empty, gotta order now. I've been an ADG fan ever since the original came out, tried all the flankers and versions, but the EDP is my most favorite version. IMO it's the most 'grown up' and elegant out of the whole line.
My favorite version of Acqua Di Gio. Smells like the original but stronger.

ADG Eau de Parfum to me smelt very sharp and unique. It had a sort of freshness to it that was overwhelming but very nice altogether. I still prefer the latest Parfum version, I think that is the best ADG release to date after Profumo.
Wow. In my country still not yet ADG parfum... I'm waiting when parfume comes to store 😄
Performance good? How long time that work?
Parfum's performance is amazing. I get easily 12+ hours on my skin and smooth projection within the first 3 hours, after that it becomes a skin scent but it's still very noticeable. I think they nailed it with Parfum and did a very good job with it!

I was surprised you liked this cologne. I love this cologne. I have the edp and the parfum. I knew this wouldn’t be your style in which you would wear yourself.
My new favourite of the line. Profumo was king for many years for me but this has a more grown up feel that vibes better with me today. Great performance and longevity.

I enjoy the Profumo, Profondo and the EDT very much and wear them a lot. Tried the EDP a few times on skin, but decided not to buy a bottle.
It's the halfway point to Profondo. It's probably the cheapest Armani right now because it isn't selling. I got 150ml of it for $70.
I'm genuinely curious what you think of Hiram Green's compositions and on a totally different note Toskovat.

I never got along with the EDP version of ADG, it always seems to dry down green on my skin, like sharp and herbal. I could never work it out, because I don't have that issue with the original or the others.
Same wanted to like it but GREEN
And there is s mineral note in it which I don't like.
The OG is better and the latest "Parfum"

I like green, I like vetiver, I like cannabis...there's something else going on with the dry down but it definitely bugs me. EDP is so close to being great though - it has the best parts of Profondo without the shower gel association but it doesn't stick the landing

I like the clean fresh cooling scents on men. I think it gives that fresh out of thr shower smell it a hint of more. Vs heavy musky warm scents.

You mentioned a good point here at the start Aaron I'd also like to see some proof of the claims these fragrance brands etc to be honest i don't really believe them lol I know companies and their various box ticking exercises Ive seen many such exercises done at the factory i work at, its mostly about being seen to do something for the good rather than actually doing something for the good especially when doing something costs them money, it would be nice to be shown that they are doing something for the good while sourcing these materials, I'm very skeptical that they are
This is my 13 year old nephew’s 1st perfume. He chose it himself, and he loves it. He wears it every day. I wonder what his next scent will be?
Honestly, it's a superb choice. Good value for the price. Smells lively, fresh and inviting. Very versatile. Kid's gonna be the best smelling young man in the room wherever he goes.

Hey could you make a video explaining skin chemistry and explain why some perfumes last longer/shorter on some peoples skin.... what exactly is skin chemistry? (I find most "long lasting" perfumes fade really quickly on my skin).

Beautiful opening with an awful dry down of sweat and cannabis......everybody i know thinks so too. Once you smell that funky note it’s hard not to smell it.
Same here, I really like it when I don't smell cannabis but when I do it is a turn off for me.
Dissapointed with this edp scent, love the edt scent more

They discontinued the ADG absolu, which was my daily. I'm looking for something similar to it. How does this compare?
@@j8nkies20 This is nowhere near absolu. Absolu is great, with some salty, sweet, amber vibe. EDP is mega green and bitter like biting into an unripe, green citrus, right through the skin and all. If you can imagine how that would taste, that is how the edp smells. Bitter, green and relentlessly powerful for the first hour or so, and in the worst way, like I want to escape it, but I can’t until it starts drying down. In the dry down it’s weak, just slightly detectable.

Bought this one and my gf said i smell like an old man. I really liked it tho. It also had good performace.
My immediate reaction this version was 'Eggua di Gio'. There's something I find a little off-putting to the EDP. I adore the Parfum version though. Profumo was a masterpiece, rip.
Same here, didn’t pick it up the first couple of days though. After a while, I started to smell something that felt off. Really enjoyed the fragrance before I experienced this!
AdG EdP is my favourite of the line.

Dior Homme Parfum please 🙏
This is basically a re-release of essenza with the metallic notes removed and the overall smell made more a bit more rounded and refined. The performance is excellent on this like essenza. Both essenzza and edp are definitely the best performing in the ADG line.
I loved Essenza, I can’t stand this.
IMO Essenza was the masterpiece of the whole line.

I like it but one and awhile I find it smells like cannabis which I'm not crazy about but when I don't smell that I really like it.

I couldn't agree more with Aaron. Some rosemary would be really nice in adg. That's actually why I prefer l'immensite by LV because it does more of what Aaron says and my nose agrees
I have no interest in the mass-market frags.

I have a 200ml bottle but have hardly used it.
It isn't, this is the EDP flanker that came out in 2022.
Smells great, but not so good on my skin. This one is definitely tricky with skin chemistry.

I just can not stand the Gio Edp. I get a weird BO smell on my skin from it. Probably skin chemistry. Just doesn't work for me.

Unpopular opinion, i don't like any Aqua Di Gio 😂 I don’t think they're bad but I personally don't like them
I hate the mandarin orange on this and i hate how long that note lingers. It reminds me of the smell citrus rind leaves on your hand. Really not a fan of that smell.
Sadly, I am one of those who cant stand out this parfume, it has some "sea" note that makes me throw up.

Acqua Di Gio is (and has always been) one of the most overrated fragrances of all time. Certainly, not for me. I am with Mr. Hughes on this one.
Cheap smell. Really popular among Dominicans and puertoricans
