I have the EDP, the EDT, Profondo, and Profumo.
I prefer the EDT over Profondo and the EDP.
I don’t know if it’s the cypress or clary sage but the others smell earthier than the EDT to me.
I also think the citrus blast of the edt is not sharp and sour … but with a fresh/sweetness to it, which I love. I am surprised she doesn’t smell the sweetness of some of the notes in the edt as I think she said once that she likes freshies only if they have some sweetness. To me it’s fresher, sweeter, brighter, yet smoother.
None of them give me a Sauvage vibe whatsoever.
I also think the average person couldn’t really distinguish between the EDT, EDP, and Profondo as readily as we can. So, one shouldn’t be worried about someone saying you smell like someone in their youth, or an ex, or uncle or dad, if you wear the EDT.
If you wore Profondo or the EDP, a non fragrance enthusiast is just as likely say or think the same thing.
Wear what you like…. And wear it for yourself. :)
@@spaztekwarrior All of them are easy to use mass appealers 😊 I'm not sure I pick up on that earthiness you mention. All are quite clean kind of scents and to my nose not really earthy 😊😊There are some twists to each though and to me the EDP is a bit more "clean" and modern than the OG and profondo being the one that actually moves into doing it's own thing more than the other two.
Always wear what you like. Period. 😊
I got my bottle of AGD EDP today and on first wear I received a compliment from an attractive woman (saleswoman in a cheese shop) at the first opportunity. ☺️ However, it is true that it was within 30 minutes of application. I remind you that I live in a country where people are mostly closed minded. It's a good start wit the new fragrance! 😄
I'm a huge fan of Aqua Di Gio, and I didn't know about EDT and EDP until I watched this video. I just picked up the EDP version which I was told is less alcohol and more of the perfume oils vs the slightly cheaper EDT variant.
I must say I absolutely love the EDP version better. It's more potent, which means you don't need to put nearly as much on to get the effect you want. And I have had so many compliments on it.
I have a few of my favorite scents from Versace and others, but the Aqua Di Gio EDP is probably my favorite. (I guess that's the main difference between EDT and EDP which I never knew).
You have an amazing channel, and I'm glad I came across it. The way you describe the smells of each cologne you review is nothing short of masterful!

Still love the EDT but I live in a hot climate so down here all the girls like it because sweet smells give you headaches so more people wear aquatics. But I mixed the Gio EDT with the EDP and got 5 compliments. Great video as always!

I'd like to smell the edp. I love the edt on really hot days here in Trinidad, good for running errands as it only last about 2 or 3 hours

I havent purchased this one yet. I have some of the flanker, Profondo Lights is my favorite. Im sure Ill get this one soon. Im also interested in the new Chrome edp👍

I rocked ADG EDT back in the day and still have a bottle of it with the Profumo as well. Truth is that l am not crazy about aquatic/marine scents. I appreciate the DNA as a classic but definitely not getting the EDP.

The EDT was my first fragrance ever. But have to say the Profondo and Profumo are where it’s at. Absolute isn’t bad either. I hope the next ADG is a spicy take on the DNA with some black pepper, cardamon and maybe cinnamon.

EDT was my first big designer frag its my favorite of all time not because its the best just because its the most special to me. before that i had ted lapiters, CK crave, blue jeans, joop etc. ADG EDT and Le male where my first big hitters.

The EDT holds special memories for me as it was a birthday present from a friend in London a VERY long time ago. It was my first 'proper' fragrance. Still waiting for the EDP - it's on the way but has taken a while to arrive.😫🤨 Patience isn't one of my virtues I'm afraid 🙄

@@rottenrebels Thank you. It should arrive this week but it didn't help that it took a full week from placing the order until dispatch. Oh and Profumo is one of my life fragrances too. The original Dior Homme also makes my list along with Terre d'Hermes EDT. Those fragrances were and still are the pinnacle for me. Timeless classics. I forgot Bleu de Chanel EDT - it makes my list too.
The wait is over! My EDP bottle finally arrived today. First impressions as of 15mins ago are EXTREMELY favourable. 👌👌👌

@@rottenrebels I don't think it'll dislodge Essenza or Profumo but it's a great scent nonetheless and a worthy addition. I also have Profondo and Profondo Lights (I prefer the latter of the two as it's slightly more interesting).

Hi! The EDP is definitely a bit different while still having a bit of the original in it. A more modern take on that classic ADG scent. You tried it?
Its EDT all the way for me. My wife prefers EDT too of all in the line. The drydown is legendary. I think Profumo is darker, not really my style. The EDT for me will always be in my all-time list.

Oh, forgot, You are right the edt is not ground breaking now because every fragrance manufacture in the world has tried to replicate it in some way shape or form. The edt is the most sold fragrance in the world!

I've purchased EDP version at Sephora a week ago and it was really disappointment for me. I don't get it but longevity of it too terrible... Could you help me what i've made wrong? Because also projection is terrible... When i wear it firstly, in first 2 hours someone must get too close me to get a bit smell of it after that there's no any fragrance smell left on me...

@@rottenrebels if you get a Paris Hilton scent get Gold Man Rush it’s smells super close to Madarian Black extreme…. Sweet and slightly fresh and powdery. Will also give u the feel of the Dry down of Chanel Allure Sport extreme

we all know the o.g is reformulated to DEATH but i still buy it for nostalgia its the same smell but the 90s and 2000s Adg is on steroids!

I agree. The original edt pour homme from the 90s just smelled better than it does now. Seemed stronger and less citrus. Lasted a long time. All the women loved it too.
Profumo hands down is the best one
I have smelled all flankers and I own Og, Profumo and Absolu. I actually like Absolu the most, which is pretty unpopular opinion.

Might be a different wearing experience for other people but that's how its on me. It's definitely part of my rotation of summer fragrances this year 😊
