Verry nice model. I prevered OcCre because of the different colored wood. But Artesiana Latina for example is more detailt. Single planking is a challenge to. Have fun building.

@@g-kip Not that far along. What is your opinion? I'm thinking about it now.
I think the wood looks good, I suppose i would put it down to how well the Hull has come out, its not the easiest part of a build with Sapelli it is difficult to find a filler that actually matches so if some filling has taken place I would paint as it is then not visable.

The frame is definitely easier to put together than your version.
yeah the frame on this thing was rwally weird, but incredibly sturdy. You going to do two models at once, or wait till the tall ship is complete?@@g-kip
Belem, is just about complete, just a few more sails to add, so maybe two weeks to finish, I may start putting the frame together in the meantime for a video, as I dont think people want me to show adding more sails to Belem.
Looks like x-mas came early this year ... 🤩 Quality looks good, nice chain, too. I see prefab cannon ports also ? i am not certain about those.. but maybe they turn out ok.

Hi Greg, I was really impressed with the kit, should take a couple of weeks lol, and maybe a year on top, the Belem is almost a year now think I started it just after Christmas.

Like you i work fulltime, so dont have too much free time, probably just as well the wife would complain about too may ships on display in the house.
