I love the evolution of gaga's artistry and musicality. There's something real about her
SHE IS THE MOST VERSATILE ARTIST
This song needed to be written, and no one better to write *and* perform it than Gaga. She owns those notes and every nuance of the performance. This song is so powerful with it's message, and her vocal talent along with the emotion behind it take it to a whole new level. I think this song has saved lives of those affected. It did mine, and hearing someone sing your emotions and thoughts in such a public platform that she has really reaches in and lets you feel you're not alone while at the same time yelling at the world your pain and anger that goes unrecognized and brushed aside. I'll always be immensely thankful for her for doing this.
Great COMMENTS
This is probably one of my favorite live performances, by anyone ever. The amount of emotion that she manages to display through her vocal conviction and eye contact make me cry every time I see this. It may not be the most perfect vocal to ever be sung, but it definitely feels like one of the most sincerely emotional performances I've ever seen.
I think thats contradictory because nobody could of put that amoumt of emotion into their vocal without breaking which makes it perfect i believe she is one of the best singers in the world

This performance always hits me right in the heart. She explains with grace and class how these things effect the person. But at the same time knowing she knows how it feels is saddening. Tears, so many tears.
Her voice is always so rich and full. And this song is amazing. I'm a survivor of sexual assault and sadly, so is my 13 year old. Hugs to all survivors. May you all find peace and healing💜
Her technique got more classical, polished and solid overtime. It's great to watch.

I know she has had been dealing with the pain and frustration of fibromyalgia and I know she feels. I have been dealing with it for almost 30 years. I am sure she is talking about other things in her song as well. She is such a beautiful person and artist and I love her work.
Wendy Hodges the song was written about sexual assault. all the people who came on stage at the end including Lady Gaga herself are survivors of rape. so it’s a extremely emotional song for her which shows. But the song can relate to anyone who’s going through something and dealing with pain. Very beautiful and powerful song.
I cried before I knew what the song was about because I could feel the emotion, and now that I know what she went through and what the song is about I know ill cry every time.
Honestly this song plus her performances of the sound of music and the national anthem really made me start taking her seriously as a artist!!!

Crying my heart out. A wound that truly never heals, especially when it happens to a child.
The thing about her live performances is that you don't have to watch them. You can just listen and they're amazing enough. She can do amazingly different things with her own songs over and over and over again, live, and it sounds so good it could almost be the record. And she does it time and time again, and now she's been doing it for over a decade. She's one of the greatest artists in history and if she keeps going at this rate she might end up being the greatest.

I have been as an European to Las Vegas in 2019 to both her shows of her Residency, the pop one and the Jazz & Piano one.
Next to her awesome singing skills, she is indeed a very very good person, it was noticeable when she was telling parts of her life during the Jazz & Piano show.
The meaning of what happened in this particular video speaks for itself.

I remember watching this on TV when it aired. I was seriously crying by the end of it which caused my teenage son to wonder why. This performance gave me the courage to talk to him about things that happened to me. Things that never should have been allowed to happen. This song is so incredibly powerful and inspiring.

Well, that made me cry.
She was my voice. I was only 6. The person I thought I trusted instructed me to play a "game". I didn't know I was being molested till I told someone about it. My family doubted me, told me that i must have "mistaken" what happened to me as assault. My innocence was ripped away from me, they made me feel dirty and like a w**re at 6 YEARS OLD. It haunted me for years and I'm 15 now. It still hurts but little by little, I heal whenever I listen to this song.
Oh honey, I am so sorry this happened to you. No one, especially a child, should ever experience what you went through. You were met with Evil plain and simple. Evil that preys upon the weak and innocent to strip in the present and to silence in the future. While I wish you could have those years of lost innocence back, this isn’t the end of your story. You have a powerful voice, and I believe God will use you to help others in ways you never imagined, to be that light and source of strength that was missing for you. I pray you never question your worthiness again. You are heard, seen, loved, and have great purpose.

There are so many people in the movie industry/Hollywood who continually try to push the idea that this system of abuse is (almost) exclusively (and they'd definitely leave out the almost part) something done by men to women, so I love Lady Gaga so much more for having guys on the stage with her as well as women. Thankfully someone is not forgetting about the minorities amongst the victims!
