Wow, that was way more complicated than my method of "I wonder what's in that tornado thing on the map, flying contraption GO!" and next thing I knew I had opened that door. Had no clue there was this big questline to get there, honestly was easier skipping it

Yeah that's also how I did the quest "on accident". Sure it's easier, but it left a sour aftertaste after finding out because I prefer to play the game as the devs intended to. I wonder how much stuff I miss/skip unknowingly. TOTK's freedom is both beauty and curse.
Then on the other hand there is Eventide Island, where I found the shrine before the guy that gives you the quest to unlock the gate blocking it. I spend a solid hour trying to figure out how to enter it until I caved in and looked it up. That was a rare moment of bad game design in this game imo.
There’s not enough guide in the game like you can waste hours and not get anything accomplished if it wasn’t for yt I’d be way more behind
Oh wow! I found Mineru without doing ANY of this! In fact, I stumbled on that island just by screwing around and exploring! In fact, I went there right after getting Sidon and before I even got Yunobo or Tulin!
So we couldn’t get this quest since we found mineru, is there another way to unlock this?
@@kevinkeung9336i think you can still do the quest it just wont lead to the main quest like it should've done because you already did that part.
@@DrunkenUub update received this quest after defeating phantom gannon in Hyrule castle with my compainons and back to lookout landing purah suggest a 5th sage but Link told them he already met her , which surprises the group

I never knew the Kakariko ruins led to this quest. I was just curious about the storm cloud and decided to try my luck. Riju’s lightning ability can act as a sort of sonar as only the ground will be highlighted in yellow to help with jumps
Haha that's WHT I'd did down to using the sage to find my way around. Had zero clue there was an entire quest leading up to it 😂

Lol Mineru was my third sage, I still had the goro and gerudo to complete😅 I just stumbled on that door by accident while trying to explore that storm cloud. Thankfully the shrines shine incredibly well😂
exact same thing happened for me 😂 i recalled a stone that fell from the sky that brought me to the door and just did the spirit quest when i still had to do eldin and gerudo quests 😭😭i got the master sword before spirit sage too so after i beat phantom ganon everyone was just like wtf

Wow. I just finished the game and was thinking about some of the stuff I didn’t complete, and I remembered the last ring ruin in kakariko that the stupid researcher wouldn’t let you near, so I decided to look up what was up with that. Had no idea it was part of what’s supposed to lead you to mineru.
She was the second sage I got. I fucked around for a long time before getting tulin, and then after him decided to keep fucking around and exploring and filling out the map. That brought me towards Faron where I saw that big lightning storm and figured “why not? Let’s see what’s in there!” Cue me stumbling around blind in a lightning storm for about 10 minutes before happening upon that big door and Mineru’s mask, then going down to the construct factory (which I had also previously discovered but didn’t know what to do with) and then being surprised that I accidentally found what’s supposed to be the “last” sage
So this quest wont activate until you finish the 4 phenomenas and find Zelda at the castle correct?

I immediately went to that door at the end when it said search ruins since it was the only place covered by clouds

What should we do before to appear the secret ruin rings ? And calip move away ? Because it doesnt appear in my main quests

I already had both shrines completed before starting this quest. So I was able to just warp to Joku-u shrine 😂. It saved me so much time and a headache.
For some reason it stills doesn’t lets me pass, all though I have the sincerely quest

@@missjoy6058 you need to finish 4 of the regional phenomena things, then talk to purah at lookout landing, and do that quest, THEN you can talk to chief lady

i must be missing some condition. i did the picture quest with those star shap floating stuff. and got 4 sages.

Yeah I found the door and finished all this came back and then when the lightning shot down at the bottom it cleared the sky from the temple where you set the zonai
Does the quest work without beating the boss fight because I want to do the boss when I have the game at 100%

I actually found Mineru first before doing any of the dungeons.
I completed all the sages and have the camera and I saw Zelda on the castle but I still can’t get the quest can someone please help me

Frankly I did everything and was curious about the last ring so when he still didn’t let me climb up there I said oh well I still have that sky storm to check out and boom found the door

you don't really have to do this quest, you can just go strait to the thunderhead isles.

No it doesn’t end the game after phantom ganon. You regroup at lookout and then go on this quest. That fight while looking for Zelda in the castle is not the end boss 😅

Actually I found this island without doing the quest and at first I couldn’t open the door because I didn’t have enough hearts but once I did have enough I opened the door and that’s how I found mineru

Weird thing about Tauro is that he is pointed by Zelda to research the zonai ruins WHILE when the ruins appear Zelda already gone. Is that means the Zelda that told him are the fake one? And why? Knowing the fake Zelda are *beep*.
Or did i miss something?
There were some Zonai ruins before the Upheaval. They were around in a few places in BotW, like the Faron Region jungle.
yes the zelda that made them research the ruins and made them not allow any one near the ruins was a fake zelda

I hated how this quest says "go to the tail with the clothes you just found and drop this item" with ZERO mention of making stops and doing other shit first.
I love this game but becoming a long grind now what a game but I’m losing it ohh dear.
Exactly this. I love this game but I want to finish the main quest line and just enjoy going around the world and exploring. This quest line is so tedious that I just ended up watching this whole video going step by step to get it over with.

The fact that so many people never knew that there was a quest leading up to the discovery of the 5th sage just shows how disastrous the narration is in this game.
In BotW there was nothing to spoil or do out of order so the problem didn't appear, but in this one they wanted to actually tell a story, yet did nothing to make it work in the open world format.
Can we all admit calip was very annoying or just me
