I recently started a new job in Chicago and take the Metra in to work. My ride is about an hour and fifteen minutes one way. I've only been riding about a month now and theres been a ten to fifteen minute delay almost every ride on my way back home and one time my train's engine had an electrical fire that caused over an hour delay on my way home. We had to switch to an entirely different train and someone from my work taking the train behind me said my train breaking down delayed her train too. So far so good lol. It just started snowing. Oh this is gonna be fuuuun.
As a NJT Railfan. I can say NJT SUCKS. Mainly because they can't keep up with their schedules. And simply due to them using horrible engines that run like crap.
I expected to at least chuckle when you got to Metra, but your description had me cackling out loud at best and I thank you for the great laugh you gave me 😭
