Ben makes points and occasionally offends someone. Milo offends people and occasionally makes a point.
This is mostly true which is why I liked your comment but there are a few of Milo's earlier college speeches that were substantive, powerful and on point and not majorly offensive (to normal people, that is). It seems he's gotten more outrageous and offensive as time has gone on.

Just because the world has been steadily losing its morality over the past 70 years does not mean that each individual must do so as well. I may not be religious, but I am anti-abortion. I, personally, believe that anti-abortion is one of the few noble political stances to take.

Shapiro makes serious points, Milo tries to get attention with shocking statements he doesn't actually believe.
Ben pointed out some important ideological differences between the two, so it is not just a matter of style, but of substance as well. Also, you can have more of a troll personality without sacrificing your decency or your conservative worldview - just look at someone like “the execrable” Michael Knowles.
They also differ very greatly in ideology and class. I respect Ben, I don't respect Milo at all.

He seems to be unbelievably calm and focused when he talks. And leaves emotion out and just focuses on what's right. Unreal how calm and respectful he is to others people's opinions. This guy is awsome.

I don't see Milo as someone defending conservatism as much as I see him attacking sjw beliefs and defending western values. His existence alone, as a gay, jewish, catholic, Trump-loving Brit who loves America and is with a black man, makes collective SJW minds explode, and that's how I see him as valuable for the idea that identity politics is a load of crap. Ben is the Conservative trying to defend conservatism (though, I don't think his Trump cynicism helps that much). It's not as much comparing apples to oranges as it is comparing apples to pears...very fabulous pears...

Milo disappeared after he completely changed gears in 2017, and caused his followers to lose interest. When he was just a blunt person who was an anti-feminist and rejected Islam, he stated facts the liberals didn't want to hear, but then his appearances became less formal, less meaningful, and less frequent, so fewer people hosted him as his demand dwindled, and he disappeared.

Both guys are great but I feel Ben is missing Milo's fundamental goal and that is to mock people who want to control free speech with a sort of "I'll say whatever I like and you can't stop me" rhetoric. It's not Ben's way bit it has been productive in recruiting people who are opposed to political correctness (especially young people). The provocation helps to reach a wider audience and pulls more people into the culture war.
I appreciate that Ben wore a poppy, more Canadians should do the same.
Come on, guys. Give credit where it's due. Milo was a big part in making conservatism cool again. He may have disappeared and you may have disagreed with his method and intent but that doesn't change the fact that he's one of the most important conservative figures of our time.
Jarl Trippin' milo is the reason I got into conservatism and became a big fan of Ben he’s who started watching first and got me into every other conservative voice on RUclips so for that I thank him.

I think milo and Ben are relatively equal in term on intellect although Milo is far more outgoing and more willing to do whatever he wants whilst Ben is much more reserved and formulated which leads to him being able to create greater points during debates, hence seeming smarter and thus, winning.

Ben makes some fair points and I understand where he's coming from. However, I don't think milo should just be dismissed like he no longer exists. Love or hate him, Milo got a lot right and was without question influential in trump's election in 2016. As for the criticisms that he's just a shallow troll, I think thats off base and coming from people who just never liked the guy in the first place. Shallow is Tomi Lauren. Shallow is Candace Owens. Milo was interesting because he made people think and question societal norms that they never had questioned before in their entire lives. His edginess went further than most comedians would dare go today and you could legitimately claim he went 'too far' sometimes but one of his purposes was figuring out exactly what 'too far' was because its often determined through the audience. I always thought that if you could see past the satire, egotism, and theatrics of milo then you could realize he was (and still is ) a genuine guy and self-aware guy searching for truth and telling it in a time where no one else was.

I saw Milo ranting on Telegram today about how much he despises short people (under 6 feet according to him), and started wondering what was wrong with him. In the past I had seen him refer to Shapiro as "the dwarf" so I figured Shapiro had done something to piss him off. Now I see what's going on. Apparently Milo has no coherent response to Shapiro's criticisms, so he resorts to petty attacks.
I used to like Shapiro but apparently, he worked behind the scenes to facilitate Milo's cancellation. Another cancelled conservative, Denise McAllister, said that Shapiro is a snake and a hypocrite who's ready to throw fellow conservatives to the wolves to protect his "brand."

When I first heard of Milo and how he had ties to Ben, I was a big fan, but over time as I observed how he functions and what he truly believes, he has basically lost me as a fan. Ben on the other hand has remained true to his principles and is still someone I admire.
This was the problem I had with Milo too. It always seemed like his arguments are heavily fueled on ego. And I agree with what Ben is saying here. You don't put yourself in a respectable light if you just offend for the sake of offending. Ben has some things I agree with and things I disagree with but his main salt in the wound to people is to those who shoot themselves in the foot during the times when they are trying to debate him, and he deconstructs the agendas behind people's arguments. Something they have created already.

Here's my dilemma. I want this man as president. We need a guy like him I'm office but.... His words need to stay unfiltered the way they are so maybe it's better for him to stay on the position he's in and not lose his right to speak his mind. Bens weakest point for me as a swede is the religion he sometimes throws in where it isn't needed. Seems so off for a smart guy to reference religious books in arguments etc.
Then again, Milo does too, and Ben's definitely the more productive and serious of the two.

I honestly am a fan of both commentators. Ben is intelligent and is a vital part of the Conservative movement; without him, who else would rip apart all of the gender studies professors and millennial socialists?
But I feel like Milo is also important to the Conservative movement. He’s funny and I think he is intelligent as well. However, I think he does a great job mainly at facing identity politics and supporting the idea that neither the Conservative nor the Liberal ideological spectrums consist of just one type of person and thus it’s important to have an open-minded mind.
To be completely fair to Milo considering he was the subject of criticism in this video, a lot of the things he says aren’t always core beliefs but mainly just ways to stir up the left and start a controversy. After all, he’s a free speech advocate, it’s essentially his job.
