    Amazing track and I love the Amish dude's drumming. Noah hits it out of the park with this one. 5:11 beautiful piano lick.. Bass player is no slouch either.

    Great arrangement. So laid back. Also what kind of piano is your upright, the keyboard seems so deep and set back from the strings/hammers. Sounds so warm.

    Wonderful playing, amazing ideas. I liked when you swapped hand roles. What sort of voicings are you using predominantly? They sound so rich...

      Sounds like mostly stylistically modern quartal and cluster voicings. There are also quite a few variations on drop voicings (more typical of a trad jazz style).
      Harmonically he uses a lot of chromatic superimposition, such as playing the chord of the same quality a semitone above, resolving back down to the original chord. In this vein there is also plenty of reharmonization of the underlying chord structure, such as altering chords to the diminished/octatonic. I suppose what I'm trying to say is that he uses a satisfying variety of many different types of chord voicings.
