My grandmother in germany worked for a jeweler, she gave me a pair of tweezers from her work, i still use them all the time 40 years later.

Good information, I am going to build the Airfix Ark Royal 1/600 scale, all I can afford, but I've also bought the photo etch for this model. I thought I'd copy your style but on a slightly smaller scale (ever so slightly mind you), and try the photo etching thing. So this video 📹 was a good to know. Cheers

Great informative video Ben, lost no end of them over the years to the wife's eye brows

Thank you for the video, took a little effort to find the Hozan tweezers, the smooth jaw curved and straight came in and what a difference. Made the PE parts on the Titanic easier to do. Have a pair of PP-102 coming won't be here for a week or so.

That’s excellent! I’m assuming you’re here in the US? I also had a hard time tracking them down. I had heard they are on EBay, but I have not confirmed it.

@@TheMidwestModelShop Yes, US Ebay has some shipping from Japan,. Amazon has the smooth jaw, without holes in the handles. I can send the link if you want.

An on point topic. I have my own favs from years of use, also. Not all are from the same place. My best ones are from a guy I helped who was in the medical field and were one use for neurosurgery. He let me pick from a large bucket he had. Great find!

Interesting video, I thought I was the only one that obsessed over these kind of things, lolz. I think I have 50 pairs of tweezers that I play around with. Will have to check out Hozan.

Absolutely wonderful video Ben thanks tweezers have come a long way. Not sure if you have already done one yet but a quick video on glue and modeling cement would be appreciated. There are to many to keep track of. God bless to you and Nora😊

I have an assortment of Vetus tweezers and they are great especially for very small PE parts.

Nice little video on tweezers. use the self gripping type you use and often grind them to a particular shape for example a thin flat point especially sized for bending photo etch steps on my 1/200 scale ship models.

Ben, for the very tiny parts you may want to look at ANYZ precision tweezers. extremely sharp and always stay aligned
