    Great tips!
    (I've traveled 1.5 million miles so I always love these videos! Thank you for taking the time.)
    Charger strips are AWESOME! However, I'd recommend care when overseas because hair dryers or curling iron can blow these out. (Most hotels have hair dryers so leave yours if you can).
    Travel safe.
    Many hugs, Z. Allora

    Very good video !! I always bring my eco bag & ziplock bags & extra bags to pack ,I used to use compression bags that did not require a vacuum ( rolling style ) ! In UK ,I never see ziplocks !! I have asked several grocery store workers for it & they had never seen or heard of " ziplock " !!
    Reg.hard case suitcases ,in European countries & U.K.,those mega busses don't allow hard suitcases !! Only soft bags !! Also regarding bringing own power cord ,if it is a surge protection type & you travel on cruising ships,they'll toss it away !! Not sure if all of 'em do ,but just saw it in a video of what not to pack for cruising ! 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞

    I find clamshell annoying and a dealbreaker when buying a HardLuggage. So far I stick to soft sided luggage.

    • @hopscotchtheglobe
      @hopscotchtheglobe  Год назад

      Interesting. I'd love to know why? I feel the opposite because I've found with soft sided luggage, it can be thrown around more and I don't worry about what's inside. I also find the wheels on soft sided luggage are never good, which is very annoying for me. What luggage brand do you use? Would love to know more!

      I hate the space hardsided luggage in a hotel rm. If you and your hubby have bags it's a lot of space.

      Travelled carry on only for years. Hate clamshell as hard to find space to open. Can open soft sided on a chair eg. I use a Delsey MONTMARTRE AIR 2.0 expandable. Beautiful quality and lightweight for the volume. When I shop, I can expand and check on the way home and have a folding duffel with me to also have as replacement carry on. I only take breakable items into cabin not check.

    I would be careful using the jets in tubs because oftentimes they're not used regularly and they can get mold inside of them. And if you're washing your clothes with the jets, you could get mold mixed in with your clothing. Maybe run them before you throw your clothes in just to loosen up anything that could be contaminating your clothes and have that flushed out.

    • @hopscotchtheglobe
      @hopscotchtheglobe  3 месяца назад

      Great advice and absolutely! I always do that and see what comes out first before using the jets

    Be careful of using surge protectors in countries that have different mains voltage than yours. The surge protector rated for 120V should generally not be used in countries that use 220V. A regular power strip that has no circuity in it can be used anywhere so long as you simply convert the plug to match the country you're in.

    Hpw do you use the vaccum pack bag dont u need a pump to get all air out?

    • @hopscotchtheglobe
      @hopscotchtheglobe  Год назад

      Several different options for this: a hand pump which is pretty small and easy to pack in a carry on, if you're in an Airbnb, they usually have a vacuum you can use, you can also use a hair dryer (I'll have to do a little video tutorial to show how to do this), or you can you use space bags which don't require any of these options and you roll the air out.

    Credibility ruined with a suitcase sponsor

    • @hopscotchtheglobe
      @hopscotchtheglobe  Год назад +5

      Credibility is only ruined when someone is promoting something they don't know anything about and haven't been using themselves. Two things we never do! We only promote brands we've already been using and love. Brands we can speak about from personal experience. We reach out to those brands and say "Hey, we love your products, want to collaborate?" and we are lucky that we get to work with our favorite brands and make a living while providing valuable information based on personal experience to an audience we care about.
      Oh, and then we ask them to give you guys a discount which they don't always come to us with. But like I said, we care about our viewers and want to provide you with the best info and if we can save you money, that too.
      I hope that clears things up for you :)
