Hi andi, first thing first, the general advice given is to drink enough water which is around 2 litres per day, if you are doing that, you have ticked one box, the 2nd thing is are you eating enough soluble fibre, if you are eating lentil and other grains, it has good soluble fibre, if you doing water and fibre then the 3rd thing is magnesium supplements, if magnesium glycinate isn't working try magnesium citrate..if none are working, you may have IBS, have you checked for that condition, is it occasional constipation or regular constipation? what is your diet comprised of?

Water soluble vitamins (Vitamins B group and C) are not toxic even if you take them in excess. However, lipid-soluble vitamins such as Vitamin A, Vitamin D etc can be toxic when you take them in excess. One of the symptoms of functional dyspepsia is weight loss, so this may not be due to the medication you have been taking.
