Lot of people think using alternatives like jaggery, stevie, or sugar free would be good. But remember that they might be low in calories or might have some good iron, but they do increase sugar spike in blood similar to sugar, corn syrup. According to recent guidelines minimum of 1gram of protein is need for 1 kg body weight. If trying to loose weight or build muscles then it would be 2 to 2.5grams /kg body weight. Great video. I completely agree with you guys on the whole thing. In 2021 My husband weighed about 90kgs, history of Type 2 diabetes in his family and his metabolism was crazy. He followed a weight loss & reverse bad metabolism plan with zero sugar. His diet was recommended by a certified nutritionist. She suggested to follow an animal protein diet with good fats & organic vegetables. I cooked fresh three meals diet for him every day and slowly the 12 hr Intermittent fasting was increased to 14hrs then to 16 hrs & then to 18 hrs. He went down to 2 meals per day. He is 70 kgs now. Zero cravings I would say during the diet This has helped him to understand the food better & what affect it can have on our body. Now if we go out for lunch or dinner we choose to eat healthy and protein rich food or atleast low carb food. Avoid sugary sweets or limit it. Sometimes it is not possible to eat healthy food. But then he makes sure to walk 10,000 steps per day. Including protein in his all meals was a game changer. Our Indian diet is full of carbs and people need to understand how unhealthy it is as the physical activity is not much as it used to be for our parents or grandparents. Desk jobs is even making it harder. We changed our lifestyle completely. Now We make sure to sleep atleast 7 to 8 hrs. The best gift parents can give a child is their good health. Great video. As a doctor I would add few points that would help in your recovery faster. 1) Gut is your 2nd brain. Keeping it health, clean is more important. Make sure that u are taking enough fermented food for pre and probiotics to keep gut health and good bacteria alive. 2) to reduce insulin resistance try fasting, not intermittent but complete water fast for 48 hours to 72 hours. If you find u are dizzy or see other side effects stop it immediately. Stat the fast with 24hrs and then increase it slowly. This autophagy will help in eliminating all the bad cells from the body. 3) indian genes or stomach can't take uncooked veggies or greens. So make sure that they or steamed or cooked to avoid bloating and side effects. Avoid fresh green salads or juices and see how miracles happen to your gut 4)try adding pure green tea, matcha, and apple cider vinegar with mother in diet. Along with supplements like vitamin c and magnesium to improve your insulin sensitivity.

Great video. As a doctor I would add few points that would help in your recovery faster.
1) Gut is your 2nd brain. Keeping it health, clean is more important. Make sure that u are taking enough fermented food for pre and probiotics to keep gut health and good bacteria alive.
2) to reduce insulin resistance try fasting, not intermittent but complete water fast for 48 hours to 72 hours. If you find u are dizzy or see other side effects stop it immediately. Stat the fast with 24hrs and then increase it slowly. This autophagy will help in eliminating all the bad cells from the body.
3) indian genes or stomach can't take uncooked veggies or greens. So make sure that they or steamed or cooked to avoid bloating and side effects. Avoid fresh green salads or juices and see how miracles happen to your gut
4)try adding pure green tea, matcha, and apple cider vinegar with mother in diet. Along with supplements like vitamin c and magnesium to improve your insulin sensitivity.
