In 2021 I did this video and it was quite popular but with prices increasing for the Porsche Taycan I thought I would do an update of this video for model year 2023! This is becoming harder and harder with prices increasing but we managed to do it just barely this time around! Hope this video is helpful! Ron, just placed my order for the '23 base Taycan with performance plus battery, chrono, and the air suspension among other fun things (Just a tad north of $100k). Can't wait until St. Patty's day. I've been watching your many videos from two years back until this one and appreciate your take on this car and how all the features work and what to consider before adding/subtracting them. I could have gotten an almost build in about 4 weeks but felt the extra wait for exactly my build was worth the additional impatience. Lucky enough to get the first .2 911 Carrera S in CA back in '16 and fell in love again with Porsche and planning to fall the third time again in March. Thanks for your great reviews!

Yes I can certainly do this! In the process of moving once I am all done and settled in I will!
BTW - Just notified that neither the Bose nor Burmester sound upgrades are available for the Taycans, and who knows which other models. No idea when the backlog will break or when you can order cars with either of these. Looks like the standard sound system for now. Not as much an issue with engine noise, but this is a quiet cabin that is ideal for better sound systems......
Im with you there Gerry! The sound system delays have certainly been less than ideal. 😔
@@Pcarwhisperer Maybe a good chance for you to do an episode on audio alternatives when these things happen. Can be a long wait unless you are ordering $200k vehicles. The days of Al&Eds Autosound are long gone, but hopefully some hope for the factory sound system people.....

hey FYI you said the bose is not available for the 4S but it is on the online configurator.
Thank you! That is my mistake Bose is Available on the 4S just not the Taycan RWD and Taycan 4 Cross Turismo 👍🏼

I have a 2022 Macan, and 2007 Cayman S! 👍🏼 Don't own a Taycan yet but have had a tremendous amount of time with them!! Yes certainly more content on the way! Have large goals for a lot of content this up coming year. Working on more as we speak!

Hi Mason .. another great video! just a quick question is there a way to heat up your battery for charging as I can't seem to find out a way to do it
and I thought you would be the best to ask ,
Still no allocation for sport Turismo, which every RUclipsr said is the trim to get. Porsche just keep making the sedan that no one wants. No wonder the sales dropped 30%. I’m pretty sure you can find the exact builds of Taycan sedan with so many of them sitting in the lots.
I sure wish they would increase Cross/Sport Turismo Allocations 😔

Maybe I worded that wrong… If you were on a budget and could get the 4S… What options would you get? IE $125K, 130K, 135K, 140K… I am in the market and you do a great job of explaining all the options… I just don’t want a base… Spoiled on all wheel drive… Lol
