this one has grown on me over the years, used to hate it but now i don't mind it as much glad they went back to Jason though.
I dont mind this movie. Imo it's better than Jason goes to Hell 😊

They could make a feature length comedy out of how Vic got that axe in the first place. What did those camp heads do, realize Vic said KILL THEM ALL in his sleep less the night before than he normally does? When he woke up did Reggie scare him with a mask after spiking his coffee with rocker girl's amphetamines? Did he say nothing about murder during breakfast that morning? Were there no other jobs available? Did he get pulled from laundry duty for strangling the last guy who got chocolate on the sheets?
Seriously, WHY did Vic get wood-chopping duties, like, ever.
Another weird thing how there's a picture of Jason in the news paper in Roy wallet
Poor script and acting but doesn’t skimp on the killings or nudity! A guilty pleasure in some ways.

I don't think Roy could have got the guy who axed his son because that guy would be in prison.
So, like all these killing sprees we see today, Roy just went crazy.

Honestly one of the smarter ones as far as attempt. Always liked this one. If people felt tricked that's on them. The mask is Totally different. There's a clue. They outright tell you he was cremated (retconed in part 6 of course)
I honestly feel like if it was a standalone movie it would of been a awesome movie. But one of the worse F13 movie.
A New Beginning is the last film of the series with the look and feel of the originals. It gets a lot of unwarranted hate because Jason isn't the killer but Jason was dead during the events of this film, so get over it already. It gets labeled as trashy because of who directed the film, but there was as much nudity and sex in part 4. My only gripe is the introduction of characters only to kill them off immediately just to boost the kill count. Other than that, I liked it. Roy did a fine job and, IMO, was more like "Jason" than Jason parts 7-10........
Dumbass plot however I love the film it is good
