VTTBOTS was produced by Irwin Allen who also made Lost in Space, The Time Tunnel, Land of the Giants, City Beneath the Sea, The Swiss Family Robinson, Captain Nemo, The Poseidon Adventure, The Towering Inferno, Time Travelers, The Swarm, When Time Ran Out, The Night the Bridge Fell Down, etc.
VTTBOTS's Werewolf episodes and Man-Beast episode are liked by many fans but how does StuOz feel about them?

I prefer horror over SF although I like both genres. They appeal to slightly different parts of my personality and I generally don't like them mixing. Therefore, I take your point.

Having said that, SF tends to come off better than horror on episodic television. Half of my favourite shows are SF, the other half are (mostly British) comedies.

The werewolf eps are all competent but the first ones a bit dull and slow. Like you i prefered other scenarios, the patterson/ sharkey stuff was likely a filler due to the ep coming in short, Irwin shared your views on characterisatio n..😂

Irwin Allen
Dumps a ton of money into one off production values, hires a solid cast and then gets friends and volunteers to write scripts for him. Rubber suit monster of the week. This is a show about an advanced nuclear submarine? really?
That submarine is just a background extra.

Interesting post, not sure about getting "volunteers" to write scripts for him, but you obviously don't like the writing. Whatever, I don't really agree with your post but many others would. Thanks for watching.
