It was about 22 yards. I used premiere pro to edit. Not this one but another video I edited in iMovie on the iPhone. The second angle is a go pro hero 2.
Did you use a lens add on such as element or beast grip or just the Iphone’s camera? Also, did you crop in on the video when you edited it with software and what magnification did you record in if you remember? Thanks
I did not have any add on lens. I used the 2x optical zoom on the iPhone. I don’t think I zoomed in when editing. If I did it was maybe only for a few clips.

Very nice buck, always get nervous with those 1/4 towards shot. Well placed. What ladder system is that? Never seen a stick like that so far off the tree. How high?
Thanks. That’s my least favorite shot angle too but with his head turned he opened his lungs just enough so I comfortable taking the shot. Those are the field and stream climbing sticks from Dicks. The tree trunk splits just out of frame which is why it’s that far away from the trunk. The stand is about 22 ft but the deer was another 6-7 ft below the base of the tree.
Only when a firearm season is in also. It was late muzzleloader season during this hunt. In KY, archery can be used also during all of the firearm seasons.
Great video it's nice to have a real Hunter using a real bow and not a crossbow . Crossbows should only be used for people over 50 in handicap nice buck good luck on whatever you do.

Thanks. He had crashed based on the blood trail and ruffled leaves leading to the creek. He probably stood back up and then bedded down. We found a pool of blood where he stood on a trail and from there could see where he thrashed down the hill and landed in the creek.

I made a foam case and mount it to any scope on my weapons.
