    We're early into all this ice-fishing technology...but so far I am NOT missing drilling 127 holes to find fish lol. And it's mind blowing 🤯 how true the whole "spot on the spot" thing is. Being just 10-15' off (whether it's a bottom-transition line, or hole in the weeds) can mean the difference of catching 8 walleyes versus 1. 👊 Keep cranking out the awesome content!

    Definitely fun videos to watch but hardly a video for us average fisherman. I would be amazed if any of us have a 360 and two fish houses lol

    Do alot of ice fishing in the SW MN area just north of the IGL's, and was curious where you guys head for night-bite Walleyes, and what you tend to look for and key in on when picking a spot to set-up for the night? I fish alot of shallow lakes and tiny rivers, mainly all under 12FT. Thanks for any help!

    thats what you get for using a long rod for eyes, you lean forward to get the eye or get ducer out and you have a long ways to either lift the rod up or lean forward(create slack), nothing but short rods for me and good drag. Landed 2 eyes that were 30 and 32 inches on a 23 inch UL tickle stick with 5# and 4# test, haven't lost a eye yet with that setup.

      They are a great option if you can afford one! Great way to get casual anglers and kids out on the ice and keep them comfortable! They can also be used year round if you just love the outdoors!

    5 panfish limit...If it comes to that I'm out.Been fishing for almost 60 yrs.
    I would enjoy seeing limited development around lakes and streams.Habitat preservation and rehab for areas that have been degraded by development.The fisherman aren't the problem in my view.Same with hunting...deforestation and development is rampant and people have to say "enough" before our outdoor heritage is lost.

    • @AnglingBuzz
      @AnglingBuzz  3 года назад

      He sets it to low to finish in 6-8 hours and high for 3-5 hours. May take some experimenting depending on different crock pots but hopefully that gets you in the ball park. Enjoy!

    Talk about over fishing. I wonder, with the way technology is going, when does this become not so sporting-like.
    Combine more people fishing with more people using tech, its not difficult to predict a long term outcome on a fishery.

    • @tonyfreund6769
      @tonyfreund6769 3 года назад +3

      Thats when personal responsibility kicks in. Just because a limit of fish is established doesn't mean every outing requires you to take that. Keep what you need for a meal.
      As for available tech, all that is doing is showing you where the fish are, still have to catch them. Extra people means extra pressure. Fish become more pressured and will bite less or it takes a certain cadence of the lure to get them.

    Put the bird down and grab a livescope. It just doesn’t compare when it comes to ice fishing.
