Vietnam War Veteran Jim Bradford shows us his 1942 Willys GPW produced at a Ford factory. He shares the vehicle's interesting history -- including a Walt Disney connection.
Great video! My grandfather was an Army medic and his brother was a tail gunner in WWII. Grandpa got me into Jeeps back in '78 when my family and I visited my grandparents in Greenbrier, TN near Nashville. Grandpa had a '74 CJ-5 that he used on his land and occasionally to get to his job with Dupont as a master electrician for over 40 years. I remember bouncing around in that ole CJ-5, but I was 7 and loved every minute of it, and so did my older brother and sister. We never knew about that open air experience until that morning, no doors, no top, I was hooked! Now 52 with an '05 TJ Rocky Mtn 4.0L and its by far the best and my favorite vehicle I've ever had. My two boys love it too! My wife likes it when we take the family to the 4wd beach in the Outer Banks in the summer. 🌊🏖 The other 51 weeks, she's all about her Dodge Challenger. 🚘

@@tcsadventures My dad almost moved the family to Greenbrier in '79, but he and my mom decided not to uproot the family. Still, it was great visiting TN, a beautiful state with a lot to do.
