*100%!* Channel 5's no-nonsense, low budget quiz show which dispensed with all the fake niceties such as 'banter' with contestants and just got down to business. _The game show I should have gone on and really wish I had whilst it was still running._
On the regular 100%, the contestants were all in their 20s or 30s. I have a few questions about the spin-offs. On 100% Gold, other than the fact that the contestants were all over the age of 50, what other differences did that show have from the regular show? Also, on 100% Sex, were the questions about sex more knowledge-based or more survey-based?
For the record, 100% Gold was for the over 35s, not the over 50s. I was on it and I was 36 at the time. The questions were geared more towards the older contestant, so in today's terms, you'd be more likely to get a question about the Beatles than Lady Gaga. Other than that, the format was the same (I also did 100%). Wasn't aware there was a 100% Sex so wasn't on that!
It call 100%, not 1 million per cent and as for train tickets, people can get a cheaper deal, if you they book in advantage, A return from Scotland to London is only £55 pounds.
Expenses to and from London (it was recorded in Stephen Street, just off Tottenham Court Road) were paid to every contestant, not just the winner. And you got free food and (non-alcoholic) drink in the Green Room too, so even if you didn't win a prize, you at least had a fun day out for nothing.

bad timing! I got sick of Ian Lygo
I was on this but I cant remember exactly when. I still have the mug I won as a runner up.
This was still going as late as 2000???
finished in 2001

I always thought this was the cheapest gameshow of all time
Why does the winner only get a 100 pounds, is it a joke? Train ticket to get to the studio can cost more
