Great video! As mentioned previously, I returned my new denim key pouch due to the interior size difference. I believe the interior lining does not go all the way down to the exterior fabric. I measured the interior depth of my other LV key pouches (2 1/2 inches) and the new denim pouch (2 inches). I do tend to use the key pouches for gift cards, so the loss of interior depth mattered to me. I was sad to return it because it was a beautiful piece😍
thanks so much for your kind feedback on my video and cheers for sharing your story, it's so interesting to learn more from you. I totally hear you re the gift cards. I mean I could fit 8 gift cards easily in my original LV mono key pouch (which is literally over two decades old) as you see in my video, but for the denim 4 cards would be my max and probably to be on the safe side I might only put 2 in, so nothing would hamper the zipper. It is a beautiful piece but the more I studied it and compared it to my other key pouches, the shape of this denim KP is not exactly card friendly, which is kind of strange. As I mentioned above, in another comment, one lady told me she couldn't even fit one credit card in hers (it wouldn't zip up) and had to return it. After seeing my video, she said sh'd go in store to her local LV tomorrow to see if another denim KP piece would fit a few of her cards and then grab that specific one.
This is too expensive for something to house your gift cards. In fact, this is just too expensive for what it is. LV just got ridiculous with their pricing! This is the price of a compact wallet. The Romy Card Holder for example is less expensive and prettier in my opinion. The only thing the Romy doesn’t have is the key clip which I’ve gotten to rely on. They should’ve done something like the micro pochette. I missed out on the pink denim version but at least it was slightly larger.

I purchased it and for the price it’s almost useless but it’s so cute that I kept it
First off, I don’t like the look of the oversized leather tab in front. Secondly, I just don’t think it is worth the hefty price tag for what it is. Even the limited edition key pouches are less expensive and prettier too! This was a bomb in my opinion.
Agree to disagree... agree on the crazy price points of late by LV and let's throw in Chanel and Hermes for good measure too! Disagree as I personally love the LV denim mono and can wear this KP on my older denim LV bags as well, so for me I find it kinda perfect. Not everyone will all love the same thing though, but appreciate you taking the time to comment, and share your thoughts and check out the video 👍🏼
@@DonnaHeartsBeauty I didn’t say that I don’t like the denim. On the contrary, I do but I think it was over priced. If it were larger like the micro pochette then I would’ve been able to justify the cost. Sadly, I missed out on the pink denim version they released some time ago. The oversized leather tab in front was unnecessary and looks awkward. I can also see that taking a beating in time. I don’t think it’ll look good with wear and tear. I’m actually not a fan of leather which is probably why I’m not attracted to Chanel or Hermes. I prefer the canvas and even the denim.
@@monicae67 fair enough, thanks for clarifying and I am SO with you on the pink denim, as I do love and use my pink denim micro pochette a ton and you're also spot on in that it is bigger and fits more. Sorry to hear you missed out on one, I just got lucky grabbing mine, I was travelling at the time and it was the last piece in Sydney they told me. I am totally in agreement with you on the constant increasing prices, especially knowing what things cost even a few years ago to now. Hoping the price increase madness will stop, but who even knows! The way I look at things now is this, will I get my cost per wear out of it? So I try to let that be how I assess what I get going forward, if that makes any sense, hope it does.
@@DonnaHeartsBeauty I completely agree! If you get your money’s worth then it is worth it. My key pouch is my wallet and I use the heck out of it so I probably could’ve justified it if I loved it but it looks smaller than the regular key pouch and again that oversized tab just turned me off but when I saw the price, that basically made my decision not to purchase it. I mean it isn’t even leather. Leather at least is more expensive but I will say that if it were the micro pochette instead, I would’ve been all over it! 😂
I’m thinking of returning mine because of the size ..it doesn’t seem to hold much it’s a shame tfs
yeah I hear you totally. I've always just assumed that louis vuitton key pouches would maintain somewhat of a uniformed standard sizing over the years, but after getting all the questions on my IG and then making this video and comparing them, it's kinda crazy. One lady told me she couldn't even fit one credit card in hers and had to send it back. I'll mainly use mine as bag charm for now, as I do love the LV denim vibe and the fact that I can actually fit 4 credit cards in mine, I feel kinda lucky all things considering. Let me know what you end up doing with yours 👍🏼
