I purchased Trek 100 from decathlon , but only after 2 Trek shoe's sole started coming up and torn from many places, Except the sole the shoe is in very good condition. Is there any place where I can replace the sole with original one ?
I bought SH100 ultra warm which is only 2499 and it is really worth the price. I did Kedarkantha in December with that and it was awesome. Completely water and snow proof!
The way you Explain 😍 .. seriously .. I was Supposed to buy Hiking shoes for Sahyadri Treks. Do to Budget issue.. But now I'll wait Little bit More ..n Definitely go for Trek 100 😅
The sole of this particular shoes are of bad quality. After investing 5k I was expecting them to last long enough. But within 3 years (Post warranty) the sole completely ripped off in pieces. Now there are completely useless as decathlon does not offer any repair nor they were apologetic for selling such quality shoes when confronted in store. Not just me even my 7/8 cousins we all had bought the same shoes together before going for Sarpass Trek in May 2018. So I will suggest either save and go for brands such as Columbia, north face, etc or buy cheap ones so it doesn’t make you regret even if the shoes tear apart.
Is there a difference between male and female shoes of Decathlon. I am planning to buy NH150 for me and my brother. Decathon has male and female versions of same, but male version has completely different grooves
Women's shoes are designed differently considering the difference in shape of feet but this is not very prominent in a lot of cases and here its mostly about the color and those grooves, they dont really feel that different 😂! Go with whatever feels more comfortable I'd say. Theres a return policy, you can consider that in case they dont feel right
Men and women shoes are built on different last .. but if one has a narrow feet or very low volume feet then definitely worth trying … snug fit important that means lacing is very critical , can’t have loose fitting boots unless you want blisters .
Sole is not durable. I am not a regular hiker or trekker.but purchased it in 2018 for travelling in normal terrain as it is waterproof.i travelled only manali and sandakphu in normal terrain and this yr in lungchok and my shoe's sole is started to dammage with crack all over. With in 3 yrs my 6000/ is going to waste(same are in others also).Decathlon told me they will not change it as it has no warranty period now and would not repair it. And provided address of cobblar shop for repairing.I also purchased another shoe for my wife by 3500/. That 's sole damaged completely.Otherwise good.
@Hritik I am confused in selecting size. For instance 40 is a bit tight ans 41 is a bit loose. Could you please help. I know that only i will be bale to say the comfort but still it could have been best if 40.5 would have there.
You can try these below and use woolen socks and crampons with them when trekking on snowy trails. These have a tough sole and should work great all seasons www.decathlon.in/p/8384356/hiking-and-trekking-boots/high-top-shoe-leather-waterproof-crosscontact-ontrail-mt-womens?id=8384356&type=p
Mh500 is the best hiking shoe in the budget range and is great for moderate treks and hikes so its great to consider over trek 100 when treks are short and not that extreme
They have been great all this time, and since you are going for a new pair you can also consider the forclaz ones, that cost 1k more and are a bit more on the comfy and sturdy side!
@@hritikwadhwa which one brother, as today I went to buy these( trek 100), but was not able to as they were tight for me and when i went for one size bigger they were big for me. Now I am so confused.
To the point content. I have a budget of 2500. Went to decathlon, their SH100-ultra warm series is good but I don't know if its inside fur will cause me problem in summer treks because of heat. Any other suggestion? Decathlon also has other trekking shoes in thsi budget but it doesn't have criss cross grip on sole
Dont buy shoes with fur they are for extreme winters! You can try NH150 series of hiking shoes in that budget..One of my friends recently got the pair and is really happy with it.
