@EllweinEngines yes can you do it with HP or Holley? Put in all your base numbers for cam crank compression etc? I was curious because I plan on doing this very soon myself. I had read of a base tune by using software to let it no as a reference point.
If I read your question right...this info may help....I put a Holley Terminator X in a street rod with stock LT1 and the 24x system (TorqHead). I used the spark table from stock LT1 to populate the Holley spark table. I typed it in by hand. My tuning partner did the rest (VE and other fueling) but he had me populate the spark table from the factory LT1 table. (I used TunerPro or EEHack for that).
Injectors are too small. You are running 90.5% Inj Duty at only 5559 rpm. AFR is not responding to commanded AFR up top rpm. INJB2 ms drops off up top rpm. MAF might be maxing out as well. Speed sensor is mentioned.
I'm going to verify sold and steady fuel pressure at WOT. I did verify static pressure is good when I 1st received the car in the shop. But I did not verify at all running situations and more pressure will certainly help (or proper pressure if it is not providing enough).
Just validated fuel pressure and it is horrible. Drops into the 30 lb area at WOT. Fuel pump turned out to be stock and the wiring is a bit suspect. New Aeromotive pump installed with better wiring. Hope that fixes it. We shall see tomorrow when I take her for a test drive
Love these videos for many reasons thank you. I am just starting to learn tuning so I’ll be very interested to learn what I should have noticed.
Thanks,
She sounds really good!!!! Is there another way to load a base tune into it for a good starting point?
Do you mean load tune via software other than HPTuners?

The idle sounds great, and it seems it’s running like a top during the pulls. Recommend everyone buys stock in rubber.
Best advice I've heard all day. hahaha,😁

You got it pretty much right on. Injector too small, (and I specified this exact injector). MAF maxed out at 512 g/s right when O2 gets leaner.
Does it have a high flow fuel pump? That could help with it leaning out at idle and high rpm.

Testing this weekend.
