My 9 year old son has been making a rubber band ball for months. On Monday night it weighed 9kg and bigger than a basket ball. It was under his bed and when we got home today we found it had exploded like the inner rubber band ball exploded out of the outer bands - lots of bands broken into tiny pieces! Has anyone ever had a rubber band ball explode?
