I tell ya, Dean loved that boy no matter what anybody says. This isn't the only song he sang for Jerry.

This has to be one of my all time favorite clips of Dean singing. I love how passionately he sings to the picture. So much love in his voice and expression. And all of it for his partner, Jerry. Absolutely wonderful.

They had so much love for one another stronger than brothers right up to their deaths

All the talk about a feud between them. It was something but you know they loved one another until they died. They were so special

Same. Just knew it was going to be Jerry. You gotta love how well Dean sang the song as he stares at that picture! Pure love.

Colgate appeared to employ amateur cameramen AND soundmen. Dean goes in and out of microphone range during a lot of his numbers (including this one) and during the sketches, the camera people can never seem to find Jerry or Dean. Yes, it was live, but SNL seems to do an okay job and many other live shows were far better at capturing the mayhem of live TV. It just makes me wish I were in that studio audience all the more.
