if XReal doesn't get its software functioning correctly the actual tech will not matter. This is a long running issue. You cannot ignore the software by releasing new products over and over.

I have the beam Pro 8gb and the Air 2Pro and that combination is really good. There are some things that they do need to fix about the software like the play pause button disappearing temporarily and you have to click a bunch of times -sometimes- to get it back, But that's something that should be able to be fixed In the near future with an update. But it's a working experience and I love it for the price, It's not $4,000 after tax and I don't need to upgrade every year I can skip a year or two if I wanted to before upgrading again to whatever new product they have. I like they showed good improvement from their first gen

Funny, I was clicking into this clip in my xreal glasses 😆
And to the comment above who has clearly not even tried the product, yes, you would watch movies in them. Nothing like relaxing back in the sofa or bed and not have to care where the monitor is, and still be in the physical room.

Their website is a little confusing, with many versions of AR glasses. It’s not clear on differences in models. I like the idea, though they could be more clear about differentiating their products.

Wouldnt you rather have a donkey today and maybe ten years down the line also havr the Ferrari? Meta Orion is still a researched product. and may never come out.

    1. How does this affect eye strain (we already know staring at a computer all day can cause sight issues over a long period of time)?
    2. Do you really think people will watch a movie on these? Tech in the past half a decade has isolated people to new extremes starving people of human interaction. Humans are social creatures, products which inherently go against that will always fundamentally fail in the long run

People use Mobile phones all the time - Phones are not failing short or long term. Being social? Have you beimg in Big Screen or seen your kids play Gorilla Tag? VR is where social is.

That needs to be research further and these Chinese companies wouldn't spent penny or dime on health related studies.

Of course because you're not thinking of the right use cases, let's say you wanted to watch a movie or a TV show privately on your lunch hour when eating, This lets you do that with a giant amazing display that you can make it see through so you can see what you're doing or you can black it all out with a touch of a button. You can also browse the web on it, read on a huge display and so much more, If you connect us to your laptop you can extend the screen so now the screen inside the glasses is an invisible screen that separate from the main laptop screen that you have open, when you're on an airplane these are amazing for content watching, long train rides across states, a hotel room, If you're in your friends or family's guest room with no TV in it, The kids or your wife took over your living room TV.... You're in bed with your wife and she doesn't want the TV on because the brightness doesn't let her sleep.... There's a lot of use cases for these It all depends on how you want to use them.

I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of
information can be a big hurdle. I've been
making more than $100k passively by just
investing through an advisor, and I don't have
to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my
finances remain secure. So I really don't blame
      people who panic.
