This is an addictive thing Tina...I love how you mix up the papers and sewing and texture. And thank you SO MUCH for your super kind words...I had a lot of fun listening to you make this. GUYS, this is one to put in your PLAYLIST, hugs, joie xxx
Oh my gosh, this is so darn cute! I really love it and hearing you talk about how good it feels means I have to make one. Thank you so much. Really wonderful video!
these are absolutely beautiful - journal cards, pockets and tags can also be made with this - not to mention the cover of a journal lol - that would be fun to decorate - TFS be well xx
Tina, I LOVE these! They are fabulous as sheets, snippets or envelopes! Just gorgeous! I have to give them a try! Thanks for sharing the beautiful inspiration! 💖🌸💖
Love, love, LOVE your envelopes!!! What a fabulous idea to not have to cut up those beautiful snippet strip bases! Love the way you decorate them as well!
Oh my gosh! I love these. What a great idea! Just Brilliant!! So glad you found a way to keep them together. It's always nice to have options. Thanks again for sharing.
I love these soooooo much. I am thinking they would make beautiful envelopes for my adult grandchildren’s birthdays. Just slip a beautiful hand embroidered kerchief covering some money inside. Something to keep, something to use and something to spend. I am siked. I have one of those birthdays this month. Thank you. I am always happy and impressed when I see your videos. I’m sending you a virtual hug to say thank you for sharing.
Your envelopes are simply gorgeous, Tina! I'm so glad that you were able to find a way to use the whole beautiful page lol! These would make great pouches to pop in a small gift and a matching card/tag but these snippet pages would make a stunning journal/notebook cover! Now if only I was scared of my sewing machine... LOL Take Care X
Oh thank you so much Kylie, yes I really was pleased to keep them in tact and not cut them up. They are really versatile, I think they could be used for lots of different things, super addictive and fun to make too x
Looks like you used a new digital kit. I was thinking that these would make great journal covers. I still haven't been able to find the pearl trim anywhere. I found some similar that I can use. I am working on cards with tissue paper right now. And mlots more hidden paperclips and butterfly paperclips. He have had the hottest temperatures this summer for a few days and the power went out 2 days in a row for about 4 hours. Yesterday it went out for about 5 minutes and my husband went a few minutes away to buy dinner. He had to manually open the garage door to get his car out. Then the power went back on. It has been crazy but we are all fine.❤❤❤
I am pleased you found something to use for these, they are super fun aren’t they? How annoying to have 2 days in a row of a power cut, and for four hours, crazy! Thank goodness your husband managed to open the garage door even without the power! He would have been really hot 🥵 otherwise! I am so pleased that you are still doing safe and well, despite the heat! X
I love how these turn out, and what a great way to use up long strips we have from offcuts, I really want to try this, it just seems like there are always so many new ideas i can't find time to do them, I don't know how you do it! I also have 2 more of your kits I'm working on because i love your kits there right up my ally (style) But keep the videos coming I will try to keep up lol
These are super fun aren’t they? You can really play around with them and do lots of different things with them. I know what you mean about having time, sometimes just wish I could sleep for a few less hours so I could do more crafting! Lol x
Thank you so much for sharing this idea and tutorial. Your pockets are lovely. I have recently gotten enthusiastic about making junk journals and all the special eclectic touches that make them unique. I am a long time paper crafter and have made tons and tons of cards and done art journaling and scrapbook layouts but have now ventured into journals and mini-albums and I am so hungry for ideas and inspiration. I will be a new subscriber because it’s always wonderful to find fellow paper enthusiasts. There is no limit to the flow of ideas and I am eager to make these now. Again-thank you kindly!
Oh thank you so much, I am thrilled that you have found some inspiration here. I also started with card making and scrapbooking, but journals are EVEN more fun x
These look like a lot of fun, very quick and easy as well. You could cut them up and have lots of clusters as well - just layer on a few more things. Your envelopes are very nice will you put just clip them in your journal
The reason we use an odd number of elements in design is because when an even number is used the brain tries to balance it whereas an odd number confuses the brain and therefore makes it more pleasing to view.
These are gorgeous Tina. I love the envelope. My big problem is I don't have a sewing machine. I wonder if I can hand sew I can certainly try that, not sure it'll work. Love your ideas.
Hi Sandra 😊 You could always just glue them well and then using a fine marker of some kind, draw your stitches in. I that would be a lot quicker than hand sewing. Just a thought 🤔
@@shabbydabbydoodah Thanks Tina and the two other ladies for replying to my wee dilemma in not having a sewing machine. I don't know why I didn't think of other ways. My brain must have been in sleep mode lol.
Tina, I had a thought...why couldn't we make these paper clusters or snippets and sew them up just a little to make envelopes but envelopes we could undo the stitching (just undo the stitching of the envelope structure not the snippets) and make gifts for others; maybe "Happy Mail" and then in the envelope we could put some little clusters like You make. Just a silly thought of mine. TFS! Judyxx

Thank you Rachel for the explanation x
These are gorgeous Tina. I love the envelope. My big problem is I don't have a sewing machine. I wonder if I can hand sew I can certainly try that, not sure it'll work. Love your ideas.
Sandra Adamson they also make stamps that look like stitching that you could add for the look....or you could doodle them....
Hi Sandra 😊
You could always just glue them well and then using a fine marker of some kind, draw your stitches in.
I that would be a lot quicker than hand sewing.
Just a thought 🤔
Yes Sandra, I think gluing would work just as well, and yes, you could definitely use a pen as faux stitches x
