I am currently using this stitch to make a quick baby blanket. I really love it! I learned it from another RUclipsr video and unfortunately she did not go into the third row, so I did not realize I needed to end with a stitch at the top of the chain from the previous row. Because of that I do have edges that look a little different row by row but it’s still straight. The next time I use this stitch I will be sure to do it the way you have instructed. Thank you!
If you begin with a round of double crochet (US single crochet) then that will straighten the sides and you can then go ahead and add any border that you like 😊
thanks for the video all of your tutorials are so helpful to me and i would like to ask about this stitch it's really neat and i want to make a pair of fingerless gloves with it but i am not very clear how to transition to connecting it to make the bracelet-like start of it is it like the normal ones were we just insert the hook into the starting point and yarn over to connect them or is it different? and also if we connect the two ends do we connect them after making the first two rows stitch or connect it as a chain then stitch on it? sorry if the questions wording is confusing i just started not too long ago and hadn't really got all the different terminologies for crochet yet but please help me i already started on it and got stuck 😭

This is amazing truly ! Can this be done with half double? I would love to do this technique with the cardigans I have to make! 😳
I don’t have a tutorial for a half double version at the moment but will keep it in mind for future. It’s a great technique isn’t it 😊
Hi Sarah! Such a great hack! thank you so much for sharing with us!
You're very welcome :)
Clever... makes a big difference. Tfs
Thank you :)
So this basically feels like linked quadruple crochet (US terms). I’ve seen linked double crochet before, but never this. Very cool. Thanks!
You are very welcome :)
OMG, that's so quick and looks easy to do 😊 What kind of border would you put on it if was a blanket, that would help cover the non straight sides?

Thank you :)
Can you do this and show how you can do front post doubles?
Very clever
Thank you :)
would this technique use the same amount of yarn than doing a row at a time or would it use more?
It should use a similar amount 😊
Question. Would this work when working in circles? Like shirts and such?
I’ve not seen this method worked in the round before but it would work for flat pieces which could then be seamed together 😊
Hi do you have tutoring for princess Tiana babydress?
Sorry I don't have a tutorial for this :)
Hello. Would this work in scrunchies?
Yes, you should be able to use this technique when making a scrunchie 😊
@@bellacococrochet thank u ❤️❤️❤️
It’s difficult for me to see the dark colored yarn. I’m able to see lighter colored yarn much better.
Does this change the integrity of the piece at all?
No, it doesn’t change the integrity 😊
Hi would it be possible to do increase and deceeases?
I think the simplest way to make increases and decreases would be to work those rows using standard stitches 😊
why add additional 6 chains?
We would normally add three chains to bring us up to the correct height, but as we are working two rows at once we have to double that to six 😊
This was great but i was wondering if you could do the steps a little slower?
Did you know that you can slow down the video and/or pause so that you can catch up :)
Plz mam add english subtitle
You can have the subtitles show on the tutorial by clicking on where it says "cc" at the bottom left of the video :)
well i've been wasting my life..... looll
Love it
Thank you :)
