To be honest Dave, this was the video format I've always wanted watch from you. Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed all trucking videos of yours since I discovered the channel 2 - 3 years ago - hmm maybe not so much the videos you were in the passenger seat but they were also quite enjoyable - I'm glad this is the new format. I hope it will be here to stay. Stay safe! 💕
As a retired driver of the 70"s-10's it shows me the continuing changes that trucking goes through. So different from the old days. Don't think I would like being one today!😒🤔😥
I always hear people say CB radios are just full of idiots screaming at each other. Nice to see theres still people out there to help. Thanks for the video Dave!
@@outlawmafia6645 it's really funny right by the canadian border, i can receive bluetooth from a handheld CB in my helmet and it is the funniest shit to throw that radio in my backpack and listen to the truckers at the border yelling about border agents
Yes, I love this format of video. As a new driver it’s very helpful to watch and go along with the steps you take. Very informative. And Subway isn’t fast food. Lol. It’s like a salad on bread. 😂😂😂
This new concept gives a good insight of a truckers day at the office. And you seem more relaxed compared to driving for CFI. This may be good for you 👍👍
Dave been watching you for years, I agree this is by far a better format. I did enjoy watching you in the other videos, but watching your day is better then your banter in backing, ha!
Hey you probably don't remember me, but you inspired me to get my CDL a couple years ago. I will be starting my first driving job in about 2 months. Keep doing what you're doing, I'm sure I'm not the only one. p.s. Love the new video format.
I'm from the area you were in today. I use to teach at the school where you turned on to Broyhill. It's neat to see your hometown from another person's point of view.
27:00 visor troubles: I have a hand towel clipped to the edge of the visor with three binder clips. I can pull out a little bit of towel, or a corner, or whatever I need to block the sun from any angle. All tucked above and out of the way when not in use. Works great!
That pilot is in my neck of the woods, and that was the truck entrance. The car entrance is just as awkward so half the time cars just use the truck entrance/exit. Its a good thing you got there at night because they have been working on that bridge for years and its often got traffic locked down.
Now this is a video, I really enjoyed the new format, keep up the good work.. hopefully in 1 of your videos you could show how you do your pre-trip for the new truckers?? Keep up the good work, drive safe
Enjoyed the change of format , I’ve driven day cab since 1990 , so I enjoyed and appreciated what you OTR guys go through , can’t wait for next video , also I’m putting my CB back in , so I can give ya a holler if I see online .
Love the new format Dave I think their docks are like where I work. We only have a painted line for the drivers side only that other line was mostly for the dock next to you
Yes. Lemonade. LOL. Do love this format. however i haven't disliked any video you've ever made. So make what you enjoy making. I'll be here watching. To get the rolls our. they have a forklift attachment that looks like tongs
I prefer getting the big jugs of water, best lemonade holder. Or gatorade bottles. Those water bottles can work, but you are playing with fire with that small opening lol.
Liking the new videos showing a little of everything! I used to run forklift/clamptruck and unload rolls of paper like that. Our biggest rolls were 60” diameter 103” tall and about 7000 lbs each.
I like it, it’s a better look into what everyone else does, being from the LTL world this is a far cry from the way we go about things, I appreciate you sharing the extra content.
Definitely fell off for a bit, tucked away the cdl dreams for a bit but you crossed my mind and decided to check in lol, glad to see life's been fair to ya! Keep Rollin bro happy to see ya at it!
The new style is way cooler. Not saying your old style was bad, but it didn’t offer the glimpse inside the true trucking life like your new style does. Keep up the great work! Your vid’s are awesome
This is 100% better format, nothing against plain Ole driving videos but those get boring after awhile nothing against it but there's those that are looking to get into trucking wanting to get the whole experience, even though 95% of the time it's just driving and dealing with shipping and receiving people.
Go Pengs! Secondly they have a lift that goes around those rolls that are actually shaped contour to the roll itself. It's actually pretty neat. I do otr for a company out of Columbus, we have apus in our trucks with 3000 watt inverters. I have my whole computer rig up in this beast lol
Farmer Dave,I'm digging the new content. I started watching you video when you rode your motorcycle. I'm going to a MSF course in April. Can you make more motorcycle riding videos? Stay safe and keep the rubber side down!
Really enjoy your videos becuase I’m a mechanic for jb hunt and I’m on trailer side so I do all of the repairs from tires to swing doors to side panels on cargo trailer so I really enojo y watching all of your videos because it put me in the other position and gives me a insight to the other side of this field thank you for everything you do boss man keeping the world moving
Love the new format! The CB reminds me of my late grandfather. He had a CB in his car and in his house (he was an electrician). I live at his house now and the huge antenna is still there lol. Do you play American Truck Simulator? I started playing it and I'm hooked.
Mechanix gloves, Dave. Used them in Iraq and never went back. Love 'em! LOL! Yeah, a CB was a big deal back in the 70's and early 80's when I was driving. I worked for my step Dad and he wouldn't have a CB in his truck. He said "I don't want one, it crackles all day and all night and those SOB's NEVER shut up....."
Videos will have the option to view in 4k from now on!
I get to watch Dave in 4k! Thanks Dave we appreciate that!
big fan
Hey you are hilarious dude love your videos dude I bet you smell that def fluid huh dude pretty smelly huh?
Hey dave you ever thought about becoming an owner operator?

i love this style of video, feels way more cozy and personal
I love the new style of the videos! It really gives us a good look on how a truckers day to day life looks like!

I always hear people say CB radios are just full of idiots screaming at each other. Nice to see theres still people out there to help. Thanks for the video Dave!
Depends on where you are in the country, a lot of it is funny to me lol
@@outlawmafia6645 it's really funny right by the canadian border, i can receive bluetooth from a handheld CB in my helmet and it is the funniest shit to throw that radio in my backpack and listen to the truckers at the border yelling about border agents
Man do not stop being you Dave. I absolutely love your videos.
Im only 40 seconds into the video and already love the new style.
21:49 “Lemonaade” ooookaay mhm suuuure 😂😂🤌🏻
Loving that format, I imagine it must be a bit more difficult to edit but it is really enjoyable to watch!
Thats a good driver. Alot of drivers today tend to be assholes. He seemed to be genuinely friendly.
I love this format better
Man seeing that just shows the brotherhood that is trucking. I still have some regrets about not driving and handing in my CDL a month ago.
This format is way better you should keep doing videos this way . Videos like this i can sit up watch and eat popcorn 😂
Love the new video layout! It’s cool seeing how you go about day to day
Nice change of pace for the videos. Feels like we are actually riding with Dave for the full feature of adventures in a day.
Never thought I’d see you here
I’m so excited for the new video format to see something different because ive watched all of your videos.
Hype! 🔥🔥🔥 The trucker that helped you is so nice! Keep it up bud!
Yes, I love this format of video. As a new driver it’s very helpful to watch and go along with the steps you take. Very informative. And Subway isn’t fast food. Lol. It’s like a salad on bread. 😂😂😂
Love the new videos.. I don’t mind long videos.. since you don’t upload frequently.. it’s nice being spoiled to a long video.. you’re awesome!
You are my favorite trucker ever!!! Thanks for always making great videos
This new concept gives a good insight of a truckers day at the office. And you seem more relaxed compared to driving for CFI. This may be good for you 👍👍
Definitely love the new format. Feels so much more complete. Thanks, I know it's a lot of work to do this.
Dave been watching you for years, I agree this is by far a better format. I did enjoy watching you in the other videos, but watching your day is better then your banter in backing, ha!
i think i might could watch a 3 hour long video of dave's life his personality is just amazing
This new format is just absolute tops! Definitely enjoyed it and would love this format going forward!
Hey you probably don't remember me, but you inspired me to get my CDL a couple years ago. I will be starting my first driving job in about 2 months. Keep doing what you're doing, I'm sure I'm not the only one.
p.s. Love the new video format.
I like it when you show more of your day I wish I could drive a tractor trailer but I am disabled
The new format is much appreciated. Get that ps5 in there! :)
I'm from the area you were in today. I use to teach at the school where you turned on to Broyhill. It's neat to see your hometown from another person's point of view.
I like this new layout of video as someone who’s headed to training for CDL it makes me more comfortable and gives me an idea as a future trucker 👍
Love the new style. And remember if YOU ever don’t want to do it for whatever reason (time, mood, whatever), just do the OG style. Either is awesome🤘
Love the format man, just cool to see your day. Heck I wouldn’t even mind an hour long video one day lol
Hey Dave I like all your videos please don't be scared to do this format
this new format is more into depth, liking it Dave!
27:00 visor troubles: I have a hand towel clipped to the edge of the visor with three binder clips. I can pull out a little bit of towel, or a corner, or whatever I need to block the sun from any angle. All tucked above and out of the way when not in use. Works great!
15:58 Dave Scootin in that Volvo around that curve😭😂

This is 100% better format, nothing against plain Ole driving videos but those get boring after awhile nothing against it but there's those that are looking to get into trucking wanting to get the whole experience, even though 95% of the time it's just driving and dealing with shipping and receiving people.

Love the new format! The CB reminds me of my late grandfather. He had a CB in his car and in his house (he was an electrician). I live at his house now and the huge antenna is still there lol. Do you play American Truck Simulator? I started playing it and I'm hooked.
I did before I was a driver but now I have no interest in virtual driving on my off time lol.
I've just noticed that you're finally driving the truck from the intro of your videos
Hey Dave. You should put your laptop on a flat surface. Not to block the vents on the bottom, for cooling. Fun watching your videos
Enjoying this style of your video!
Yess I like these type of videos please keep doing them
Please bring this style back!
Best video yet bro keep ‘em coming
😂 Farm Sim while waiting for a door is the best. IDK how it goes for you dry van guys, but for us reefers we have some serious down time some places.

Mechanix gloves, Dave. Used them in Iraq and never went back. Love 'em! LOL! Yeah, a CB was a big deal back in the 70's and early 80's when I was driving.
