Bobcat actually gives you an in cab option for pedals or hand controls for arms and bucket. New Holland back when was only pedals for the bucket and arms.
It's only got 2 wheel drive.
I still remember seeing my first 4X4 pickup in 1975.
You had to special order then.
Yet everyone got where they were going with a standard truck or Suburban with a set of studded snow tires on the back.😂
The impact truck extender those box's have storfoam in them & the box & frame are made to colaps saving your truck from the impact of a passanger vehicle.
That truck tail gate also gives you other options.
When I'm working building demolition with the dumpsters, there is usually 1 of those kinds of dumpbox also in the rotation to get loaded
Or just snag that John Deere with the thumb, and start your own demolition division

Good to see the old dump trucks on august the 14th I was loaded with rock and got stuck by lightning flipping the truck into a ditch hurting my back pretty bad still off work doing physical therapy now

You two are like any couple looking at appliances, which I'm sure you've done many times before. Keep the 1977 W9 for truck shows and bringing gravel to your friends house. Get a driver for the other truck. You know the truck you have is okay. Let someone drive it and you drive the new one.
When we lived in England my kids road a double decker bus to school and back. They always thought that was pretty cool.
Not only does that John Deere Mini Excavator not have a John Deere Engine, The Excavator is actually a John Deere paint Scheme over a Hitachi Excavator. 😁

Some people dont know,but John Deere & Hitatchi are the same machine just different names. You can take any part off a Deere & install in on Hitachi. At my work we just got a brand new John Deere 870P excavator, it whieghs at 188K & some change. The turn table has a Hitachi tag thats on it.

I was watching you video and when you opened the hood to the orange kenworth I saw you stand on the top of the bumper a crazy thing happen to my mechanic he did the same thing with steel toed boots and the hood opened fast and both feet were stuck between the hood and bumper and he went over and was stuck hanging horizontal by himself with a badly broken wrist all he he could do was yell for help til someone finally heard him I can only imagine what could have happened just thought of that when I seen you feet there be careful 👍

To be surprised with them things can do. I used to pick up blasting sand from aluminum tags factories. And they load my truck and pup with bobcat.
And you talk about leaks and dust. Make sure you wet it down good and tarp it. Especially around the tailgate..

The bobcat boom and bucket controls can be switched to the joysticks. Alot of equipment comes with control selections of different makes.
I ran a BOBCAT that had the switch on overhead. The problem with them, or should say the one we had, you still pushed the levers forward and back for travel. It was side to side for lift and dump, so Bobcat was still a learning curve. Maybe on newer ones they did like all other skid steers, one lever was a joystick for forward and turn. The other lever was a joystick for raising and lowering the bucket. Again the bobcat we had, it was side movement of levers to raise and lower the bucket. I heard that Landscape workers liked the foot pedal control for the front bucket.
That is far from a grandma car…. I wish they had auctions like that close to where I’m at in Michigan. there’s a lot of stuff at that auction.

You were smart buying the ( SANY) excavator. Very affordable if you compare costs of machinery. Some of those excavator will probably sell at Murphy's for more than you payed for the ( SANY) new. In my humble opinion, dump trucks are supposed to have stick shifts. They just WORK.
How can you tell this is a majority men subs. They talk about Bobby's wife like she does not read the comments. And I do not think she is high maintenance like some have said. She just likes nice things and she busts her butt for those nice things. Keep up the great work guys.

You are supposed to dump the air bags just before you dump the load. Supposedly you can pop the bags when you quickly dump the 15 tons of dirt and the chassis jumps up. Bet you wish you had this truck now, since the T800 tree wreck...
