I love the fact that the water isn’t simply one color, there are darker and lighter areas to signify deeper and shallower waters, really helps bring this thing to life
The water is the single most impressive thing, the depth they created with the different colors really ties the entire scene together. Love the big fortress too, so detailed!
I built the 2x size Barracuda Bay, and it's sitting on 6 blue baseplate. More baseplate than I ever owned as a kid. My kids saw this video and fell in love with this setup. "It's so much bigger than ours!" they kept saying. I had to explain that it took at least 6 people to do this and they all spent thousands! Go fix the stuff in our Barracuda Bay (which had suffered when a cousin was over) and they went and played at the Lego table for hours. They want to go to a convention now. These builds really inspire. They have so much water, I'd love to see another few islands on the edges or a dock setup with a pirate cove.
The scale of this build is impressive. The water looks great with those thousands of tiles. The fortress in an amazing build and really needs a video of it's own. It hard to see the details of the fortress with its location, but it really does look great in the middle of the build, surrounded by the water.
The metal bars in the background had me convinced that the light blue tiles were actually water, and despite seeing it sat on the black fabric of the table, it still looks like there's actual water! It's so impressive!
Amazing collab - well done! My brain is melting a bit thinking about how many trans light blue tiles were required for the water (and my fingers hurt a bit thinking about putting them all on!).
This is an awesome build! Camera does not do this build justice. I was there in person for that whole weekend and this is still one of my favorite Collaboration builds
Joseph you are one of my heros. Thank you so much joshua and John. I will continue to grow and become a better man, and maybe one day I will join you all! LEGO ❤ for LIFE
Before I say anything this is possibly one of my favorite mocks I've ever seen I absolutely do not mean this in a negative way this build way outpaces anything I could have done I only want to say the dock area could have really popped if they added a few different shapes of one-by-one rounds and square pieces in different variations of Grey to look more like a bunch of Pebbles and give a little more texture the water is absolutely stunning though and I've probably watched this video a dozen times now just because it's so amazing
The only thing they should have done on the pirate cove that was missed is putting in some led lights so we can actually see into the buildings! I highly recommend that the person who does this channel bring a very strong long throw flash light to light these areas up. I also recommend you take some photos to through up mid video.
I NEW THAT WAS CALLED El Dorado I HAVE THAT SET although this reaction doesn’t have the yellow or is French I still LOVE IT! But this also better cause it has more room
If they aren't able to access the interior portions, they could almost incorporate those little cavity cameras along with images on a screen. Not sure if that would be possible.
I was thinking of all the lego people on that island... If you calculate one of the little round brown pieces as the lego poop each of those lego people excrete every day, within a few weeks you could build a lego poop castle with all of it.

Reminds me of Minecraft
And the fact that its not blue but more turquoise/light blueish
I think it looks great
Reminds me of sea of thieves
It would’ve looked like an easy way to fill up space if they didn’t do that.

Oh crap, hold onto ya brickies

I'm always amazed by the pure size of the builds.

Great project. Lego really needs to bring back the Pirate theme sets in 2023, hopefully they can include a decent mix of town/fort sets, and ships
The water around Rock Island is absolutely awesome! And how you can see the sunken ship below the water! Good technique there!
Pirate lego were my favorite lego theme and builds as a kid.
I love pirate builds. Always cool to see the Islanders again!
Amazing collab - well done! My brain is melting a bit thinking about how many trans light blue tiles were required for the water (and my fingers hurt a bit thinking about putting them all on!).
It looks like they may be trans blue base plates
I take it back!
About a 104,000 TLB tiles
The whole build is absolutely awesone but that "Shark island" was on another level.
Awesome to see a group come together for a large scale build like this. Looks very nice!
6:10 That mario fish are so cute :D
Absolutely love that islander island! And the water too... shiver me timbers...
Was great seeing this display in person and all those trans blue tiles over 100k of them. That's dedication. 😀
I clocked that Mario ship in the first minute of the video, and I love it! Well done. This is such an excellent build!
That shark island looks incredible!
Excellent - as lots of others have said the water is the stand out feature.
Would be nice to see some landforms - it's too flat but it really looks great. What a lot of work!
Dam! This looks incredible!!
They all did a amazing job!
Maybe they could do Pirates of the Caribbean’s TORTUGA as a future moc?
Great colaboration. This is really what I like with LEGO: A childhood fantasie pieced together.
She did an amazing job

The islanders are sooooooooo cool, the best part of this MOC for me, lovely details and this giant tiki mask 🤩

Keep up the Great work.
I think the guy with the 3k red coats blow most people's clone armies out of the water kinda insane.
I loved that I saw those wooden tubs floating around brings back memories
Mouth dropping, just amazing, tons of details and stories. 🔥🔥🔥
I need to be able to give this more than one upvote!
I would love to see this entered into my county fair. Grand prize all day!

Big inspiration for my LEGO Village!!! Great work!!!
Nice to see you on beyond the brick again kat
my most favorite part of the brick fair was the pirate cove reminds me of my childhood
by far the best "banana in the tree" set upgrade i've seen!
would be amazing to have a small camera/light go through that larger fortress inner details!
This building is amazing!
"Shark island" love it! Straight out if "Zelda Wind Waker"!
Stunning!
Love that this dude has 10,000 wolverine claws
Thank You, for being a lego creator !
11:50 maybe some lights inside the fortress could raise the "watchabillity"
Amazing ! so so impressive !
That is amazing! If I were wealthy and had lots of time, money and space, I would probably spend most of my time building LEGO MOCs.
We all would do that! :-)
So awesome, love the hook shop.
"Babe, come to bed, I have a suprise for you"
"Not now honey I'm currently working on a giant historically accurate pirate lego set"
wow i love the ships, did they ever do official ship legos like that?
Search for La Grenouille moc ;)
@@arnaud18201 very cool
The imperial Flagship 2010 would be the closest set, but unfortunately lego hasn't done anything that realistic yet...
Several of the Pirates of the Caribbean ships are very nice.
@@bz6046 cool
sometimes I watch these and imagine how they thought of something like that to build
This is literally a dream build for me.
phenomenal work everyone involved.
Sails made of Technics bricks - brilliant!
oh my, jawdropping...
Almost all of the ships in that build were designed by moc your bricks
a bit disappointed that they neglected to mention that

That claws, my god. :D
The castle looks amazing
Verry nice building. An cool Pirates 🤩👍
I live the new intros!!!!

Sometimes i wish i could transform people into minifigs
And live in those lego towns 😁
Love your videos. Greetings from Germany. 👍🏻
I’m getting AC Black Flag vibes from this
Very good modeling. ,👍😊

This is darn cool! Is there any shows that display huge diaromas here in UK!? Never seen them before. Amazing work!!
2:00 I remember that old piece!!!
Damn this is amazing
so cool!!!
absolutely epic! was there an estimated brick count?? I heard them say over 100,000 bricks for the ocean alone
amazing work art
Aw man I live in Virginia had no idea this goes on here! Can't wait to take my son.
Nice !!!
very nice!
I miss the old theme sets when they weren't locked into the Ideas section.
only thing this pirate build needs, is pirates
I NEW THAT WAS CALLED El Dorado I HAVE THAT SET although this reaction doesn’t have the yellow or is French I still LOVE IT! But this also better cause it has more room

Is that a new opening? I like it!
Can u please tell me how u make that water part?looks amazing.
Type in AFOL Beach tutorial they do something similar
11:00 I really want to see the inside
Banana and the tree too funny.
love the new intro
Cool new opening!
I dont have the space and the money to build something like that but I wish I did and hope one day I will because that looks really cool
You know, you know, you know, you know?
Yes, we know.
If they aren't able to access the interior portions, they could almost incorporate those little cavity cameras along with images on a screen. Not sure if that would be possible.
where did u get the ships from ? i wanna build some xD
Where did you get those minifig😮
Thoes ships were made by MOCYOURBRICKS I hate when people don’t give credit when they take other peoples designs
amazing
Awesome

At first I thought the brown warehouse in the port was an auction block for a slave market. That would have been a pretty grim bit of realism.
