I'd like to Thank you Roger for sharing your skills and love for the manufacture process. I have built two CNC machines so far but haven't really wrapped my head around the design process but ill keep at it and watching your videos will help and have already. When I was 12 back in 92, I woke from a sleepover at my best friends place to hear this strange noise eminating from my friends Dads office, so I crept down and peeked into Bills office and saw the coolest machine ever! A apple IIe with this lathe making strange noises and movements! Bill was the head of engineering at my local TAFE here in Mildura Australia. Well from that moment on I knew what I wanted to do but life changed, and I realised back then how much it would have costed to have said CNC, but now;)
Thank you for this video in which we learned a lot about how to use MACH3 and to set up 3d carving. I think it is also possible to perform CNC using a laser for alignment.
great video + presentation +explanation! well done mate! new SUB 🙏🏻
Awesome, thank you!
Hi Roger watched many of your videos and I think they are great. I appreciate what you do and thank you for doing it. I live in Nova Scotia Canada and wondering if you ever ran across this problem trying to program a Foinnc m350 (ddcs expert). while setting up the controller it will not boot up now. all it says on the screen when turned on is starting. you can leave it there for an hour nothing changes. last place I was at was in the directory looking for a file fndx/y/z/a/b.nc . when hit all reference home the z axis was not going home first. did not change anything in there started working on setting up probe had to leave turned off. next day went to turn on and all it does is show starting.
Thanks Darrell
