    How does a closeup at the finish look like after you rubbed it with tripel and pumice? Ist very even or can you see in a certain light scratchpatterns?

      thanks, but this is only one way to finish a violin, there are many other ways, such as French polish etc. I will make more videos later. Please follow.

    Please i have question for you regarding the final finish always whin i do the final finish with the oil varnish i see small dirt on the violin even if i clean the violin from any dust before painting why is that happend can you know

    What kind of oil varnish they use in Japan? You make your own varnish? Because u mention that there is no spirit varnish in there.

    Dear Mr. Daniel, I am so gratefool for Your videos. I play the acoustic guitar. And I am 38 years old. I live in Serbia. I admire violins as an instruments and I use to look for some devastated just to mend them and put them together again. Annuway, Your videos are so great tha I am planning to take classes for violin and try to do some better restorations. My problem is tah in My town there is only one man who restores violines. He says that varnish and tools are so exspencive that I will never be able to restore violines. Do you have some advice whwre can I find some tools and materials for beginning? Maby E-bay our simmilar?
