Thank you Dennis, you have helped this 75 year old lady with her 16 year old Husqvarna birthday gift, from her husband, running smooth. Keep up the great work explaining how to service my mower.
Dennis, you are very in tune with maintaining your mower. 90 percent of guys are very poor with the maint. required to keep their equipt. running. One tip I will share is NOT to wash your mower with water especially on top of your deck. Water is very fluid and will seep into your deck spindle bearings. Bearings are sealed to keep out dust dirt etc. but not water contrary to belief, a small amount will rust and wash the grease out. I use an air compressor to blow all the build up after every cutting. Engine, deck, and transmission. I only wash maybe once a year but follow with air to dry out. Just my 2 cents.
Thank you Dennis for the info..you are my "go to guy" on servicing my Husqvarna..you have saved me $$$..again thank you for making detailed easy to understand videos
Dennis, you have no idea how helpful this is! I'm a 72 year old man learning, for the first time, how to use a riding mower, same brand as yours, and this video is really well done. Bravo to you! I'll be watching all your vids.
Just want to say "Thanks," these videos are so helpful and well-done, answers all the questions before you can ask them or think of them. THANK YOU!!!!
I have been watching Dennis for about over a 1year . Because of his videos talking about his Hasqavarna and my research we went out and purchased our Husqavarna ts348xd. Bought it in April 2020. Just wanted to say Thanks Dennis for all your work on making Great videos on the Husqavarna
Thank you so much Roger! I have a video that goes thru the setup and things to check for a new mower. You may find it helpful: ruclips.net/video/a-sRKmL4LLU/видео.html
Sir...You have turned me into HBIC when it comes to my mower...I have learned A LOT, and shook my head at myself on things I've let go...i have never owned a new mower...well, in 2018 I bought my first one...YOUR MODEL...so you are my go to man! Thank you for doing every maintenance step for this mower...right down to the ones I didn't think were out there...Today I did a oil change, 2 spark plugs...(22 B & S), fuel and air filter, new belt and new blades and greased...and it only cost parts....where a shop would tripple it... I am SO proud..and actually keeping that chart. Thanks for the way you teach...even I can easily understand.. ( I hate those belt guards too!) \
That is really fantastic, Maria!! You should be very proud of yourself for tackling and accomplishing these jobs...way to go!! Thank you so much for watching and supporting my channel. I really appreciate that and your kind words!
I just bought a husqvarna yth20k42 and I was researching husqvarna mower reviews and I came upon this channel. I subscribed immediately without hesitation. Dennis, you have been very informative about how to keep the mower in top notch condition. Thanks a bunch.
Thanks for the Lubrication video. I have an Ariens 19hp Lawn Tractor and although I thought the steering teeth should be lubed, I kept trying to find an additional grease fitting. Manual was no help, but your video showed how and affirmed that the teeth should be greased (& kept so). Valuable info. Thank you.
Good video. I might add two things. When greasing the steering kingpins I always raise the front of the machine and let the wheels and axle hang free so that the grease gets into the contact areas. There also is likely a fitting in the middle of the front axle to lubricate the pivot. If you jack up the machine by the frame it will unload this area allowing the grease to get into the contact areas. By doing this maintenance the tractor will steer like new for a long time. Thanks for posting.
THANK YOU! My cousins told me to grease the zerks. What zerks? Where? Thanks to you, I am armed with the necessary info to go forth and grease. There are at least 4 manuals to this Ariens (Husqvarna) Hydro Tractor with NO obvious instructions and its guys like you who help me maintain a tractor I can't afford to replace any time soon.
Excellent video, thanks! One suggestion. I was really new to this, and didn't know how to remove the grease gun once connected. Watching your video a few times explained it, but having it explained would have saved me some frustration.
Thank you for providing this video! You are the best explainer and teacher ever! I'm a woman by the way. Thank you. Your information and explanations really helped me. 👍😊
Thanks you so much! I'm glad this video helped and thank you for watching. I have several other videos about this mower...just go to my channel page and click on 'playlists'...I have a whole series on Husqvarna tractors. Thanks again!
Dennis, excellent videos on your husqvarna oil change and maintenance! While watching the videos, I said to myself, "I like this feller, he's alright". Then I saw your last name and knew your were alright, lol I'm certain our families bridge somewhere down the tree. Keep up the excellent work. You get right to the point, very informative and don't waste any time. Have a good one!
Thanks Jagger!! I appreciate your comments. My Coffey line comes thru Virginia (from Ireland, of course) back around 1650. We were in Virginia until my Dad migrated south. No doubt we're related somewhere back there! Nice to meet a cousin!
Dennis Coffey yes Sir, our Coffey line comes from Ireland as well. There used to be a free “CoffeyCousinsClearingHouse” on the web. I found out we are from the Edward Coffey line.
Yes, I think most of us in the US are from Edward's line. The Cousins are still around.....coffeycousins.blogspot.com/ My Dad and I both have done a lot of research on this side of the 'pond.' :) I'd like to take some time an do a bit or research in Ireland.
Dennis Coffey Yes, Inwouldnlike to know more myself. You can find us on Facebook “Jagger Angela Wells Coffey” or my email address is j a g g e r c o f f e y @gmail.com. Of course without the spaces so webcrawlers won’t start spamming me to pieces.
Well done Dennis. Clear, to the point, and well edited. Good point about cleaning the transmission cooling fins. I will check mine the next time I have my deck out. One thing I do is use my petrol leaf blower to clean the clippings, debris etc from the mower rather than washing it with water. Less rust. Thanks.
Hey Mark, thanks for watching! A couple of other folks have mentioned that too and I've started using a blower when the clippings are dry. If its wet out when I cut, I end up using the hose to clean off the deck still. But I agree with you....the blower does a much better job getting all the loose stuff out of hiding places on the deck! Thanks again!!
Dennis I really like your how to videos. I have searched the web for the word Glopping, could not find it anywhere, please explain. LOL . . . just kidding.
I use my leaf blower to clean off the deck after every use. Like the suggestion about cleaning the rear of the under carriage. It is very important for hydrostatic driven transmissions.
Thanks for the videos. I bought my first rider this year, a Husqvarna. So I'm going to go over it with your tips, and make sure all is good. Thanks again!
Hey my first Husky ride-on also! I used to sneer at these folks using a big ride-on to cut their small lawns. For the past 40 years I've been using push mowers (a HusqHonda and a 30 year-old Briggs$Stratton- STILL STARTS ON FIRST PULL!) It's not so much that at 80 yrs old, I can't do the job anymore, but It just TAKES too long with a push mower!
Hey, thanks for this video, I always look under my stuff for Grease fittings and some equipment like this are sealed and self lubing so I never saw these fittings on my husqvarna yth18542 ,which I believe is smaller version of yours,a 42” deck. Mine is going on its 3rd season and I’ve never greased the front end 😮. I’m definitely going to do this b4 I mow again this week
I like your style bro. Never thought about greasing the steering gear on my Husqvarna 48 inch ( I mean my wife's )You just got yourself a new subscriber!✌🏻️
Good to see you wipe the zerk fittings off before greasing. Most people (the auto shop) don't do this and you'll see galling on a shaft right at the grease point (if you ever disassemble it.) Good video by the way and thank you. I have a high quality shopvac that I use with the hose hooked up backwards (in reverse) to blow off debris. If you use a crevice tool on the end of the hose, you can get as much as 25 pounds of pressure for cleaning. That way you don't have to use a hose to flush the machine off.
I agree about the zerks...also, not wiping them forces all that grit into the very thing you're trying to lubricate. Thanks for watching and thanks for sharing the tip about the shop vac. Great idea!
Good info. I grease my mower fittings regularly, but not the steering. Will start doing that from now on. I would hesitate to wet my deck down for cleaning on a regular basis. I clean mine after every use with a high volume blower and its stays clean.
Thank you for watching! Yes, a blower is a great way to keep the deck clean. I have a lot of shade in the back, so my grass is often wet when I cut. Makes it necessary to use the hose usually. Thanks!!
I use my STIHL Blower to get the clippings and any foreign material that might've accumulated during the Mowing. After watching you locate the grease fittings, I need to now look for mine more closer Dennis. I thought I only had 2 but now I"m not so sure. Thank you for pointing them out.
Hey Dennis. Well, I done it. I got my YTH22V46 Husqvarna lawn tractor today from Rural King. Borrowed my bosses trailer and got it home. Needed a new one real bad like cause I Flipped my other one End over End last year. It was close but it didn't get me. I was on a steep hill and got stuck 3./4 of the way up and when I pressed the left pedal which controls the drive train, I started rolling backwards,,,then I let it out to go forward and that's when it went end over end on me. Anyway, I won't be mowing that hill anymore. Thanks again for the very important information on this lawn tractor. It will be a big help in my future maintenance plans.
Wow Joe!! I'm sure glad you weren't hurt! I have one steep hill that I mow and I'm very careful with it....I've decided this year that I'm installing terraces with flower beds so I don't have to cut it. Your story confirms that is a good idea. Hopefully all goes well with your new mower and you like it as well as I do mine!
So about cleaning under the plastic guards on the mower deck.I was out of sorts with my machine because it doesn't cut clean. It leaves spitters ,grass stems standing up after mowing. When i went to the parts house to buy a new spindle,i asked what does a guy do to clean under the guards and the reply was "use a leaf blower"...Works like a champ then spray it down with water to get the dust. Good video thanks...
Great idea John!! Especially if everything is dry. My biggest problem is when the grass is wet...then I just use the garden hose.....but, I like your idea....maybe just better to let things dry out and then use the blower. I'm trying it!! Thanks!!
This is a great video, I lubricated my spindles and wheels yesterday following your steps. The grease gun was a tool I have never used before and I had a hard time releasing the grease gun hose from the zerk fitting, but I finally figured out it due to pressure and was able to resolve the issue. I was looking through the owners manual for other maintenance items and there were a couple things that it doesn't go into detail about like checking the muffler/spark arrester, transaxle cooling fan, and engine cooling. Can you do videos on these other maintenance items?
Hi Cliff, thanks so much for watching and commenting. I have a video about loading grease into a grease gun that may come in handy down the road.... ruclips.net/video/G9VHehhSuCU/видео.html That's a task that can end up messy. :) As far as the other items go....the muffler is basically an inspection item. You're looking for excessive rust, especially perforations, etc that may indicate replacement is necessary. Regarding the transaxle cooling....basically you want to make sure there is no debris, clippings, etc accumulated on top of the transaxle that would hinder proper cooling. Same basic idea with engine cooling as well....just make sure grime, sludge, clippings etc are not accumulated on or around the engine preventing it from getting maximum air flow. I'll do my best to make a video showing these procedures next time I go thru my tractor. Thanks Cliff!
Thanks again for your video. Itwas very easy to follow. Unfortunately I busted one of the front wheel's zerk grease fitting (rookie mistake), but I learned a lot regardless. Your time and effort is greatly appreciated!
I use high pressure compressed air to COMPLETELY clean off the deck and spindles and all other areas of my tractor each time I am finished using it. Yes, the running out of gas at end of season is great to stop carb gunk and I always use STABIL in my gas. Mine is a TS348XD.
Hi Bob, thanks for watching. I have not yet, but I've had several people ask me to do one. I'm ordering a drive belt and will do a video soon. Thank you!
I have the same model - love all you videos - very helpful - I am not a handyman but I took the deck off and back no hitch. I use a electric leaf blower after each use to blow out that area you talked about (PULLEY GUARDS) seems to work great. I had to take bolt off my deck when I removed it - couldn't get that clip off. Keep up the great videos Dave from Wisconsin
Thank you Dave, I really appreciate the nice feedback! Another viewer mentioned using a leaf blower to clean out from under those pulley guards....I just got a new leaf blower, so I'm going to have to try it! Sounds like it would work much better than using a garden hose. Thanks very much for watching!
I also use the leaf blower (80mph) to clean out the inside of my vehicles. Takes 10 minutes, blows everything out from under the seats, between the consol, places it is hard to get the vacuum into. Blows all the dust off the dash and seats. Open all the doors and have at it.
That's a great idea!! I use a leaf blower to dry the chrome on my motorcycle when I wash it, but I never thought about using it to clean out the car/truck. I'm trying that!
Thanks for all you do with these! Husqvarna should be paying you. Have you looked into affiliate payments for the products you recommend? Might be some extra cash in your pocket for helping all of us.
Thank you so much for watching, your support and the idea! Now that you've pointed me in that direction, I've looked into it and am in the process of setting affiliate links all up. I always thought they made people pay more, but they do not....so sounds like a pretty good deal. Thank you!!
Thank you for the video! My mower is squeaking (more like squealing) after about 10 minutes of using it... Somewhere up front, below... loud while turning and going in reverse. I've lubed as many moving parts as I could see, will try the grease fittings next.
Thanks for watching! Squealing sounds more like a belt slipping to me..... is is a constant sound? I'd check the drive belt and the deck belt....I have videos for both. Drive belt: ruclips.net/video/Fyssdm4-S8g/видео.html Deck Belt: ruclips.net/video/SSKX3KOJjqw/видео.html I hope that helps. If not, let me know and I'll do my best to help.
Hey Dennis - I am hoping you will see this and answer. Is there a spindle in the center of the deck? And how do you grease it? Thanks for the great video.
Great! I also have a playlist set up that has several vids about various maintenance jobs on this lawn tractor: ruclips.net/p/PL4NggU4HQqRkfSYrAS1teGg2OJJ-ZW4ie I hope that helps!
Great video. I agree w another commenter -- I avoid water around numerous regions (deck/under the hood) but for years I've used my Stihl gas leafblower to (gently directed) clean out the deck and, from just a bit further way, any dirt/debris around the general tractor/under the hood after use, especially if mulching/leaves/fall time. Those wells really do attract a lot of debris and I've seen a neighbor's deck rust out between water and wet debris. Thanks! Subscribed.
Thank you for watching! I agree. I made another video showing how I cut out/modified the spindle covers to allow for easier cleaning of those wells. It may be worth checking out. thanks!
I read on some forums a guy put spacers/washers on the pulley guards to lift em up and allow them to be blown clean easier with air or hose. Also read a guy who said he worked at a dealer and the service guys stopped greasing the steering gear because it collected grit and worn down over time compared to when dry. Maybe he was wrong, just wondering if the grease even really makes it easier to turn the wheel or not.
Using spacers under the guards is a great idea! I notice a difference when I grease the steering sector....the debate about grease holding dirt and causing wear is definitely valid since it is an exposed gear. It has such large teeth and is easy to periodically clean, I still opt to grease it. Thanks for watching!
Hi is changing the spindle a hard process? I think I need to replace them. I ran over rope and it bent it. Now the mower takes chunks off my lawn. If not too complicated, will you make a video? and video on process of hosing the engine? I was told not to use water but it is so dusty that taking a brush and dusting isnt really doing anything. I really appreciate your videos. Very well made, informative and keeps my attention through the whole video. Ive learned a great deal (which makes my life a little easier. Again thank you.
Hey and thanks for watching! I already have a video on changing the spindles: ruclips.net/video/00YR0lOPEJY/видео.html I hope that helps! Also check out my playlist for all kinds of maintenance videos for this lawn tractor: ruclips.net/p/PL4NggU4HQqRkfSYrAS1teGg2OJJ-ZW4ie
Dennis, Really GREAT videos and super helpful. I have a question on the mower deck. YTA 24V48 model. I do not believe my deck goes all the way down to the ground like yours does; My deck only goes to the 2.5" setting. I will check after writing this comment, but do you show how to set the correct deck height? I saw your video segment where you adjusted left to right skew. I seem to remember somewhere using a 2x4, on edge to set the 2.5 inch height. Thanks for your help and love your videos. Rich
Thanks for watching, Rich! On my mower, there isn't an overall height adjustment, there's only an adjustment on one side to level the deck and one in the front to set the rake of the deck. I'd check to be sure none of your linkages are bound up.
Hi Thanks for the great videos, they have helped me in the past.. .. I have the Husqvarna gth24v52ls with the Kawasaki 24 HP engine. I've just recently noticed that the tractor loses some power when cutting uphill, flat or downhill is normal. I've replaced the drive belt but that has not helped.. I also noticed at the same time that there seems to be an occasional chirping noise coming from the engine compartment. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Thanks for watching, Frank! It sounds like the drive belt is slipping. Here is the correct drive belt for that mower: 532420807 and here is a link for one: amzn.to/3NSoyrs You might also check to be sure the belt hasn't flipped....the tapered side needs to run in the pulleys with the flat side out. I hope this helps!
Hi Dennis great videos. We have the same tractor but you have zerk fittings on your wheels, and I don’t. Odd? I do have a valve for adding air to the tire. I ask because I’ve followed all your other steps and still have the squeaking around the right front tire.
Thanks for watching! Check the inboard side of the wheels, sometimes they'll put the wheels on backwards and the zerks won't be visible from the outboard side. If not, you can remove the wheels, grease the axles and the hubs by hand to take care of that squeaking.
Good videos. I have a Snapper brand 22 HP that is very similar to your Husq. My mower did not come with a service manual or a parts list. Hate that about Snapper. I guess they want you to be dependent on the dealer. Thanks for doing these vids.
Thank you very much for watching! Check this website, you might be able to find the manuals for your Snapper here: www.snapper.com/na/en_us/support/manuals.html
Yes, the LEDs provided slightly more even light, with no filament shadows, but as you say that was only slightly better. As long as you watch out for spider webs, mowing at night is the best. I think it might be easier on the grass too, since dew will be on it after the mowing.
That's a good point about the grass. Husqvarna wires the headlight bulbs to the charging circuit which is why the bulbs go dim at low engine rpm and brighter at higher rpm. Eventhough I normally run my engine at full throttle (which is best for most small engines), I'm thinking of a LED light bar, wired to the battery, thru the ignition switch (so I don't accidentally leave it on and kill my battery). That way I should get bright light no matter the engine speed.
No sir! I'd be in the doghouse for sure. I have cleaned unseasoned beaver traps in the dishwasher once though.....the whole inside was orange afterwards, so yea, I'm pretty much banned from using the major appliances now. LOL! I take my oil rags to the laundromat and run them thru the heavy duty washer.
Thanx! I have a 24V54 with three blades, bought 6 months ago, and the clock says I've already run it about 20 hours or so this summer.. Huh? ?? This clock is incrementing faster than real time! -showing about an hour for every ~35 min I've been running the machine! Anyhow, as usual I never RTFM, so your video has inspired to do so, and grease the ~seven? points before the snow arrives! (it's now Nov 1/21) It already has a shattered mandrel bottom, which I have now somehow managed to remove and order a replacement mandrel thru Amazon. Seems to a common problem from what I've seen on Amazon. I don't suppose the part is still covered in my guarantee. The dealer (30 miles away) will no doubt say "Hmmm.. You must have hit a rock, sir! The guarantee does not cover this". Hey, with climate change, I may be able to cut my lawn and small field (yes, with a few pesky rocks!) before winter shuts us down. Thanx again!
Thanks for watching, Tony! Sounds like you have a faulty hour meter.....the timer chip in it is fast. They're easy to replace if you choose to tackle it. Hopefully you will get your spindle taken care of and be back to cutting soon!
Thanks for watching! I don't have one yet, but have had several requests to make one showing drive belt replacement. I don't need to replace the belt on my tractor yet, but I'm going to go ahead and order one and make a video!
Dennis, I like many others appreciate all the work you put into the tutorials for the Husqvarna. I recently purchased a home and the mower was included with the deal. It has been very well taken care of but I am going through it meticulously. I removed the deck and went to Grease the spindles, and there are NO zerk fittings at all? Would these be the original spindles? Thank you in advance for any assistance you may provide.
Dennis, I look at so much You Tube on how to repair or adjust, I saw yours and had one heck of a time locating it again, maybe because I'm 77. The question I have is under the battery holder, or below the battery holder on the left side is a rubber cap, I took it off, and below that is what looks like a fitting, but I have glaucoma and I can't figure what it is or what the rubber cap is covering. I thought it might be a grease fitting for the Trans or the rear axle. Can you post something about this. I was also losing power going up a hill, and eventually it wouldn't back up or go forward. I got out my power washer, and as you mentioned about dirt getting under the spindles, and removing the battery housing, I did all that this time, I got out so much debris, I could fill a small reservoir. The wife loves driving tractor, so I set her on the seat with some Velcro, so she wouldn't fall off and she had no problems with the tractor. I think the grass clipping get caked on to the spindles causing the belts to slip. Thank you for your video.
Thanks for watching, William! I think that rubber plug is an access point for adding hydraulic oil to the transmission. I agree, debris and clippings can affect the drive. If you continue to have drive issues, you may need to replace the drive belt. I have a video showing how to do that. Thanks again!
Hello Dennis. I’ve been reviewing your videos on Husqvarna Mowers. I need to replace my drive belt on a Husqvarna YTH22V46 I sure would appreciate a video showing how to do this. Regards, Frank Shearer. 👍👏
Thank you Dennis, you have helped this 75 year old lady with her 16 year old Husqvarna birthday gift, from her husband, running smooth.
Keep up the great work explaining how to service my mower.
Thank you so much , I am a 60 year old lady trying to learn how to maintain my equipment .
Thanks for watching, Lisa! I'm glad to know this helped!
Thank you! My step dad just picked one of these up and it needed a bit of love and this helped immensely.
I'm glad this helped! Thanks for watching!

Roger, keep an eye on the front wheel locking clip that holds the front wheel on the shaft, mine came off after 25 HRS and the wheel fell off!
@@Jay_Hall ok thanks for the heads up on that Roger H.
Thank you so much Roger! I have a video that goes thru the setup and things to check for a new mower. You may find it helpful: ruclips.net/video/a-sRKmL4LLU/видео.html
Thanks Dennis. I wish there were more people in the world such as yourself. I look forward to seeing th rest of your videos!

Thank you David! I appreciate you watching and also thanks for subscribing! Let me know if you have things you'd like me to do a video on.
I drain the gas and oil, along with the oil filter, just before winter. First time owner of one of these riding mowers. Thanks for the tips!
Great idea! Thanks for watching, Joe!
Thank you.
Thank you Tom! I appreciate you watching!
1st time watching one of your videos. Awesome job. You made my job go much smoother. Thank you.
That's great, I'm glad this helped! Thanks for watching, Mark!
Thanks Dennis for all your great videos on the yard tractor
Thank you for watching, Garth!!
Great video.
Thank you for watching, Denis!
Good video. I might add two things. When greasing the steering kingpins I always raise the front of the machine and let the wheels and axle hang free so that the grease gets into the contact areas. ❤I have the same husqvarna mower. Your videos are very helpful when I do the maintenance on it.
Thank you for watching, Jeffrey!
More great info! My new YTH18542 is being delivered in a few days so I really appreciate you taking the time to teach us these things!
Thanks for watching, Greg! I hope you enjoy that new mower!
Thank you for this video and the deck leveling video, I am sure I will need more later! I have the same mower. From Texas! Stephen
Thank you for watching, Stephen!

Excellent video, thanks! One suggestion. I was really new to this, and didn't know how to remove the grease gun once connected. Watching your video a few times explained it, but having it explained would have saved me some frustration.
Great idea! Thanks for watching, Charles!
Thanks for the help. Was not sure where ALL the grease points were on my own YTH22V46. Appreciate it !
Thanks for watching, Phillip! I'm glad it helped!
Great video! I have the same tractor and bought it used and a manual didn’t come with it. This is great! Thanks.
Thank you for watching!! Some of the manuals are available for download on the Husqvarna website. I think they are listed under "Support."
Your videos have really helped me maintain my Husqvarna. Easy to follow and understand. Thank you very much!
Thank you Dave! I appreciate you watching and I'm glad the vids are helpful!
Your videos are well done and very informative. Like your attitude when explaining things. Keep up the good work.
Thank you very much Bill! I appreciate you watching.
Been watching for awhile when i forget things. Still the best. Would love to see more videos of some other mechanical work
Thank you Ben, I appreciate you watching! I have a few other videos you might enjoy, check them out! :)
Thanks!
The Cousins are still around.....coffeycousins.blogspot.com/
My Dad and I both have done a lot of research on this side of the 'pond.' :) I'd like to take some time an do a bit or research in Ireland.
Thanks for sharing that sir! I'll check it out!
Thanks as always. Just hit 25 hours on my yth24v54 and after the last wash she was squeaking. Lubed it up and all good.
Fantastic! Thanks for watching, Russell!
Thanks for the videos. Just bought my first Husqvarna tractor and I'm clueless. So your channel will be very helpful.
Thanks John! I appreciate you watching and I hope my vids help!
Dennis I really like your how to videos. I have searched the web for the word Glopping, could not find it anywhere, please explain. LOL . . . just kidding.
Southernese! LOL! Thank you for watching, Mike!
I use my leaf blower to clean off the deck after every use. Like the suggestion about cleaning the rear of the under carriage. It is very important for hydrostatic driven transmissions.
Thanks for watching, Brian!
Very good. I was hoping to see a fuel filter change as to how to prevent gas leaks while changing. Maybe on another video? Thanks Dennis.
Thanks for watching! Here's a vid for fuel filters: ruclips.net/video/4tbelpZ6aZ8/видео.html
You are amazing ! Husqvarna should pay you to explain about there tractors there is no better!
Thanks so much, I really appreciate you watching!
Nice video. Appreciate the effort. Nice to have someone helping people out.
Thank you very much Chris! I appreciate you watching and thanks for the nice comment.
This is exactly the video I needed. Thank you.
Thank you for watching, Jody!!
Thanks for the videos. I bought my first rider this year, a Husqvarna. So I'm going to go over it with your tips, and make sure all is good. Thanks again!
Thank you for watching, Doug!
Hey my first Husky ride-on also! I used to sneer at these folks using a big ride-on to cut their small lawns.
For the past 40 years I've been using push mowers (a HusqHonda and a 30 year-old Briggs$Stratton- STILL STARTS ON FIRST PULL!)
It's not so much that at 80 yrs old, I can't do the job anymore, but It just TAKES too long with a push mower!
I'm glad this helped! Thanks for watching, Mark!
Thanks for heads up Dennis
Peter Melbourne Australia
Thank you Peter! I appreciate your support!
Thank you. This is soooo helpful!!
You're so welcome! Thank you for watching!
I like your style bro. Never thought about greasing the steering gear on my Husqvarna 48 inch ( I mean my wife's )You just got yourself a new subscriber!✌🏻️
Thank you Alan!! I appreciate you watching and thanks for the sub!
Great idea!
Good video thanks for the Info!
Thanks for watching, David!
Good Info, Thank you for sharing
Thank you for watching, Don!
Thanks!!
Thanks I wanted to know where to lube my tractor i did not know where the fittings were Thanks for the video.
Thank you so much for watching!
12:41p.m. Your video really helped on info as to the caring of my riding lawnmower. I will be looking at other ones. Tks.
Thanks for watching, Dianna!
Great videos!
Thank you Juanita!!
I use my STIHL Blower to get the clippings and any foreign material that might've accumulated during the Mowing. After watching you locate the grease fittings, I need to now look for mine more closer Dennis. I thought I only had 2 but now I"m not so sure. Thank you for pointing them out.
Great idea using the blower Joe! Hope you found all your fittings...thanks for watching!!!
Excellent videos. I have the same model Husqvarna, and you are saving me a TON of money!
That's great to hear, Timothy! Thank you for watching!
Thank you! You took the guess work out of finding the grease zerks.
Thanks for watching, Jeff! I'm glad this helped!
Thanks Dennis. Exactly what I needed to know and very easy to follow.
Thanks for watching, Craig! I'm glad this helped.
Thanks!!
Thanks Dennis. Your videos are very helpful. Keep it up!
Thank you very much! I appreciate you watching!
Thank you Dennis
Thank you for watching, David!
As far as the other items go....the muffler is basically an inspection item.
Thanks for the reply and additional info!
Awesome video as always. Thanks again Dennis.
Thank you, Michael! I appreciate you!
Another great video, you are the man.
Thanks for watching, Winey!
Thank you. Just bought one of these. Great info. Keep them coming
Thank you, Russell. I appreciate you watching. I've got several videos on general maintenance and topics for this mower, I hope you find them helpful!
Dennis, thanks much for these excellent reviews. I just bought the same tractor today due in no small part to your videos.
Thank you so much David! I hope you enjoy your tractor as much as I have enjoyed mine!
Thanks again for your video. Itwas very easy to follow. Unfortunately I busted one of the front wheel's zerk grease fitting (rookie mistake), but I learned a lot regardless. Your time and effort is greatly appreciated!
Thanks for watching, Gabriel! I hope you got the problem resolved without too much trouble.
I use high pressure compressed air to COMPLETELY clean off the deck and spindles and all other areas of my tractor each time I am finished using it. Yes, the running out of gas at end of season is great to stop carb gunk and I always use STABIL in my gas. Mine is a TS348XD.
Thanks for watching, Jay! I appreciate the tips and agree!
Great video ,subscribed
Thanks for subscribing and for watching, Greg!
Great video. Have you done a video on changing the drive belt? Would love to watch you do it.
Hi Bob, thanks for watching. I have not yet, but I've had several people ask me to do one. I'm ordering a drive belt and will do a video soon. Thank you!
Great video. Well done. Thanks! .. subscribed.
Thanks for the sub, Robert!!
Thank you!!
Dennis your videos are great
Thank you for the video!
Drive belt: ruclips.net/video/Fyssdm4-S8g/видео.html Deck Belt: ruclips.net/video/SSKX3KOJjqw/видео.html
I hope that helps. If not, let me know and I'll do my best to help.
@@dwcoffey thank you! Only while moving, if I sit still (even with the blades going), no squeaking. I'll try to record it
That sounds like the drive belt is slipping to me.
I have the same issue. Did you ever figure out what the issue was?
I have the Ariens version of your Husky lawn tractor. Seems most/all of the Husky maintenance procedures apply to the Ariens. Thanks!
I believe this is correct. I can't verify it, but somebody told me the Ariens and Husqvarnas are made in the same factory.
Also applies to the pp19a42 poulan pro tractor commonly sold at lowes a few years ago!
Hey Dennis - I am hoping you will see this and answer. Is there a spindle in the center of the deck? And how do you grease it? Thanks for the great video.
Thanks for watching! Mine only has 2 spindles, left and right, but not one in the center.
I found your video on replacing spindles. Thank you
Great! I also have a playlist set up that has several vids about various maintenance jobs on this lawn tractor: ruclips.net/p/PL4NggU4HQqRkfSYrAS1teGg2OJJ-ZW4ie
I hope that helps!
It may be worth checking out. thanks!
I have the same tractor love your videos very informative. Thanks !!
Thank you very much, Anthony! I appreciate you watching!
Dennis,
Really GREAT videos and super helpful.
Bloody champ mate, helped me heaps. many thanks.
Great! Thanks for watching, Will!
@@dwcoffey that worked thank you!
Good videos. I have a Snapper brand 22 HP that is very similar to your Husq. My mower did not come with a service manual or a parts list. Hate that about Snapper. I guess they want you to be dependent on the dealer. Thanks for doing these vids.
Thank you very much for watching! Check this website, you might be able to find the manuals for your Snapper here: www.snapper.com/na/en_us/support/manuals.html
tank you for sharing Dennis, you make some really good videos.
Thank you Anthony! I really appreciate it and thanks for watching!
Good info.... thank you. 👍👍👍.
Thank you for watching, Robert!
Does your wife allow you to use the washer for the grease and oil rags, mine doesn't
(it's now Nov 1/21)
It already has a shattered mandrel bottom, which I have now somehow managed to remove and order a replacement mandrel thru Amazon.
Very good Videos! Do you have one to replace drive belt??
Thanks for watching! I don't have one yet, but have had several requests to make one showing drive belt replacement. I don't need to replace the belt on my tractor yet, but I'm going to go ahead and order one and make a video!
Thank you tons! Learned a lot from your invested time. You are awesome!
Thank you so much!! I appreciate you watching and leaving a nice comment!
Thanks for watching, Keith! Yes, they are probably the original spindles. My originals did not have zerk fittings on them.
Thank you for watching, Frank! I haven't had to replace the drive belt on mine yet, but will try to do so soon and make a video.
so well done ty!
Thanks for watching, Andy!
Do you have a link for the spindle grease fittings you installed on it yourself?
Thanks for watching! There's a link for the spindles I bought in the description of this video: ruclips.net/video/00YR0lOPEJY/видео.html
Great Job
Thank you for watching, Terry!
The steering gear sector had no grease on from the factory ????
Thanks for watching! None at all on mine.
