Yes! I have oily skin but it is on the dehydrated side, especially in the drier winter months in the US Northeast.

@@gigipera5751 My favorite foundation is the Revlon Colorstay for Combo/Oily Skin in Buff 150! It stay on my face and don't feel heavy at all . It's the type of foundation that dries down and doesn't stay tacky, so there is little to no transfer. I've only tried one tinted moisturizer, the Colourpop Tinted Moisturizer. The more I try it, the more I don't like it. I like how it looks when I first apply it, but it tends to emphasis my pores throughout the day and make them look so much larger and prominent than normal. I did try this product out in the late spring, when it was humid out, so I do want to try it out again in the winter when my skin is less oily. I am interested in trying the NYX Tinted Skin Veil because reviewers with oily skin and larger pores/textured skin tend to like this one. (Also, my favorite moisturizer is the CeraVe PM facial Moisturizing Lotion. It's oil-free, so it actually sinks in and moisturizes instead of just creating a greasy film on my skin and it looks great under makeup.)

I’m tired of coconut as a main ingredient for anything LITERALLY
I also HATE coconut-- but coconut water is not the same as coconut alkaines or coconut oil. From what I understand ( and my experience with coconut oil AND coconut water in products), coconut water is just not an ingredient I need to worry about in my makeup- it's not the same thing as a brand adding straight coconut oil into a product !

The tinted moisturizer is AMAZING for me. I've seriously fallen in love with it. I love how it has a nice thin veil over the skin and I can add more smaller coverage with my concealer

Might try the foundation first before the moisturizer since it seems you can also sheer it out if you wanted a lighter coverage! Lovely video and I'm so glad you compared the two products with each other. It really helps to choose which product to try from the pretty fresh line!

It actually comes in 42 shades, they only stock some of them at Ulta :)
I love mixing the CP tinted moisturizer with either Physicians Formula Healthy foundation or the Neutrogena Hydro Tint. It’s insane how good it looks.ill have to try this foundation when I run out.

I just tried the tinted moisturizer, omg it's my new favorite now, it beats my all time favorite YSL all in one glow....and it's huge! Also I tried your technique of mixing flexitarian with something else, and it looks like pure amazing glass skin ❤

Amanda: curious about your full application process with the tinted moisturizer. Did you apply a primer? Did you do anything to set it after? I've seen other tutorials that include a combo of primer, setting powder, setting mist, etc.

Amanda, I have been thinking of trying the Colourpop moisturizer and wanted to know how you think it compares to the Ilia skin tint serum. I loved your review on that and have been loving it myself. I'm getting close the end and wondering if I might save myself a little money by trying the Colourpop. I have skin that leans towards acne and oily throughout the day, but just like how natural and dewy the Ilia is. Do you think it's worth trying the Colourpop or should I just stick with Ilia? Thanks!

hi, which shade matches you in the tinted moisturiser? do the numbers line up at all, as in if you were a 3w did that translate to the 30n?
i think you needed 4N for the moisturizer but i really appreciate This video because I am the same shade
Great idea to compare the two. I love the tinted moisturizer. I’ve been wondering about how so many foundations/setting sprays/etc have hyaluronic acid in them. I’ve always been under the impression that when you use hyaluronic acid it should have a sort of barrier over it to lock it in or it could actually have a reverse effect. Any thoughts on that?

I think it depends on how it's formulated! For dry skin I wouldn't recommend just applying a hylauronic acid product without adding an occlusive.. It looks like the colourpop foundation has enough occlusives to seal everything in!
i really want you to try the too faced peach concealer! trust me, i know that it doesn’t sound like your cup of tea and that was the same with me! we have a lot of the same makeup faves and this is my holy grail! looks so skin-like and natural on the skin and isn’t drying with my dry skin! plus with the $10 off from using sephora points, a $12 is a no brainer.

While you are young, please consider using up strokes on your face, neck, and chest. Gravity is already working against your beautiful facial structure, so get those facial muscles moving in the right direction...up 🥰 Also, I switch between these two products on a daily basis and apply them with a brush, using a stippling motion. Then, I smooth out the product softly with a sponge. I have no problems with my coverage lasting longer than 5-6 hours. It still looks great when I take it off at night. Love your content❣️
I just got this foundation to try Bc it was in my price Range. I found my perfect shade in the range but got worried when I saw it not doing what it was said to do. I realized it was probably the fact I was using a crappy and very wet beauty blender to blend so maybe that was the issue. In some parts of my face it looked patchy and in others it didn’t.
Have you tried the Pixi H20 Skin Tint? I'm wondering how the Colourpop Tinted Moisturizer compares, the textures sounds pretty similar.
I’m in the market for a new skin tint with sheer to light coverage. My skin is very dry, and I like a lot of dew, but not shimmer. I’m not a huge colourpop fan, but I do like some of their products (like blush stix!!!). My current favorite base products are Lancôme skin feels good or glossier stretch concealer sheered out all over the face as a foundation. I just want something new that is exciting because I feel bored with putting on my base makeup these days. It feels like a chore. Do you think this tinted moisturizer is right for me? Or have you tried the new Kevyn Aucoin skin tint? The ilia serum skin tint? Something else I might like more?

I often wonder how hyaluronic acid can possibly work when a person lives in an arid environment. There is often about 16% humidity here where I live (especially in the summer), just hot and dry dry dry. How can it draw any moisture into my dry, dull skin?
Hyaluronic acid certainly is not as effective in dry environments- I would go with a humidifier while you sleep!
I thought 30N would be my match but it was slightly too dark and slightly too yellow :( I am surprised they don't have any cool shades between 10 and 20.

Maybe try 33c- from the swatches trendmood has it still looks pretty fair
The hyaluronic acid in the foundation might be soaking up the water from the sponge which might be why it doesn’t apply as well.

*I love your videos* ♥️ But I noticed you put your blush and bronzer is too low on your cheeks. Its pulling your face down and making your cheeks look puffier than they really are. The wider you diffuse your blush and bronzer the wider/bigger your cheeks will look, especially when you already have a bang covering quarter of your face. You don’t have to go full Bella Hadid face lift (although that would be a really interesting video idea!!) but I suggest pulling up your cheek makeup a bit.
Can you recall the other products you were wearing in this video? This is such a fresh and pretty look! 🩵
