Hi Vianney, just a little tip for you and for anyone- when using thinner, serum-type foundations/base products, people forget that you can use their beauty sponges dry. It will, of course, absorb far less product. See what you think. Thanks for this great comparison! :)

When I see tinted serums/foundations reviews, I want to see how it applies with only fingers since in my mind it is supposed to be an every day super easy product to use "like for my lazy days😅", only you have covered that way of application "Thank you".

I am normal to dry skin and have both but really enjoy the fenty because it blurs out pores without looking cakey. Rare beauty has really nice glowy but I found it either too yellow or olive on my skin.

I wonder if the crustiness around the nose might be bc you used concealer on that side and not the other bc you said you had some break outs on that side. A possibility maybe. Thanks for the video!

It is a great tinted moisturizer with great coverage. I think you will love it. It doesn't break me out either and I feel most foundations do

@@therejazz9265 its more on the matter side I dont find it makes skin more oily but it does not control oil either you will need a mattifying primer and powder.

I think you should swap sides to give a true comparison. Our skin does funny things. I noticed that the texture of my skin is different on each side. That is why I say swap sides. Great review Vianney 👍🏻

Dont buy the Rare tint!!!! It has toxic illegal ingredients and a hormone disrupter.
I see that rare beauty is more spot on with your skin tone…like it just perfected it. The fenty one has a bit of a slight darker cast…almost orangey…but very slight.
I'm surprised how much I liked fentg so I'm glad you compared them. The fenty had a little shine and glow which I really like. I'll probably like rare beauty.

Listen I'm Fenty all the way... the Fenty side literally killed it hun... I have the Eaze Drop Foundation and although I don't wear it often as I need more coveridge for my job, I do have really fine textured skin and the Fenty is beautiful when iv time for a lovely light skin like finish...

I just bought the rare beauty one . I’m not impressed with it , I have dry to normal skin and I found it to be a bit Cakey around my mouth area . I also used the rare concealer I felt like my pores were more visible around my eyes as-well . I wanted to like this product bc I’m a fan of selena but it did not work for my skin . Her lipsticks are great thow , love love the soufflé lipstick . Such beautiful colors.
The only good thing from her line atm is the lip soufflés and of course her liquid blushes which I desperately want to try 😅

The rare beauty one only has spf20, while you should at least wear spf30. Meaning you would have to wear an extra spf product either way 😅

I think the rare beauty has ingredients in it that are banned in other countries. Has to do with hormones. In case anyone is interested just know that.

It has 9% homosalate which is banned in Canada and restricted in Japan. It is the ingredient you don't want to have in your products you use.

So funny i came across this video i was thinking to myself what is the difference between the two. I have the Fenty beauty and looks the same to me.
RARE BEAUTY HAS 9% HOMOSALATE …. On the basis of safety assessment of homosalate, and considering the concerns related to potential endocrine disrupting properties, the SCCS has concluded that homosalate is not safe when used as a UV-filter in cosmetic products at concentrations of up to 10%.
It’s at 9% though not 10%.

I wouldn’t buy the rare beauty one just because it has high percent of HOMOSALATE - it’s a hormone disrupter and in it Some countries consider it toxic and banned

I really think Rare beauty is overhyped. None of the products are ground breaking or different. I’d rather support smaller owned makeup companies than a celebrity blasting their name on a product.
Are you being satire? They literally are groundbreaking and different. Maybe you know nothing about the brand but please be informed before you comment something like this. Also, this isn’t a celebrity blasting their name on a product. In fact, I love Fenty but Rihanna uses her name as the brand (still a great brand and she can name it after her if she wants) whereas Selena’s name is not the name of the brand. Her makeup brand also has products using new formulas that people are in love with and her Rare Impact fund Will be helping mental health utilities worldwide raising a goal of $100 million for mental health. I’m assuming you are a Selena hater because there is no other way you would actually think that this brand is amazing and inspirational, your comment makes no sense.
