1.800 rpm constant engine speed is ok or is it too low? I see in your video you go between 2.000 and 2.100 rpm but what is the ideal engine loading that minimize the total time for a full dpf passive regeneration by using the least amount of fuel? Thank you very much for your video and for your answer!
Thank you, the optimum engine loading is between 2000 and 2200 rpm (60-65 km/h and "S" mode), my experience shows that then it takes between 3 and 6 minutes. I think that 1800 rpm is too low.
@@ДЪСКОРЕЗНИЦА Thank you very much for your help! I am questioning myself wheather to buy a diesel or a gasoline car. Biggest drawback for the diesel one is the dpf but I think by following your advice it is not difficult go keep the dpf clean. Based on your experience do you suggest a diesel or a gasoline car? I am averaging 15.000 kms per year mixing highway and city traffic. Thank you again!
Yeah, you have to clean your filter from time to time, especially if you do a lot of city driving. This warning light is just a notification that your filter needs cleaning, and if you do a highway run at higher RPMs (keeping it one gear lower than you usually do, or sport mode on automatic gearboxes) it should clean itself just like in this video. If you do your daily commute on a highway this warning will almost never come one since the filter cleans itself regularly at higher RPMs
@@podkriznikaljaz yea it was my problem, I tried a lot of regeneration before changing the DPS, I have lost a loy of time, at first I thought I had my DPF clogged
Thank you bro!! You saved a lot of money not only for me but for other people also! Driving 60km for 10 min really resolved the issue.
Wow that whole video was beautiful. And all about a DPF filter!
Perfect way to maintain DPF filter! constant speed & driving for about 15min, that's the way.
Nice roads and lovely winter vibes also i learnt how to clean the DPF thanks 👍 🙂
thanks! solved the problem in 5minutes on freeway..
Brilliant video!!
Life saver 😍
Thanks brother 🙏

What a reveal. It says it even in your manual.
George S yes but 90% of the people dont want to read the manual so the video is helpfull

Hello bro ,is it normal for a Q7 V6 TDI to emit white smoke during regeneration?
Does the problem came back after that ?

@@podkriznikaljaz it was the differential pressure sensor mate, my dpf is fine, I do a lot of highway 😀
@JaiPasDeNom oh sorry, you didn’t specify that in your comment so I assumed you were asking about the DPF warning.

JaiPasDeNom what DPS means? I had the same problem :(
Drive with 60-70km/h in the 3rd gear..to make sure the engine is torquey.
Нее ли си зимна софия
And next day same problem..
Thanks 🙏🏼 brother
