DPF Cleaning and adaptions done along with diagnostic inspection to determine if there are any underlying causes.
smoke leak test finds a broke intake manifold from the actuator arm.

Excellent. Let’s hope the customer gets the actuator sorted
No warranty on the DPF clean if not 💁🏻♂️
If you have that rod broken it usually sets an error code, which I didn't seeon the scan you made,I had that code on both flaps actuators Bank 1 and2, I had that inconsistent reading and I solved the issue with aluminum dimes sold in US by an American company
It amazes me there going to get a garage to replace the inlet flapper bit but the garage doesn’t do dpf’s. Surely it would of made more sense it all being sorted by one outfit around the same time. 🤷♂️ good job all the same 👍 👍
Yeah we get that often. Not sure if they just don't want to spend the extra cash straight away or they just like using there regular garage for general repairs
THANK YOU! I thought the ash (not soot) could only be removed through a jet wash. I'll definetly be trying this! Now what is that pump thingy you're using? I need its name so I can flush mine out
Ash can only be removed through mechanical cleaning of the DPF. The "pump" he used was a smoke tester (smoke generator), but that had nothing to do with cleaning the DPF. He merely used it to test the intake and charge air hoses for "vacuum" leaks.
Well done jimmy another good fix
Thanks
👊👊👊
What diagnostic machine do you use. I can see its a autel but what model number. Thanks.
