I assume you reset the learned values of the calculated and measured soot in order to achieve those readings after the clean. At least that is what I eventually did to achieve corrected calculated accumulation. I want to thank you and other Mechanics and DPF specialists on You tube for your dedication to helping others diagnose DPF issues. I had taken my VW AMAROK V6 into a VW here in Australia 8 x times in 4 months with limp mode issues. Data analysis was collected and VW Australia could not provide answers. After watching this video and some others I purchased VCDS and DPF cleaning spray bottle and was able to research and diagnose that excess Ash accumulation as the issue causing increased soot accumulation at a rapid rate. I cleaned the DPF on the vehicle am now achieving normal results. Thanks so much

Nightmare when you’re on the road full time with no other transport and wondering if you’ll get to the next dealership between legs. Losing faith with VW Australia so trying to find the solution myself.

Hey thank you for posting this video. Does this procedure applies to a 2014 TDI Jetta engine? I have my check engine light on yesterday, car is running normal but I need to take it for a full diagnostic but your video will help me have an idea before the shop tries to tell me they want to take down the engine or some kind of other BS.

Hey, I'm getting the P226D00 as well. My differential pressure is at -1 or 1 hPa when engine is off. Is that an indicator of a bad sensor?
I watched the video twice and it means nothing as I don't have any of the equipment used. I believe this issue is a manufactures design fault. we should not have this problem on low miles cars.
How much does this procedure cost for Amarok mate? Obviously it will vary from country to country but it couldn't be more than $250 odd dollars? What do you charge to clean 2014 Amarok same as per video demonstration?
Hello Mate, where can I get the VCDS? I am having problems with a DPF here in my country, we tried to used autel MS808 but we could not activate the re-gen process, we did manually holding the car at 2500RPMS, no results, today I used a Wurth additive directly into the DPF but the problem persist. My soot mass are similar to yours in this video. I appreciate any help.Thanks

Just renewed my dpf on my v6 amorok and every now and then I'm getting smoke under the bonnet and funny smell in the cab any ideas ??
Can you do this on other models? I have a CJAA 2012 Jetta and the DPF cost over $3k to replace, and it's already messing up again.

Better off deleting codes so it shuts dpf down, otherwise you will spend 250gbp 9n ave per year cleaning it. You should put cleaner in it + drive 4000rpm on motorway every 6 weeks to clean otherwise.
