Even Samsung has their own line of “Smart Monitors” that have the functionality of smart TVs. Hoping to see more interesting products come out in this space.

You will never be able to go back to a standard 24 inch office monitor. My eye health has improved greatly. Both due to the OLED technology (pure blacks, pure white, adjustable real contrast between these two) and the large size.

Great video! Lots of the small things that no other reviews look at. I used the CX 48" for two years as a desktop monitor and definitely would have preferred the smaller size, but I had mine at 1m viewing distance with 125% scaling. HI David, how is this to use for split-screen work? I currrently use a 34" monitor to split screen for WFH. I need two screens showing side by side so that I can have multiple Excel or other programs viewable at all times.

I’ve been using a 43-inch lcd tv as my daily working panel and I love it. Productivity is hugely increased. I think an oled panel would be great but I just wasn’t willing to risk burn-in going with one.
I have watched this video probably 10 times now and continue to wonder, would you prefer the C2 48” vs the 42”? Being in architectural design, I use a mix productivity and graphics but I really like/need the screen real estate. My only question is how noticeable will the difference be from the pixel density standpoint (keeping in mind I’m currently using the LG34 Ultrawide). Thanks for this video!
I'm using a solid wood kitchen countertop, which usually comes in at these shorter 65cm depths. If I could find a similar wood top that was deeper and didn't cost an arm and a leg, I'd prefer that.

Hi I have a doubt which brand to buy hdmi 2.1 cable. I'm going to use LG c2 with pc\GPU. Can you tell which one worked perfectly in 4k 120hz, HDR and Double Vison.
Sooo... I thought it was just me... but take a look at the black bars on the right and left side of the screen. The RIGHT SIDE is slightly wider than the left side. Not a big deal.. BUT, it IS a big deal when you have your windows desktop and everything is just very slightly cut off on the left side of the screen. So much so that you end up missing the first letter of your icon names. ANYONE ELSE NOTICE THIS? I have the 48" and it happens on mine. The only way to get rid of it is to use my Nvidia resize option, which can pull the left side of the screen closer, but ends up make the right side even more obvious of being off-center.
The smaller screen is much more manageable and I prefer it, but right now the 48" C1 is $800 at BestBuy and the 42" C2 is $1400. That's going to make it a tough sell for a lot of people.
Yeah agreed! The discount on the previous generation makes it a tough sell.

After reading through the comments, it’s crazy how different the situation is in Asia. The C1 48 hasn’t gone down much yet, and is still priced only $100-200 less than the C2 42. Which is why I’ve decided to just go with the C2.
When I was auditioning the C2 though, I didn’t notice the aggressive ABL (using a test image). It’s the only worry I have when considering this as my new productivity monitor. Is it possible that the retail units in stores have the ABL disabled?
For image it's not the same logic as for

I can never get used to the bluish tint that you get from oled when used as work monitor. Lg has the worst case of that
does it have pip and pbp mode ?
What kind of mount you using? Is it Vesa? And if it’s how do you did it ?
I have mine at 2560x1080, but the picture is in the middle, cant be adjusted to the bottom for some reason.
I have a 34" 3440x1440 60hz. should i get a oled screen or what would you recommend i look at?
HI David, how is this to use for split-screen work? I currrently use a 34" monitor to split screen for WFH. I need two screens showing side by side so that I can have multiple Excel or other programs viewable at all times.
Can you explain more in details how you bring up the service menu by using the magic remote control shown here 1:10 ? I need desperately to set off the auto dimming. It's driving me crazy. Thanks!
Thank you so much for doing the measurements for the legs and the space under the TV! Really helped me plan ahead
I too am grateful for those 🙏
Hai david, what is application that you used for multitasking. Is it powertoys? How to make area very much like you
it's sad that 42 and 48 inch is not as bright as bigger model
I have this exact same monitor arm and TV but my TV keeps falling down, is there anyway to fix?
What’s the dimensions on the desk?
I’ve been using a 43-inch lcd tv as my daily working panel and I love it. Productivity is hugely increased. I think an oled panel would be great but I just wasn’t willing to risk burn-in going with one.
Is the Windows scaling UI something that this tv does or a program you have installed?
I have watched this video probably 10 times now and continue to wonder, would you prefer the C2 48” vs the 42”? Being in architectural design, I use a mix productivity and graphics but I really like/need the screen real estate. My only question is how noticeable will the difference be from the pixel density standpoint (keeping in mind I’m currently using the LG34 Ultrawide). Thanks for this video!
42" i big enough ... right on cusp of being too big
42 inch c3 is best.
How does the pixel density compare from the 48" to the 42" LG C2?
2:08 That lamp gave me an idea!
That arm + vesa adapter cost 400€ for me, half of what i paid for this. Too bad my current monitor arm is limited to 8KG only
What is the software he is using to snap windows into predefined places? 4:36

Hey David I am From INDIA🇮🇳 I Love Your Videos🔥😊 Can you Please Tell Which Software And Operating System You Used For Editing Videos??
Why did you choose for a 65cm depth desk if I may ask?
I'm using a solid wood kitchen countertop, which usually comes in at these shorter 65cm depths. If I could find a similar wood top that was deeper and didn't cost an arm and a leg, I'd prefer that.
OLED48C2XSA vs OLED48C2PSA , can u tell us the difference , india here dealers even they dont know the same
Question, do you have to replace the original vesa plate from ergotron and replace it with your recommendation plate from Amazon? How did you attach the vesa plate? Thanks in advance.
