I understand why some people might want less constant higher production videos, but personally I enjoy the daily uploads that show your thoughts about each project in the city. I feel like condensing all that down into one video per build might get rid of some of the personality of Bricksie that makes it so fun to watch. If changing to this style is something you have been thinking about for a while, then try it, but there are plenty of people out there who love the Bricksie channel as it is. Whatever you do, keep up the great content, man.
I agree I like the daily uploads how they are as is, Jang bricks did some similar stuff and it caused me to lose interest in his stuff, that said he's also a different type of person
Personally I like the Bricksie channel just the way it is and hope you dont change a thing. I watch your channel because you talk, you make it more real, its like spending time with a friend. Its the reason why i watch your channel above others, I truly hope you dont change it 😊🤞
I happen to love the format you are currently using on the Bricksie channel. I look forward to your family's interactions, the stories you tell, and the detailed descriptions you provide while building some new project in your LEGO City. It's your personal touch that first attracted me to your channel. I have given other LEGO builders a shot but consistently find myself sticking with only your two channels because of you and your commentary. I would hate to think that this part is going to be leaving your main channel due to making "higher production videos." I love hearing how you came up with your ideas and what led you to do one particular project instead of possibly a different one. I never used to watch LEGO videos before but now find myself looking forward to your daily vlogs. YOU are the reason I chose this channel above all the rest. Please don't change it too much. Some change is good - obviously. Nobody wants to become stagnant. I love the way you mix your family in with the rest of your videos. It's the right amount - if you ask me. (Which you didn't.) 🤣😂🤣 Take care, my friend. Please say hello to Mrs. Bricksie, Benjamin, Millie, and the fur babies. Much love and respect to you all.
Hello Jordan, In the early 60’s, Samsonite the luggage company, had the exclusive North American distribution rights for Lego. They manufactured the basic bricks in their existing Stratford, Ontario factory and imported the specialty pieces, such as the trees from Billund. A licensing dispute ended the arrangement in the United States in 1972, but Samsonite remained the distributor in Canada until 1988. By the way, I receive the set 612 for Christmas in 1974. It’s my first Lego set and I still have it!!! Thanks for the memories!!!
Please dont change the bricksie channel, you are the only channel i tune in to dialy (at 4pm sweden time 🇸🇪) as a way to catch a break between work and picking up my kids. i really really enjoy the style of videos. Longer talking videos + builds is a great format, there is no need for higher production value or polished videos, that would just take away from the daily experience for me and a lot of regular viewers. what i would suggest is that you focus the bricksie channel more on the lego city, studio and your own stuff, the set reviews and building of sets is what I personally is the least into and that seems like its own thing so maybe thats a better use of a second channel? and then keep the OG channel on your own stuff? Best of luck on your decision, keep making your content!! 🎉
Can I ask a couple of questions which I don't think you fully covered. Question 1. Why do you want to change your content on your main channel? You've grown it to where it is now, why risk a change? If you feel it needs a tweak, maybe do a poll or q&a session? Question 2. Why do you need another channel when you post 7/7 on your main channel? Maybe this channel could be your planning one, get feedback and run polls on what people think you could do in the city, talk about the decisions you make etc. but that doesn't mean the main channel has to change? Whatever the answers, love the city, keep going!
I know I am not the only one that would say that no matter what you do, I will be watching both channels! Do what is best for you man! You got some loyal followers that will watch any style on any channel!
I think what makes your channel special compared to other Lego creators is that you make your audience feel like they are in your Lego studio whilst you build. The step by step vlog style is very immersive and is what brings so many people back to watch you build. You’re very good at talking and explaining your thoughts. Stick to your strengths and stick to what you’re currently doing. Don’t let this Bricksie Talks channel cloud your views on your main channel. The Bricksie channel is seemly doing very well. Keep it up 👍🏻
I don’t know how I feel about the condensed weekly videos on Bricksie, mainly because I love to watch them in the mornings while eating breakfast haha. But I’ll support you either way, at the end of the day these are all your choices which ever option you decide to go with I think it’ll be great either way. Keep up the great work man, and just remember to only do stuff that you really enjoy. Support from Ohio ❤️
Hey Bricksie, don’t be too hard on yourself! What you are doing is awesome. Yes it’s important to keep up with changes and move with the times. What you’re thinking seems to be a good idea and to focus on the build results in a summary video would be great and help to show what you achieve. Personally to see your thought processes is really helpful for me as it shows a realistic timeframe with what needs to be considered when planning a major build. I check in with your videos nearly every day and enjoy them very much especially how you manage your life/ work balance. I worry some times that you’re packing too much into your days as the long days can burn you out in time. But this is your personality and you must do what your comfortable with. Your style is your own and stick with who you are. Well done, I love your work. 👍💪🏻❤️
I love the daily videos and i love when you showcase in depth your building of such. I wouldn't change a thing because a few trolls complain. Keep up the great content. I love seeing all the ins and outs of how you decode to build things
I love your channel and look forward to seeing and hearing about your Lego projects and family life. And would rather you just keep doing what makes you happy. Life is too short to try to please everyone around us.
Hey Jordan! Big fan and new to your channels. I think the tricky thing to manage with the other channel will be when are things "finished?" Like the zoo or the canal build. There were a couple "final" iterations of that. Whats nice about your current videos is it shows your process and how things keep evolving over time so that might get lost with the new format. Just some food for thought!
I absolutely love the current style of videos that you put out on the main channel! I love seeing your thought process from start to finish. But I definitely get you wanting to switch things up and add something fresh! I'm just appreciative of you putting out stuff so consistently, and I'll be here for the ride whatever way it goes!
Up to you totally but I love watching you every morning with my coffee...watching you build-although sometimes I feel your describing things is a bit much-but...that said, I support you either way. I just like the fact that you include us in your dailies...
Personally, I love the current video style and upload schedule. I appreciate the consistency and knowing that there is a really entertaining video daily. I look forward to my daily cup of coffee and Bricksie upload in the mornings. I enjoy hearing your raw thoughts as you go along the creative process. Back when I made content, by biggest gripe was that I did not feel that people appreciated the time and thought that goes into Lego MOC creation. I think you have struck a great balance with your video format of letting people appreciate that process while also not dragging out the videos too much. My biggest concern would be your personal mental health and well-being. If you enjoy the current style and are not burned out, why fix something that isn't broken? Either way you know you have a loyal fanbase that will support you either way.
Please keep the daily uploads! Every day at 10am im waiting for the video!! I love how its going and its awesome to hear your process and you talking. It’s inspiration for me and other who want to be like you someday.
It sounds good as long as all the working out and discussion, vlog style and relaxed content etc is put on this channel. I feel i wouldnt watch the bricksie channel uploads that much anymore or enjoy them near as much if they are weekly condensed. I would only watch the shopping videos and other more intimate videos on there. But overall id definitely watch and check this channel more thsn bricksie if these changes happened. Even if you didnt upload everyday anymore in Bricksie, i would completely understand and be all for it but not polished content. At the end of the day, as long as we get our Bricksie fill! Your doing a bloody good job of what you do and i can understand its a tough position and decision etc and ill respext whatever you decide
I've seen you mention my comment about the train tracks multiple times now and I just wanted to apologize if it was in bad faith and took a negative toll on you. I could've and probably should've been more constructive with my wording, and for that, I wanted to apologize. I will try to do better in the future. You have an awesome LEGO city and I don't want you to have the impression that I hate you or your work. In fact, I have been watching your videos for years and I just want to see the best for you and the channel. Whichever direction you take going forward is up to you and I should have no say in that. Thanks for reading this.
@@marcuscostello5635 That's not constructive. If you don't like his videos don't watch them. You don't actually know him. Do you walk up to people you don't know and tell them they suck? He's a husband and father, he's doing what he enjoys and many, many people like his work. If they didn't, he wouldn't keep making Lego content for a living. He doesn't "suck"
The reason I come to your videos every day is because I get your in between content. I prefer your bricksie videos exactly as they are and I’d be sad to see the change. Our kids are the same age and love to see their “baby friends” so I do hope you keep showing them 💓
I guess I'll be migrating over to this channel then because personally I like the 80% talk and 20% build, vlog style content. Short and snappy vids and the lego reviews etc, for me doesn't appeal because stuff like that is over saturated by other lego RUclipsrs. I watch for your personality when building lego /vlog/ family content first because it's awesome , over just 'lego'
Being honest, I do occasionally seek out your videos but a lot of the time I find my auto-queue plays your stuff from both channels often. I find your videos enjoyable and I think it works really well as "chill" content, I will mostly be working on stuff or looking at LEGO online and I'll have your voice and video up on the side. TLDR; you make really relaxing content. However you decide to move forward I'm sure you'll still be in my feed.
My favorite types of videos ranked are: 1. Vlog style studio/life updates 2. Vlog style city updates 3. Vlog style shopping 4. Overview video’s 5. Reviews. If you change your main channel to the snappy content. It would feel more like a review and that is my least favorite type of video to watch. So my question is why would you try to transfer your current video type to this channel, while this channel is way smaller? I watch you everyday and I hope you keep your main channel more vlog style.
Hey Jordan, your success is due to your uniqueness and authenticity. Having said that, I’ll continue to watch throughout the evolution of your channels, regardless. Do what works for you mate.
I am also in favor of daily content (I watch it with my students) but I am also interested in a longer video showing the intricate parts of the process. When I first found your channel, I spent days going through all of your old videos to find all of the mansion clips, all of the zoo clips, etc.
Hi Jordan, thanks for the honest video about your thoughts. I have a couple of things to comment that occurred to me while watching and hope you find them helpful. Firstly, personally I love your vlogs and the style you have just now. However I am only a set builder and don't do mocks or have a lego city, I suspect that the majority of the negative feedback you get will come from other city builders who are looking for instruction and ideas to help them with their set ups and you talking about allsorts and chatting away is distracting from the actual build techniques and them getting the information they need. So maybe the idea of having more clip based content for your builds is a good idea in that respect. Maybe its worth a poll to your subscribers to find out what they enjoy and want from your channel. If I am wrong, and thats always a distinct possibility lol ... then I would hate for you to drastically change your content to please some haters who are just going to continue to give you negative feedback no matter what you do! I really wish folks would just keep opinions to themselves and not hate on someone for the sake of making a comment...if you don't like something don't watch it simple as! If there is a set you are reviewing that doesn't interest me or a project that I don't really want to know about I just don't watch that video, wish others would do the same instead of upsetting content creators who work very hard to keep as all interested and entertained! ( sorry, rant over!) Second, I would hate for you to change up what you are doing and put yourself at risk financially or take away your time from your beautiful family . At the end of the day its your channel and I don't know any of the ins and outs of running something like this, but surely making vlogs for this channel and also doing 300 + clip videos on top of that is going to take way more editing time than what it does now? I have watched you for a few years now and will continue to do so and I wish you all the luck in the world with your future endeavours, love to you, Joseé, the kids and the furbabies ❤
I disagree. I love the daily videos. I watch to hear what you are doing and I have no issues at all with you talking. I will keep watching no matter what so I hope what ever you choose makes you happy and keeps the lights on.
I like the way it running personally but we can try if that’s what you think is best. But it just kinda feels wrong if you know what I mean. Eh I don’t know I would just miss your videos a lot.
I like the existing format of the Bricksie channel - I think you've perfected it over the recent months. I like the talking, the explanations, the trial and error, the back and forth. It reflects the reality. What I like less (but still like) is the rest of the stuff like set reviews/unveiling, because that's not unique to your channel. But of course, even if you do change the format I'd still be watching. Generally - the more city content - the better.
Just so long as I have something to watch with my breakfast each morning. I will watch both, I like to see the process of getting there and seeing how to build, particularly landscape for me, you city/land. And end of week, week in review style sounds great. It's Sunday here in Australia and so far between having breakfast and morning tea I have watched 14:31 three videos from you and I am about to head off to our little local Lego show.
Holy crap! Don't listen to the noise. I watch the videos for inspiration. Your failures mean as much to me as your successes. So the 1st track elevation wasn't as good as you'd hoped. I am learning from that as well. Do what makes you happy. Don't fear the algorithm. There are a lot of us that will support you through these changes because we like you and your content!
To get this channel of the ground I would recommend choosing a project that you exclusively work on bricksietalks. Once you can produce a bricksie video on that content, you can see how well that video performs in comparison to your regular uploads. It will also bring subscribers to this channel because people will want to see you making progress on the city that is not shown on bricksie initially.
Hi Bricksie. Like many of your fans, I love the daily vlogs as they are. It's what makes your channel unique and a top favourite. I understand that you may want your channels to evolve, but honestly we watch because your vlogs are so friendly and down to earth. Your love for your family ,and Lego is what makes your channel unique .
I get people saying don’t change but outsourcing a decent editor can probably get you double the views on one of your channels. Honestly if you just took a week’s worth of daily updates and pay an editor to make a couple dozen reels and a weekly well edited video of city updates. Your video comparison of pick-a-brick prices you just did was in desperate need of having an editor just put graphics of numbers on the screen. Having sound effects, a well written script, and some decent b-roll/ graphics would elevate your content.
Jordan! At 2:55 you just unlocked a forgotten core memory for me! That 6814 ice planet set, wow I remember having a bunch of ice planet as a kid, but I remember now that one in particular as I used to love the massive wheels, i’m going straight to eBay now to see if I can buy one! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I like the "yapping" you do in your videos. Im dont own legos. I used to have some as a kid and i built a space 3in1 earlier this year. But I just watch because I like seeing the creativity. You have the same appeal to me as adam savage with his tested channel. I might end up watching this channel more personally if this is the route youre taking.
I’m stunned that people give you criticism of talking too much. That is your USP and why you have the following you have. I personally watch your videos for your charisma and the sheer scale of the overarching project. What I would like to see (in addition to normal content, not as a replacement) is some shorter videos where you talk more about the detailed techniques and MOC building aspects that you have learnt. I think you’re still developing these skills and trying new things all the time so I’d be really interested in seeing this creative journey with the successes and failures. I’d like content more specific, especially as it will be relatable to all aspiring MOC builders out there. Lego is bringing new audiences all the time, Jaws, LOTR, Zelda etc. etc. and then people grow into the hobby from there with with relatable journey to follow along with.
I think it's smart of you to think about other ways of doing it. I am one of those that think I would watch a weekly condensed building video more often than I am watching the daily vlogs now. I just don't have time to watch every day. And I do really like other city-builders weekly/bi-weekly updates.
I would like to see some polished content... Maybe continue the daily videos then a Zoo polished video at the end as a catch up for some and a re-watch for others. It would be a great way for your future subscribers to catch up on key events in the history of your city. Future subscribers won't be able to 'catch up' with daily content but could watch the "polished" Zoo (or whatever) summary. Cool idea! Go for it.
I look forward to your adventure everyday and I don’t even build Lego lol. I do other art form so it’s just a creativity thing for me watching and you talking about it is more organic and interesting to watch. If I wanted a more polished movie quality video on Lego I’ll go watch Lego masters. I understand if u need to split it. I’ll still watch the process vids before anything else. Your doin great, block out them haters!
You will never know if the changes make you happy until you try them. The good thing is that the changes can evolve even further or revert back depending on how you like the outcome. Go with where you're heart leeds.
Just my opinion, but maybe it would be better to do it the other way around: the main Bricksie channel has the project blow-by-blow videos and the thinking, and the secondary channel has highlight reels and shorts? Kinda thinking how @GardenAnswer does things between their main channel and their secondary one Garden Answer Highlights (they also do a weekly Q&A on the highlights). And bigger projects get broken into multiple videos. Reason being: the main channel's fanbase is used to the bigger process videos and they probably expect to maintain that, plus the algo is kinda dumb and won't necessarily show them that those videos are now on the secondary channel. Also, commenters who whine about your video style might just be trolls or cranks.
Also there’s no need for change unless you change! Don’t let the loud few change who you are! Most changes won’t effect your long time fans cuz we are going to watch anything you make 👍
Hey bricksie! Long time supporter here, love your vids. personally me faviorate would be to have this channel be for your daily thinking/talks about the city and for the main channel to have a condensed video of the changes made that week and to have the reivews for sets and the hunts still on their obviously.
You should post the daily videos and then when you finish the zoo for example you should post a polished video. That way it is a win for everybody. Personally I really enjoy the daily videos and always look forward to watching them every morning. But it is your channel so you can do whatever you want to do. Jang bricks did the same thing a few years back and lost so many subs and views.😊❤
Don't get disheartened, whatever format you decide we will watch. Most of us watch you because your videos are a break from our crazy lives and a trip back to the simpler days when we were kids. Keep up good work and God Bless you and your beautiful family.
I think you have a good thing going on your main channel and this new idea of double posting seems like a lot of extra work for no gain as you stated that this channel won’t be monetized so I am not quite following the logic of the double posting. I liked your idea of doing shorts or behind the scenes and keep this your “hobby” channel and not worrying about hoe often you post here.
This channel is monetized, my shorts channel is not. Still thinking about things. I would not mind making some viral LEGO city videos on the bricksie channel. Building a LEGO Zoo - showcase it from start to finish in one polished video. I've seen other channels gain millions of views and subscribers this way and I don't think mine will ever be like that unless I make the suggested changes and upload less frequently like all the more successful channels do.
@@BricksieTalks I must have misunderstood you in an earlier video. Regardless, running two channels sounds like a lot of work, I couldn't imagine the work of just one channel that is as big and successful as your main. Good luck with your decision.
@@BricksieTalks What about maintaining the vlogs on the Bricksie channel and then for key projects you could double-dip so to speak by taking clips and making a making-of video and having a "projects" playlist? I mention that because Escape To Rural France does that with his rebuilding of a French chateau: daily or semi-daily vlogs, then once each stage is done, he posts a video showing the highlights of that most recent stage. I assume each appeals to a different segment of his audience and then those condensed highlights videos also serve as a catch-up for anyone who missed the daily vlogs. It's a bit more editing every couple of weeks but might make for the best of both worlds.
There’s only one way to find out if your idea will work or not, you have to just do it. and if it doesn’t work out, then try something else. Good luck and keep posting. 😁👍
@@BricksieTalks yeah the snappy idea just doesn’t vibe with me I like learning the creative reasoning behind your ideas and then seeing it happen in the same video
@@BricksieTalksI think the short and snappy style just feels too much like the mrbeast/td bricks style, where it’s just being thrown at you too fast. I think we really like your content as it is, and you just stick with the idea you presented last video of this channel kind of explaining why you’re not doing things in specific comments, I don’t think you do much of that in your main channel videos, and we like the slow, daily videos that you put out now. The people in the comments that are dying these things are really, when you think about it, a very small fraction of the actual viewers. Just my thoughts, but your channel your choice 🙂
Make the content however you want to make it and don't let strangers on the internet get into your head! If people don't like it they can stop watching. Too many people are eager to freely criticize others for not making content the way they think it should be. If someone else can do it better, they can start their own channel and go viral!
It's unfortunate that the flashy, 3 second shot videos get millions of views. It's an indictmate of our short attention span, needing constant stimulation culture. I look forward to my morning coffee Bricksie video each AM. Thank you for your content.
Wouldn't it be better to have done it the other way? have bricksie remain as much as it is right now. and have this been the showcase channel and keep your revenue stream constant?
I completely understand what you’re saying, there are channels like MARKO where he does a long video of the whole project. I think some of the fans will be upset at first, but at the end of the day they will still get their daily videos from you. It’ll just be on this channel instead. This will make your main channel more welcoming to the casual bricksie fan or newcomer
It sounds like a tough position to be in. I am sure you will figure it out. You always have up to this point, remember that and have confidence in your abilities.
I think I might have had the tipper truck. To long ago to really remember. Also if you got your one with the red bucket second hand someone replaced it with maybe the bucket that came with the train set. I have vague memories of a red bucket being with my train set. Might be worth looking at anyway
I don’t think the style of videos need to really change that much, but rather where the videos are posted. This channel can be where the shopping, part sorting, furniture building, vlog style videos live. Then the main channel would be the city, set building & reviews, and lego displays videos.
When I see people criticize, most of the time they are probably just trolling, especially when they bombard you with a load of negativity. I'm not certain what value their 'opinion' has. If you want to change how you make videos because it's better for you, then do so, but don't just to please viewers. I enjoy the videos how they are now.
Hello B. I love your long videos, I watch on your videos in the evening when I get to bed. Just keep up the good work, do what's best for you in the channel. You have to make money to make this videos for us. Thank you for some great content both here and on the other channel. More power and love to you. Best regards Rasmus Bang from Denmark - home of the Brick
I think you might have to be careful how much weight you put on people's comments. If your videos are getting the views, obviously there are people that like the talking in videos since they keep coming back to them. Plus how you are in videos is a big part of your brand and how you differ from other lego channels.
It's great your evolving what you do, don't be afraid to commit if you truly believe this is the move to make. You may want to research 'the brick automation project' has a lot of potential for running the trains and possibly other aspects of the city.
If you really want to introduce a new channel, let that one be in a new format/ new content. Please keep the original as is (or close to it). Don't be tempted to 'rebrand' success. Keep the 'Bricksie' name for the viewership you already have and use another Bricksie-related name for the more edited one. Keep in mind that the discontented will always be there and more vocal. We, the contented, tend not to comment as much. We just enjoy.
Yay real vintage Lego. Of course, as I'm sure you know, Bricktsar is the Tipper Truck expert. He'll be able to tell you if you have all the correct parts. Have you ever spoken to Alex from Curiosity Inc (based in Edmonton as well), he knows a thing or two about vintage Lego.
Honestly I like the daily videos, videos that's a jumble of a lot of days etc especially when its longer but also those complainingabout things being long are silly, I find harder to watch in a way. I don't know, all i know is i like daily videos or videos every other day, and don't care if some are repeating or going back to projects from the day before. I like how you do things, and talk about the things you tackled in the day etc. I like all the concepts and talking about this and that. I know ive seen a few comments here and there complaining about too much this and that but it seems like I'm seeing more people not wanting things to go to less video's a week. I used to watch jang bricks but he changed stuff and i lost interest in his stuff, your videos on the other hand I enjoy it.
Bricksie… I completely understand that you’re trying to expand your channel etc but judging by the comments there’s no goal, there’s no target. What’s different than just posting on the main? You have more views and subscribers on that one so you get more money. Is there really a point in having the stress of having a second channel to care for?
I would watch either way but I dont mind you talking as I like your ideas and thoughts but this idea sounds cool too. do whatever is easier and more enjoyable for u! I also like the ideas of quick and snappy and being able to do a deeper dive into the other channel.
The changes must happen for the reasons you mentioned in the video !! I don’t know what other viewers thinking or they are just kids and their mind doesn’t go that far yet .. But my original comment about 80% talking.. targets exactly what you say … You want more revenue … for that you need more views, more watching time and in general higher statistics.. So you keep the lights open ..! For that you have to start making few changes.. refresh few things ! Find a way to grab the viewer’s attention! in that way you will start getting more organic subs and better watching time .. Then RUclips will promote more your videos to new accounts and in general the revenue will be higher! Yes us , as viewers we can ask whatever we want .. and bla bla bla .. but i do know and understand 100% that this is business for you .. and you feed the family ..! So because i like you , in a harsh way , i told you and i am telling you , your videos started getting a bit boring! You put so much effort and money on updating your studios .. but you don’t think about what is more important.. The content !! So if you want better business and to not die slowly.. start making changes step by step .. before you end up like these lego RUclipsrs that they have hundreds thousands subs and they get 8-20 K views .. These numbers happening for a reason..! Totally my opinion everything i wrote .. never wrote anything to pick on you .. is more like , “Come on man , we like you and you can do better, for your own sake “ That’s all , peace ✌️ Love from Greece 🇬🇷
Don’t let the 1% of people complaining change how you do things and then upset the 99% of your dedicated followers. Some people will always complain no matter what you do.
hallo Jorden I like your videos on the Bricksie personally I enjoy the daily uploads that show your thoughts about each project in the city. I feel like condensing all that down into one video per build might get rid of some of the personality
I was going to comment the same thing. I can’t imagine Jordan not knowing of JAABO on his BrickTsar RUclips channel and his Tipper Truck Army. Joseph Olsen is a real champion of vintage LEGO … and the Tipper Truck! 🕺
I agree. I commented almost the same thing as you. I love Jordan's personality. It's why I started watching his channel in the first place.
I agree! If I were you I would consider to hire a cutter, it would save so much time for talking, building and your family. Keep up your great work!
@@ryleyw3684I actually did the same thing I used to watch jang about 6 years ago but then he changed and I found bricksie. 😊
Personally I like the Bricksie channel just the way it is and hope you dont change a thing. I watch your channel because you talk, you make it more real, its like spending time with a friend. Its the reason why i watch your channel above others, I truly hope you dont change it 😊🤞
I 100% agree with your comment
That’s the same reason for me too
I happen to love the format you are currently using on the Bricksie channel. (Which you didn't.) 🤣😂🤣
Take care, my friend. Please say hello to Mrs. Bricksie, Benjamin, Millie, and the fur babies. Much love and respect to you all.
@@natalyabaich4006 Exactley same for me
Hello Jordan,
In the early 60’s, Samsonite the luggage company, had the exclusive North American distribution rights for Lego.
The factory in Stratford sold "factory second" bricks - I've got some that have messed up dye (yellow with streaks of black).
I agree that’s what I would prefer too just because I would miss your vlogs.
Don't change what's not broken
I know I am not the only one that would say that no matter what you do, I will be watching both channels! Do what is best for you man! You got some loyal followers that will watch any style on any channel!
Funny thing to me, i love the way your channel operate!
I watch your videos everyday and i really enjoy listen to you talking! XD
Keep it up 👍🏻
I agree that’s why I feel so happy after you do something cool. I will miss your daily vlogs.
Well said. If a second channel is really wanted/needed let that be the new format one, not the original
Same ❤
Hey Bricksie, don’t be too hard on yourself!
@@marcuscostello5635Angry little fella, aren't ya? 😅
@@mmschannel5602well said.
Those people should not influence your creativity or choices. You do you.
My favorite types of videos ranked are:
1. Vlog style studio/life updates
2. Vlog style city updates
3. Vlog style shopping
4. Overview video’s
5. Reviews.
If you change your main channel to the snappy content. It would feel more like a review and that is my least favorite type of video to watch. So my question is why would you try to transfer your current video type to this channel, while this channel is way smaller?
I watch you everyday and I hope you keep your main channel more vlog style.
I’m a big fan of the daily content and little updates to the city. Here for the long ride, also just enjoy your interactions in day to day life ☺️
Hey Jordan, your success is due to your uniqueness and authenticity. Having said that, I’ll continue to watch throughout the evolution of your channels, regardless. Do what works for you mate.
Can you post another GT snowracer and snowboarding video again one day?
I am also in favor of daily content (I watch it with my students) but I am also interested in a longer video showing the intricate parts of the process. When I first found your channel, I spent days going through all of your old videos to find all of the mansion clips, all of the zoo clips, etc.
I love the Bricksie channel just the way it is.
Your videos are great. Do what makes you happy if its working. You will always have fans that want something to be different.
( sorry, rant over!)
Second, I would hate for you to change up what you are doing and put yourself at risk financially or take away your time from your beautiful family .
The biggest reason I watch any Lego channel Is to watch the hole process of building. I would hope you don’t lose that.
Despite what the packaging says ice planet is not from 2002 it came out in 1993 and ran until 1998
I disagree. I love the daily videos. I watch to hear what you are doing and I have no issues at all with you talking. I will keep watching no matter what so I hope what ever you choose makes you happy and keeps the lights on.
Don't change a thing we luv both channels😊 just ignore ppl and their narrow minded self centered bs comments 😊🎉
I really enjoy the daily city update videos, they are a part a my daily routine when I get home from work, so please keep that :)
I like the way it running personally but we can try if that’s what you think is best. But it just kinda feels wrong if you know what I mean. Eh I don’t know I would just miss your videos a lot.
I'm a big fan of Vintage/Classic LEGO, neat sets and the boxes back then where really great.
What, I follow the main channel since the beginning of the studio and I never knew about this seconde channel? Niiiiice! More bricksie :)
That is my thoughts as well
Keep pushing this is your lego crazy adventure!
Also there’s no need for change unless you change! Don’t let the loud few change who you are! Most changes won’t effect your long time fans cuz we are going to watch anything you make 👍
i guess the views dropping on the Bricksie channel month on month is forcing a change over there
I like the talking, and the process.
Do not change Bricksie……content is great and works. I wait for 3pm (Uk time) daily
Honestly if you switch to the clip idea I don’t think I would watch anymore
Interesting, my VLOG styles content would now reside on this channel, the polished short and snappy videos would be on Bricksie.
Then the main channel would be the city, set building & reviews, and lego displays videos.
hi bricksie i personally prefer that you upload every day because i watch your videos every day after school but you have to do what you want
Sounds like a good plan to me. Either way I’m excited to see the progress.
When I see people criticize, most of the time they are probably just trolling, especially when they bombard you with a load of negativity. I'm not certain what value their 'opinion' has. If you want to change how you make videos because it's better for you, then do so, but don't just to please viewers. I enjoy the videos how they are now.
I'm sure Im not the only person who watches you, who looks forward to every daily episode. I don't think you should change the bricksie channel
I agree.
Yes! More vintage!!
I actually forgot about this channel I thought this was the main one.
Bricksie… I completely understand that you’re trying to expand your channel etc but judging by the comments there’s no goal, there’s no target. What’s different than just posting on the main? You have more views and subscribers on that one so you get more money. Is there really a point in having the stress of having a second channel to care for?
it might be a good idea to make a new channel where you upload your condensed city progress videos like twice a month
I would watch either way but I dont mind you talking as I like your ideas and thoughts but this idea sounds cool too. do whatever is easier and more enjoyable for u! I also like the ideas of quick and snappy and being able to do a deeper dive into the other channel.
I actually had no idea you had this channel until today. And I watch your other channel all the time. But yeah,I really enjoy what you have to say.
What ever you do one channel or two I will watch both 👌🏻
Are your analytics down on your main channel or something? Or are you just letting comments get to you?
Maybe both.
Im concerned for you. But, hope your idea works!
The changes must happen for the reasons you mentioned in the video !!
I don’t know what other viewers thinking or they are just kids and their mind doesn’t go that far yet ..
But my original comment about 80% talking.. targets exactly what you say …
You want more revenue … for that you need more views, more watching time and in general higher statistics..
Totally my opinion everything i wrote ..
never wrote anything to pick on you ..
is more like , “Come on man , we like you and you can do better, for your own sake “
That’s all , peace ✌️
Love from Greece 🇬🇷
Dont change the main channel, do the changes here if you really want to, but dont change the current videos, they are great as is
Lego 1682 is the Best! Legoland Town System Spaceshuttle from 1990 with lot of nice feature
Silly me, I didn’t even know you had this 2nd channel. Looks like I have 2 to follow now 😂
Don’t let the 1% of people complaining change how you do things and then upset the 99% of your dedicated followers. Some people will always complain no matter what you do.
IP = Intellectual Property
Haha that was somewhere in my brain lol. What did i even say? independent property or something lol smh

I like your videos on the Bricksie
personally I enjoy the daily uploads that show your thoughts about each project in the city. I feel like condensing all that down into one video per build might get rid of some of the personality
